Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

I bought my 2016 SE from Bloomfield and for a small compact car the quality is equal if not better than a Honda Fit. The car has climate control, heated seats, rides nice and handles great compared to luxury sports cars I've owned yet 1/4 the price. I love it and feel it's made well. Motor has timing belt and wish they used the Duratec motor in here but it seems strong. My dual clutch transmission is great, it is not an automatic with valve body,they shift like bmw m6 and other sports car and it works absolutely normal.

Took it to a mechanic friend's shop and it had been well maintained by the previous owner. They weren't pushy when we spoke, they asked for a fair price, and it's in great condition for 70k miles. i love this car. i bought mine private party in 2020 with 143k miles and all the bells and whistles. it’s got a comfortable, high tech interior, a good looking front end, and excellent gas mileage. i commute 80 miles a day in this thing i’m at 205k now and am starting to get some mechanical issues. i’m definitely fixing whatever the issue is. it will be cheaper and better than owing money on a newer car that’s not as fancy that i don’t already 💗 if you’re going to buy one of these, i recommend getting one with over 100k miles. this model year has some serious transmission issues causing some of them to fail at around 70k miles. if it’s made it significantly past 70k, it’s either a good one or it’s had the transmission replaced previously.

Purchased this car used in 2017 with 42k on it. Currently at 144k has the 2.0l and AWD. I’ve switched immediately to full synthetic, done coolant flushes, and changed all fluids. We have 2 Escapes now 14/16 both with 2.0 and AWD. Love them. We do the preventative maintenance. Hopefully we hit 300k. Most of my previous vehicles have done 266k and 400k.

I have 2014 Ecoboost titanium, lots of recalls, going on 240 thousand miles on it ,routine maitainance ,but last wk turbo went out , so I must be one of the lucky ones hoping to hit the 300 mark

Had the C-Max Hybrid for about a month, and overall it's been a joy to drive. A real all-purpose vehicle that routinely achieves 35-40 mpg in the city, the primary reason we sought it out was it's amazing visibility. Our 6'-5" teenager has not problem getting comfortable behind the wheel, and I've never driven a vehicle that has such great viewing angles - you almost feel too exposed while driving! The regenerative brakes are typically more sensitive than regular brakes, but overall I have only praise for this very versatile little car!

I was extremely satisfied with the service I got from Okaz Moters. They found me a car that meet my criteria and in my price range. The car came with a free CarFax and had been serviced so there shouldn't have been anything wrong with it. When I took the car off the lot and drove it home, I found that it had an oil leak. I told them about it and they offered me multiple options to fix it. They offered to repair it for me without issue but since I live in Michigan and it would be an inconvenience to bring it back to fix it they sent me the money necessary to fix it instead. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was a satisfied customer.

I bought my 2015 Ford Edge used, from a great Idaho dealership! I drive for a living, so it definitely needs to be reliable, and it has to have power to climb the 7% grade that's over 6 miles long, just to leave town. Very amazing, without the key inserted, once you place your foot on the brakes to try to change gears the engine kills, to me mu opinion am very safe an outstanding security setup for car thefts to be prevented. Especially for the cold winters and needing my vehicle to be warmed and the engine going for when I get in my car the heater wouldn't need time to warm up. I have such relax and ease knowing my car is fine being started while me not being inside of it, that no-one can drive away with my vehicle with having the keys inserted. Yet my car was gifted to me but my grandfather but wow such an amazing gift ever !! I say very sincerely, stating that this the every 1st car reviews I've ever done after having many 🙏💛

In Aug 2016, purchased the 2013 Fucus Hatch SE used in 2016, with 13,000 miles on it. With 35-37mpg on average with mixed driving. Early on OK without issues. Around 40K miles the transmission electronic control modual, ECM, needed an adjustment. The transmission is a learning transmission. It will learn how you drive and adjust shift points as your driving habits are learned by the transmission. My wife's driving habits are put it in drive and GO! My habits are different. Every now and then I will drive her car and shift the transmission as a manual drive, since the transmission is a manual drive transmission which has been automated. The engine and transmission only makes a subtle gurgle noise when as the car shifts from 2nd to 1st as the car comes to a stop. The car is sporty to drive, sensitive steering, good braking. It reminds be of a less expensive VW Golf. Currently we have 140K miles and the only wear on the car that shows is a failure of the heat shield and since I am a mechanically inclined guy who putters around fixing what is broken, there is wear on the clutches in the transmission, all due by my wife's driving habits of being a speedy driver. Since we already have it and its paid off, I will keep it. I will only purchase a Golf or Jetta when the transmission or electronic control module hiccups. I do realize the ECM has a recall if you're below 1450K miles.

2014 Focus SE Hatchback bought in 2016 with 7500 miles. Its currently 2025 and 113k miles. The only repair issue was the TCM failure at 90k. I had to wait 3 weeks for the part to come in all the while unable to drive my only vehicle. Only other problem with this car is the heat shields have fallen loose and rattle. I have thought about replacing this car several times over the past 3 years. I've test driven many similar cars and haven't found any that drive much better. So I keep driving this car.

Bought new in 2012 with 2.0L 5 speed manual. This car has been exceptional in every way. Never quits! Never stalled! 272,000 miles, 4 spark plugs, original clutch, just normal Maintenance using FOMOCO recommended oil & filters every 5,000 miles (synthetic-blend). It still gets 35-36 commuting and 38-39 Hwy. Incredible little car! Sad I can’t buy a new one!

Trying to get reimbursed for failed TIR ROD ENDS THAT CAUSED CRASH at 73,00/ miles. Originals had plastic plates, not safe. Had MOOG brand to replace. Other than that and worn tires (Michelin Defenders). No serious issues. Handled well in corners. Fair, not great, fuel mileage. 3.0, 24 valve engine other. No leaks so far. Tie rod ends caused CRASH. Overcharged times FOUR to repair. Upsetting. I keep car up to showroom quality. Tie rod ends that BREAK,van cause death or huge injury. However. Insecure now psychologically. Afraid of more issues. xxxx!
