Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

I purchased a 2009 Ford Focus SE with only 40,895 miles and no service problems plus the Carfax report was with it, April 1st. The car was well cared for. Tom Freeman was my sales rep. The F250/F350 with the 7.3 Diesel by (International T444E) is easy to repair and has simple mechanics behind how it functions. It is a truck that pulls well, if the transmission is upgraded and will last a long time. No emission problems or DEF issues. There are a variety of after market parts to complete repairs and maintenance, unlike new trucks that stop having parts made after 3-5 years. The truck has been around long enough and forums address almost all issues. Transmissions/torque converters are the weak point ($5-8k) and always keep a Cam Position Sensor ($20) in the glove box with a 10mm wrench. Another common maintenance item is the injector control module. I recommend adding a fuel rail cross over to prevent air getting trapped in fuel system and drilling out the oil drains on the top of the heads to allow better draining back to crank case.

Very dependable, Very useful, and Very Fun to own. This truck is at 206,000 miles and everything still works as the day I bought it. I could not express how much I love it. It has the 3.5 ecoboost twin turbo engine and the fx4 luxury package it eats dodges and craps on chevy. Please note that if you currently have the 3.5 Eco boost or 2.7 Eco boost to change oil every 3 to 4k due to the high temp your oil gets because you have turbos the 5.0 v8 doesn't have turbos btw

Purchased this car used in 2017 with 42k on it. Currently at 144k has the 2.0l and AWD. I’ve switched immediately to full synthetic, done coolant flushes, and changed all fluids. We have 2 Escapes now 14/16 both with 2.0 and AWD. Love them. We do the preventative maintenance. Hopefully we hit 300k. Most of my previous vehicles have done 266k and 400k.

The Ford Fusion SE FWD has proved itself to be a solid choice. It is reliable in stop-and-go traffic and is nimble enough to overtake other cars on highways. It is also quite comfortable, although the headrest is quite uncomfortably placed. The suspension absorbs most of the road's vibrations. When turned on at lower speeds, the motor can be louder than expected, but the transition between electric and ICE power is quite smooth. The design is aggressive, and it looks quite good. The car is also reliable, and parts aren't hard to find. The infotainment system, however, is not as sophisticated as expected, but not in a pleasant way. Overall, I would still recommend the car; it's practical, reliable, and nimble.

I`ve owned several explorers through the years and put countless trouble free miles on them. The v8 equiped versions are my favorite makes merging into traffic a breeze. I found this one with only 77k miles on it and couldn`t pass it up.
