I traded in my Dodge Challenger for something that gets better gas mileage. Let me say first that I was skeptical about trading in a car for fear of losing value. They saw that my car was very well taken care of and offered more than I was expecting for trade in value! Karla responded to my inquiry first thing after checking to see if they had what I wanted in stock. I arrived the following morning and Karla met me on the lot. Im giving this place 5 stars because there was no hassle what so ever! These people are different from the giant dealership system where they send you from person to person. Karla took me through the whole process and made it into a worry free trade. All the staff are personable not to mention some of the pretty sweet classics they have for sale. I have mostly driven big cars gran torino, Montecarlo, deville,town car.This is my first sports car and it's a blast to drive 2012 mustang gt kona blue. I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants to drive a performance car Lots of fun.

The Ford Fusion was a modest priced sedan, low maintenance, great mileage and the hybrids are so smooth compared to all the other brands. I've own 6 of them since 2010. When Ford stopped making the Fusion after 2020 and decided to give away their sedan line, the copy cat models of Hyundai and Toyota both increased sales in the 20% range. Gas, oil and little electricity for the plug-in and these near maintenance free cars just go and go. I've put as much as 165,000 on them without issue.

I bought a used 2020 Ford escape hybrid titanium with 33,000 miles. I came from a 2015 X3 and I am surprised how well this car handles and feels firmly planted. I love the electric driving at slow speeds and you can hear the gas engine come on and it’s louder than my BMW, but I am still pleasantly surprised by the low level of road noise at highway speeds. Mine is Persian green, which is rare, and absolutely beautiful after I waxed it. The exterior is pretty good, considering its price range, and the interior is subpar with the hard plastic on the doors, but overall, the controls are very intuitive, easily reachable, and after I learned how to use all the options, my favorite feature is the adaptive cruise control with stop and go and lane centering. The car basically just drives itself, even in the city at low speeds. I just have to make the turns and stop at red lights and stop signs if there is no car in front of me. I also love the short stopping distances with the brakes, which feel great and confidence-inspiring, and the steering actually feels better than in my BMW, which was too light at highway speeds. Another feature that sold me was how much legroom there is in the backseat, especially the fact that you can recline the backseat a little bit and also push it a few inches back to create more legroom. There is definitely more legroom in the front and back than in my BMW, even though my BMW was a few inches longer than this car. I love the look of the RAV4 hybrid XLE and it has more cargo room, but if you check the user reviews, you’ll see that the Escape hybrid actually beats it in mpg and in my area, I would’ve paid $8k - $9k more for a similar used RAV4 so I felt like the Escape hybrid was a better value overall. I rarely buy extended warranties with cars, but I did with this one since it was such a good deal at only $4000 but it gave me seven years of extended coverage and up to 80,000 more miles, whichever comes first. Considering how tariffs will affect car part pricing and car repair bills, I thought this was a an exceptional value, just like the car itself. I’ve only had it for three weeks, but I am really enjoying driving the car and seeing how little gas it sips.

I have had mine 2018 Ford Fusion since 2019 and just had battery replaced last year 2024,and replaced brake pads this year 2025 IT IS MAKING ME HAPPY !

I have the 2013 model SEL. I really don't care for the front wheel drive but overall this car is a workhorse. I have 250,00 on the 2013 and she will get up and go smoothly. Good on gas as well and dependable. Except for the 2013 waterpump issue. Other than that, its dependable and the interior is nice leather, not cheaply made. Im getting another one for sure.

Had the C-Max Hybrid for about a month, and overall it's been a joy to drive. A real all-purpose vehicle that routinely achieves 35-40 mpg in the city, the primary reason we sought it out was it's amazing visibility. Our 6'-5" teenager has not problem getting comfortable behind the wheel, and I've never driven a vehicle that has such great viewing angles - you almost feel too exposed while driving! The regenerative brakes are typically more sensitive than regular brakes, but overall I have only praise for this very versatile little car!

The entire team at Monken has been helpful, friendly, caring, efficient, and caring. I brought my entire family (5 kids!) to buy a new van. Before we came, they worked with me over the phone to narrow things down. When I arrived, they took my messy van as a trade-in, took the car seats out and reinstalled them in the new van, entertained my kids with popcorn and candy (after asking our permission), cleaned up their spills and mess without making it an issue, made my purchasing process the quickest it has ever been, and I drove away with a new van, exactly what I wanted with a full tank of gas. I HATE buying cars. But since buying my last two at Monken, I'm a customer for life. I Loved my 2019 Ford Escape! It was my third Escape, as I previously owned a 2005, and a 2011! Sadly, it was my last as FORD's new version of the Escape is AWFUL! I NEVER had one issue with my 2019, and I drove over 94,000 miles over the 6 1/2 Years that I owned it! However, the resale value SUCKS! I know it's just the game they play at the dealers, but it's an ugly game where the consumer always loses! But - it's only money,,, and you can't take it with you!

Rick Schur was my fantastically personable salesman. Not only did he sell me 2003 Buick Century back in 2016 but the car is still running although it’s in need of some repairs now, in 2023. And to take the cake Rick and his assistant, drove the car to me out here in St. Charles, Mo. from Troy, IL, during a snowstorm. I've loved the car. 2015 Ford Fusion SE Ecoboost. @ high 76000 miles the transmission is bumping in reverse and slipping some in forward gear. Now bumping in forward gear also. Purchased with just under 5000 miles.

Pretty easy process for us. We knew what we were already going to be looking at because we really wanted a hybrid. We bought it used but the dealership did a really good job inspecting it and making sure it not a lot was wrong with it. If it weren't for the smoker who was in it last I think the headliner would be cleaner but otherwise the car was in good shape inside. There were a few dings here and there on the outside. The car drives and runs really smooth and overall was happy.

Purchased a 2018 titanium hybrid with 77K miles on it in 2019, for commuting purposes. I have driven 51K. I had to replace the emergency eletrical brake motor, put a new battery in (not HV), new spark plugs, regular maintenance. I run 400 mls. each week. This car is troublefree. I am totally impressed with performance and reliability, gas consumption (36.8 mpg) since I have a lead foot and on top of that, the car looks sleek. Excellent exterior design and impressive interior. I would have preferred to have the driver seat slide back a couple more inches, but it is very comfortable nevertheless. Great acceleration for passing and is peppy enough to satisfy my aggressive driving (which I have under control). The sound system is incredible. Old school so I love the bass. Great car.

A 2014 and 2019 Fusion I’ve had. Still driving the ‘19. ‘14 was that great red color, Se but back then you could load it ( came like that ), An SE model with leather, moonroof heated seats - same as top of line except no Sony radio. Had a 2008 Audi A6 - this Fusion reminded me so much of the Audi, when pulling away has this heavy feel, almost as quiet as A6. almost as smooth- interior - we know who took that. My 2019 has 109K on it - really only one problem, check engine light came on - Oxygen sensor - tires, brakes battery, I read somewhere that Ford stopped it because they didn’t really make any money, the SUV craze. Simple car no problem. First new car for me was 1985 Toyota Corolla - 13 years and 235,000 miles when the head gasket went.

This is the 3rd Taurus I have owned, and it's the best yet. It handles very good. It's faster than my previous Taurus, which was a 2010. I really like the fact that it has a CD player. I bought this one because the Taurus has always been very reliable. I gave my 2010 to my daughter with 130 thousand miles on it, and it still runs great. I don't understand why Ford stopped making this car.

Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

I just wanted to say, I was a little hesitant at looking for a classic truck so far from home to show in memory of my 41 year old son who passed suddenly two years ago. I will say Vaughn and his team are the best. He made everything right an worked beyond to make this happen for me. Great man and great family man.

I bought a 2004 E250 5.4l AOD4R75W trans hightop conversion van (Conversion done by Regency) with 42 miles on it. Four and a half years later it has over 100,000 miles on it many towing a 28' travel trailer and drives as well as day one. It has been in the shop only once and I do all the routine maintainence. We have towed from Las Vegas to South Dakota and New Orleans. Heading there again this summer. It is the vehicle that is requested to transport kids all over the state for sports and youth group activities. Never once left me stranded.

Have a 110k miles on my 2014 Fusion. It never breaks, just keeps going. Tires, breaks and oil changes that about it. Have the 2.0L Turbo with FWD. When I first got it I put 80k in the first four years but now I live close to work and don't put many miles on it. Out of the 8 years I have it had nothing has broken, beside two fender benders. Other cars I have sold after a few years but this one has been so good I kept it, I'm going to give it to my son when he is old enough to drive in a few years.
