car performes well , overall satisfied with it , but it has a rust issue ! rust under the rear wheel frame on both sides , rust under the rear lift gate , chrome on the wheel reems peeling .

The Flex has been an amazing car to own. Bought it new in 2010 and it has never left me stranded since. Got the Limited trim and it is still an elegant interior even to this day. The car has always ran strong and the 200HP is great power for the car allowing me to zip around the city pretty quickly. It is an easy car to drive even at it's large size and has the most comfortable ride.

Update from JJ Newark NJ. Now have my blue 2011 Ford Fusion for almost 2 years. Best car 🚙 I have ever had . Just had issue with door handles because of a plastic part but mechanic says this is common on this car .Only thing I have serviced is transmission @55;000 miles and they reprogrammed it.As a result of that service car is definitely running much smoother. I change oil every 5000 miles and air filter s 10,000 mile intervals: Car now has 65,000 miles and runs brand new. Love ❤️ it. Thanks Ford for making a super automobile 🚙🇮🇪🍀🙏

My last one was at 262000 miles and still going strong until I totaled it. Drove it on long trips all over. I loved the AWD. Wish I had another one.

In Aug 2016, purchased the 2013 Fucus Hatch SE used in 2016, with 13,000 miles on it. With 35-37mpg on average with mixed driving. Early on OK without issues. Around 40K miles the transmission electronic control modual, ECM, needed an adjustment. The transmission is a learning transmission. It will learn how you drive and adjust shift points as your driving habits are learned by the transmission. My wife's driving habits are put it in drive and GO! My habits are different. Every now and then I will drive her car and shift the transmission as a manual drive, since the transmission is a manual drive transmission which has been automated. The engine and transmission only makes a subtle gurgle noise when as the car shifts from 2nd to 1st as the car comes to a stop. The car is sporty to drive, sensitive steering, good braking. It reminds be of a less expensive VW Golf. Currently we have 140K miles and the only wear on the car that shows is a failure of the heat shield and since I am a mechanically inclined guy who putters around fixing what is broken, there is wear on the clutches in the transmission, all due by my wife's driving habits of being a speedy driver. Since we already have it and its paid off, I will keep it. I will only purchase a Golf or Jetta when the transmission or electronic control module hiccups. I do realize the ECM has a recall if you're below 1450K miles.

I bought a 2008 escape hybrid from a government auction-it was used as a fire department vehicle in Denver Colorado. The hybrid version is the best in snow and bad weather due to its extra battery weight of 300lbs over the rear tires. Overall I haven’t had any real issues except for having to replace the hybrid battery that you can get a rebuilt better than oem for a fraction of what ford would charge to replace. This vehicle is awesome and will go just about anywhere and is good on gas for an suv.

I've had my 2008 Ford Taurus X since new. Other than regular maintenance and tire replacements, I've had no other issues. It runs and looks as good as the day I bought it. It now has 177,000 miles on it.

The good news? I found my car. The bad news? It was in Fontana! I live in Mission Viejo, O.C. What's even worse, the ride I arranged to take me back to pick it up, was taken to hospital with covid. Yikes! Well, I struggled to find an alternative ride yet it seems people just don't like Fontana. THANKFULLY, I had MATHEW as my salesman. He was a dream the moment I walked on the lot. The Ford Expedition was the best vehicle I've ever owned so far. I love taking road trips and this SUV was stress free. I was even surprised at the decent gas mileage on these road trips (20 plus). As long as you maintain it, it will take care of you. Thankfully, I did not have to put alot of money into repairs but I did maintain it faithfully. Mine had the 4.6 liter engine and it was sufficient for my needs. That truck lasted me 175k plus before I traded it in to help family secure a vehicle.

I've known the 2013 Ford Fiesta SE for the last 10 years, got it new back in 2013, it's at 168,300+ miles at the moment. Not fancy by any means, but the seating isn't bad if you're under 6 feet tall, for example I'm 5'5" and I have decent leg room and headroom, no one else but the driver gets an armrest, for entertainment it has Bluetooth and the speakers are nice, it gets the job done of going from A to B safely without costing an arm and a leg. Small eco cars of course may not favor well in accidents but that's countered by the cheap value, which is great for safe drivers who may not have deep pockets. 35MPG with 12 gallon tank gets you roughly 400 miles full at the 15K price range these days while being fairly reliable, can't really be beat. Only thing I've had to do is change out an electrical board piece, the caliper belt, brakes, battery and the tires, but that's just what it takes to keep a vehicle going long term. One thing I have noticed though is that the transmission has a tough time changing gears when you're at a stop and trying to accelerate out of the first gear, but after that it's smooth sailing. It's been doing that no worse or better for at least a year now, just a quirk at this point. Don't wanna waste any big money on a big part like that if it only happens in low speed conditions where it's safe to be quirky.

This model is fine, but previously had a 2010 Fusion which was a safety hazard as it stopped when it wanted to and could not be trusted. Turned in for another new Fusion. This model is OK but heated seats totally stopped working at 9 years, so reliability was given 3 stars, but the engine is working great with only 114K as of 2022.

I came to California Motor Cars based on a a vehicle I saw from a friend who showed me. After meeting with Chris he confirmed for me what I had saw online. He was so helpful and really knew a lot about the cars he showed me. Then he showed me a real low mileage Chevy Sonic that had been just traded in, that looked and drove like it was new, and my search was over. The price was better than I thought it would be. This car meets all my needs. It gets great gas mileage with an average of 35 mpg ( better in city worse on freeway) and is a comfortable easy to drive car. Love the bluetooth functionality and heated seats. Overall definitely recommend.
