It's not the greatest looking vehicle on the road, let's be honest. Although i think it's looks kind of cool personally. It's what I like to call a poor man's Jeep. Nevertheless, these Trackers have a Japanese 1.6L engine that seems to want to keep running. I bought mine used for $1,600 with the floors pretty rusted out and the soft top old and damaged. I've had it for about 10 months and I've only changed the oil and got new tires and a new soft top. So I've got about $2,500 in it and it's extremely reliable. Has a small amount of white smoke on startup that dissipates quickly. Runs great and starts every single time no issue. 4WD works great with manual hub locks. Lacks power, obviously, with only a 1.6L engine that can only register about 90MPH or so. But a wise man or woman would likely keep these vehicles under 75MPH, imo. The dimensions are about the same as an old Jeep Willy's or a side-by-side. Not the most comfortable due to lack of space, especially arm rest area if you're a larger person. Height nay be an issue, too, if you are much taller than 6'2 or so. I give it a 5-star rating due to the reliability and affordability.

Best gas mileage and most reliable car ever

I bought this car in 1994 ,5spd,a/c, deluxe radio .met green,for I think it was $9,482 out the door and it was the most dependable car I have ever owned and it was a joy to own from 94-2017 I drove everywhere with this car ,snow,rain,mud,long distance and just about anywhere you can drive. Never a problem in the 200k miles ,I only replaced a clutch cable ,a set of Front brake pads,a Battery,and in those miles only 2 sets of tires and everything worked as it did new ,auto locks etc and a/c would blow you out and so would the heat too .Great snow car never needed chains and went more places thank my truck could .I was sad to see it go ,at 200 k the water pump went and it went to the repair shop for water pump and timing belt and it was accidentally totaled and now I am looking for another
