I bought this truck new 8 years ago (and 77k miles). I use this truck for truck things like towing a 5,200lb trailer @8 times a year. The V6 has plenty of power and gets good mileage (22 mpg combined, 29 highway empty, 15 pulling the trailer). Reliability has been outstanding. The transmission needs a full flush about every 40k to keep it shifting smoothly. Other than that this truck has been without issue.

I really like my GMC Canyon 2015 it's a very nice truck .it's been very good ,it does have a couple problems that I've taken care of but all in all I really enjoy driving on the highway in my truck.

My new 2025 Trax had a check engine light come on shortly after I purchased it from Robbins Chevrolet. Alex Fierro was my service mgr. from the start. He checked in with me several times a week. Missing a few things that could really make it better. Homelink for garage door isn’t offered? Doesn’t come with a receiver type hitch however what does comes with it is almost the same amount of steel. The phone charger doesn’t work quite right and they know it.

Our AT4X has been an excellent mid-size truck. The ride is shockingly smooth and the engine has a lot of torque. Wish the interior had less plastic and GM's failure to have a rear view camera mirror or controls for garage/gate contols is inexcusible. Overall, could not be more pleased with this truck.

Had my 2024 Canyon for exactly one year. Not a single real issue once over the air update was done and that only affected the radio. It was an AT4 in desert sand metallic. I traded it for a 2025 Acadia, as I missed life in an SUV. However if you want a truck, I’d highly recommend it and specifically the AT4 model. It’s got meaty tires for pothole protection, it’s able to tow more than you can imagine, it looks super amazing and you’ll have lots of thumbs up and positive comments when you get gas, etc. updated tech was more than you could ask for. 4WD auto mode worked flawlessly. Engine had a nice little growl that I miss too. Let me say if you are a truck person or want to be a truck person, it’s a perfect mid size truck. Mine was 100% and am missing it yes but love the Acadia because it’s also a great vehicle. Got the AT4 Acadia and for my situation it’s perfect.

Everything was first rate with this car dealership. It was so easy to get financed and get the monthly payment where I wanted it. Would definitely recommend this dealership

GMC Diesel Canyon AT4. I've had this truck for a year-11,000 miles. I love it. The Denali and Elevation trim looked like junk. The AT4 can't compete with the Tacoma off road but, It holds it's own off road. The Diesel pulls like a beast and the exhuast brake, on all the moutain passes I drive, is worth it's wieght in Gold. I trailer the max. capacity regularly and it's smooth sailing. I traded in my 2500HD Silverado with the vortec 6.0 for this big, little truck. Best decision I've made in a while. I had this truck on order for 8 months and Gm never accepted the order. I finally found exactly what I ordered, just off the truck that morning that I called. 1300 miles away, I jumped on a plane to go get it. Crying shame GMC discontinued the diesel. The extra $ per gallon right now is easily washed by the increase in mileage, 32+ higway, 19 trallering almost 8000 #'s. I wouldn't want the truck without it. Wouldn't want the Elevation or Denali. Diesel AT4 is the truck. I'll keep it the rest of my life barring accident. I'm sure I can get 40 years out of this truck doing 10-12k a year. The regeneration of the exhaust has never come up but, I only do a little round town driving. Most of my miles are highway and hauling a load. I've heard horror stories about regen. from city folk, commuters... You get what you aim for. If you've given it a lot of thought and the diesel AT4 seems right for you, you won't be disappointed. Martin Chevrolet Buick GMC is a Family own busine run This purchase makes my 5th Special order vehicle I have purchased in my life. Each and every time, I sat down to do the numbers, you leave the dealership with your head spinning as to the stuff they try to incorporate into your Sales Agreement. NOT this time, Martin Chevrolet Buick GMC did everything that I was expecting. First, let me tell you I had the Dream team working on my behalf. Shout out to; Janet Martin- Vice President, Efrain Salazar ? Sales Manager, JC Phillips ? Finance Manager and MOST important; Justin Allen ? Sales Specialist who work with me for over two years to get my new vehicle. The amount of time to get the vehicle was of no fault of this dealership, it was General Motors, Covid, Part Shortages and anything else you can think of. The Sales manager made she I was okay with the numbers and the Finance guy did not beat me over the head trying to sell me things I didn?t want. Note: this was my 4th order of this new vehicle, twice before with different GMC dealerships who at the end of the process was inflating their number much more than I was going to do. I have loved and owned Chevy and GMC midsized trucks since 98 when I purchased a used S-10. My latest purchase is a 2021 GMC Canyon Denali bought brand new. It's been a great truck until my power steering unit went out due to corrosion. It only has 32,200 miles on it and I have never gotten it wet other than car washes and driving in the rain which is normal conditions. I had purchased a mid grade extended warranty through GMC after my lease was up and purchased the truck. I am being told this is NOT covered due to it being external wiring. So I feel this is a manufacturing malfunction and bad engineering for water to be able to get in to cause such corrosion so beware. This is an open case filed with GM currently to hopefully rectify the matter.

Bought a 2024 AT4 new in March. Now have 11,000 miles with ZERO issues. Absolutely love to drive this truck. Considered Tacoma, Ranger, Frontier, Ridgeline, and Colorado. The Canyon is superior in almost every way. Only negative is that the truck sits tall (9.6 inch ground clearance) so steps are a necessity. However, sitting so high is great for driving. Feels like a full size truck when you sit in it.
