Used GMC Envoy for sale under $8,000 near me

I have a 2004 envoy now. I purchased it with like 165,000. I have 205,000. Now probably the best ruining vehicle I've had and im 55 years old. Electrical and radio problems but definitely no engine problems.

After about a month of searching for a car, Endless visits to dealership they just didn't have the car I wanted, or we just couldn't come to deal. I was looking online and found the car I wanted, but it was over an hour away at Cox Auto. So, i gave them a call and spoke with a salesman (Travis) told him what I was looking for and wanted and within a few text messages and two phone calls we made a deal went the dealership and within a few hours i was driving away in my new car. Great vehicle. I purchased it at 200,000 miles for $1,500 and I’m still using it at 245,000 miles. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the engine stalling with no mechanics being able to solve the problem. It’s the catalytic converter. It clogs and the exhaust fumes can’t escape. You can disconnect the exhaust section with the catalytic converter and drive it around to see if that is the problem. I can’t tell you how to fix it but I’ll just say I get 2 mpg more now that I “fixed” it and my Envoy smells like a boat.

I live in Chicago where winter driving and conditions kill cars every year,That being said, I love the traction control the AWD in this is perfect I do not fear getting stuck or going to the store, actually enjoy the chance to drive while others just spin their tires. best vehicle I've ever had here. No hub locking in the cold either all drive options on the dash, switch on the fly all except 4WD Lo gear has to be done at very slow speed like walking speed.

It was a great vehicle when I bought it it was good on gas and I never had any problems with it. I was driving in the winter and was run off the road I took down 5 steel posts all I had to do was change the tire and drive it home it’s still in perfect driving condition.

They got back to me real quickly and were very inviting to visit their location.

Bought 10 yrs ago w/ 76kmi ,now has 227k has been absolutely great SUV . Now has rear main seal leak and burning oil so time to retire her but still rides better than most new cars

This may well be the best riding/handling truck I've ever owned. It's comfortable, steps over potholes like they aren't even there. I've seen reviews from people whining about lighting issues, check engine light on (like every car), and other maintenance related problems, maintenance being the operative word. All cars need it and, the longer you put it off, the more it will cost you in the end. I'm a 4WD guy and not that hot on AWD. Well, The Envoy gives you BOTH choices. I bought mine stupid cheap a 2008 for 4 grand , not a dent, scratch, rust spot, or even a paint chip! The previous owners traded it because it was going through tires.Well, I bought new ones and did that stupid 4 wheel alignment thing and guess what, not more uneven tire wear. If you don't take care of them, they won't take care of you. Simple as that.

Very easy and relaxing environment to shop or browse in. Jerry makes you feel comfortable and no pressure is placed on you to rush you into buying any vehicle. This is the best Car I have ever owned. She has never let me down and the in-line 6 cylinder engine has been very reliable.

The V-8 has ample power for this SWB truck, and great tow vehicle with 3.73 4x4. Low mileage for me but after 95k the only surprise was replacing the fuel-level indicator. Reading of potential AFM issues, I disabled this feature and found it does not impact fuel economy. Since disabling AFM, no longer has excessive oil consumption common with this 5.3.

The Envoy It’s a very comfortable and powerful SUV. The towing capabilities were perfect for our family getaway to the lake. The 4.2L V6 engine is powerful enough for the hills and straightaways. The marriage between the transmission and the engine was almost flawless. The convenience of the fold flat seats Made the cargo space Perfect for carrying practically anything. I highly recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, style and practicality!The safety features are abundant as well!

My experience at Lot#1 Robinson location of #1 Cochran was simple and quick. I walked the oot for about 5 minutes before I was approached by a Salesperson. This afforded me an opportunity to examine the 2 vehicles that I was interested in without any pressure or interference! The Salesperson was complimentary and almost apologetic about the condition of the cars, which explained the great price posted online. The issues were mostly cosmetic ( peeling clear coat) and foreign sealant surrounding the rear tire wells and panels. Pictures provided online were okay but perhaps a more realistic depiction of problem areas would have been useful.

Lots of get-up and go for the Denali V8. Fun on the performance side. Ride is good. Seats are a little stiff and flat (for bucket seats). Nice ride height to see around cars in front of you. Easy in and out of the car. Narrow wheel base makes side-to-side swaying more noticable. Enjoy the Denali!

This is better than I expected, all the bells and whistles! It's a smooth ride, quiet running engine. I haven't owned it that long but it was a great deal and I'm pleased with this SUV so far. Haven't driven it in the snow yet- but I know I'll feel safe as GMC vehicles are well made.
