2021 GMC sierra 1500, 5.3, crew cab 4x4, 21000 miles. brakepad monitor lites up. dealership says needs brakes and rotors in back. one mo. on warranty. our rural roads dirty up the monitor. Needs new monitor. brakes look great to me. No noises. dealer says parts on order GM strike. Can't replace myself cause of computer...

We left our house this morning on a mission to look at 5 dealership with basically the same style trucks and packages, just different add ons or colors. Reineke Ford was the first stop. From the second I hit the lot I had a comfortable feeling. We weren't swamped or ganged up on walking the lot. I walked in and asked for the online sales manager who paired me up with a sales representative named Melissa Kia and I was extremely impressed. Her knowledge of Ford trucks and how to operate all the tech and features was spot on. She answered all my questions and showed me every inch and feature in about 15min and already had it by the front door with a tag on it waiting. Prior to this, I had a lifetime of GMC trucks and a recent past with a couple of Rams. Both brands had failed with either an engine rebuild or a transmission so I was ready for something different. She sold me on the features and had me very interested. After the drive I met JB Brentson to put our deal together. We're both hard working parents but given the past few 10 years or so, we've had some life happens kind of things so we knew it would take some help. When our preferred lender Capitol One refused the offer they told us to make, we decided it was time to leave. JB asked me to trust him and give him a chance. He'd make it work. So we did because I truly felt this was going to be the dealership to make it work. So I abandoned the other choices and after about 20min we were signing the papers and shaking hands. It was absolutely refreshing to actually find a dealership that was there for us. My 2022 GMC Sierra 3.0 Duramax pickup truck is a good truck. I work on a farm and I also drive an hour to see my girlfriend. For the farm, it has excellent towing capability and for the hour long drive to go see my girlfriend, depending on the weather for traveling, I can get up to 35 miles to the gallon!

I bought my 2020 with 36k miles a couple of years ago and I now have 60k miles of trouble free very enjoyable driving. It was expensive, but worth every penny. The ride is so quiet and comfortable my wife and I prefer traveling in it instead of our 2018 Acura MDX which we also love. The 5.3 V8 has plenty of power and towing ability. The multi-function tail gate is genius, I hope to never be without one again. We so enjoy all the bells and whistles, especially the wireless phone charger. So glad I bought this truck!

The experience was good. The sales lady called me immediately and sent video of the truck since there were no pictures on line. I made the request Saturday night Amarie called me Monday morning I went in to view the truck and did a test drive on Tuesday and made the purchase.

Got the duramax diesel and getting 24 city and 32 highway is very good. Truck drives nice and is very comfortable. My 2 issues with this truck is the backup camera at night is useless (very dark) and interior lighting is not very good. You would have thought a 78k truck would have footwell lights, but it doesn’t.

I get my truck serviced here for everything. The biggest and ONLY downside is when I needed a exhaust manifold and none in stock. (Chrysler problem NOT a Shelor problem) Shelor worked over the manifold and got me back on the road though. 1 year later I am getting ready to get that manifold replaced and Shelor has the part in stock and holding it for me.

I purchased pre-owned 2020 1500 SLT in February of this year. The truck rides comfortable and has plenty of room front and rear. My and I both enjoy it. My only drawback is the turn radius (lock to lock). It lacks compared to my wife's 2018 Yukon SLT, or the 2016 Ram I traded in. Have to many times maneuver twice to park it going forward or reverse. Otherwise happy with our purchase.

Looked at more expensive truck with less options, bought the GMC SIERRA AT4 Turbo Diesel 6. I now only put fuel im once a month. And long distance trips are easier due to better fuel economy. One of my best investments ever.

I purchased a new 2019 SLT with the X1 package. It has the Red Quartz Tintcoat paint. I usually never leave reviews, but honestly this is the most comfortable, nicest loking truck I've owned , and I've ownwd alot of them. The only issues I've had was the brake software was flawed, took it to the dealer on recall and they installed a new software patch, Other then that I love the styling, performance and the interior is very nice. No regrets

Waiting for the Refreshed 2022 AT4 was well worth it! With all the manufacturing issues today, building and shipping was slow, but understandable. Love the truck and the features! Fit is perfect and quality is #1. Pricing was too high but all vehicles are running this way. You get what you pay for and this truck is perfect! I have owned many trucks and this by far is the best. The latest features are beyond most other makes and GM has thought this truck through from front to rear.

I have a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with the 3.0 Diesel engine. I have 20,000 miles on it at the time of writing this. Never owned a diesel before and now i don't think i will own another one without it. I LOVE the engine in this truck. Only complaint would be that it likes DEF fluid while towing so pick up some extra DEF before you head out to tow something. Put about 8K miles on it this summer without adding any DEF fluid. seems to use a little more in the winter or when towing. Very quiet for a deisel and the fuel economy is awesome. Driving 70 mph down the freeway this truck gets about 30mpg, Drive 55mph on regular highways and this truck gets almost 40mpg. All around driving for me is about 26mpg. I used to fill up twice a week with my gas motor and now only once a week. Wireless Apple Carplay works great and the voice texting and mapping is a big plus. I also have the new SuperCruise feature which is awesome. Get on the freeway and set the supercruise on and the truck drives itself until i get to my exit (about 28 miles from home to work). Bose stereo is out of this world and all the storage is great to. I have a swingout bed toolbox, aluminum roll up tonneau cover, Lighted black GMC front emblem, Gloss Black 22" wheels, All Black decals and my dual exhaust bezels are black as well. I rotate the tires and change the oil every 5,000 miles. Couldn't ask for a better truck. Might get the ultimate next time as that has the messaging seats which i kinda wish I had.

I bought a 2019 GMC Sierra Elevation. I traded in a FULLY loaded 2015 Sierra SLT, that I was really sad to see go, but the Elevation really sold me on styling and ride quality. I lost a couple high end bells and whistles, but the overall performance and look of the truck make up for it big time!

Bought this truck used,I love the comfort. I used to have a ranger.I can fit my plywood in the bed and close it.It is a long bed.My 12 foot jon boat fits good,.better than the ranger and more comfortable

I needed a new pickup and while I wanted a Ford F150 I could not find one set up how I wanted. When I did the Ford dealers didn't want to give what I felt my trade in was worth. I got what I wanted and got a great deal on a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation. It is even set up better than the F150's I was looking for and at a better price. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Overall I am very happy with my new Truck. GMC however needs to address their software glitch where the display screen intermittently stops working or the audio cuts in and out. I keep hearing a software update is being worked on but that was a while ago?

I did my research and test drove several models. The GMC 1500 Duramax does everything I want it to do and more. Great gas milage, nice power and very comfortable.

I have the 1500 double cab with standard bed. The reason I have this vehicle is I really like the 6.5 foot bed. The crew cab with same bed is just too long. The things I dislike about this model is that it only comes in the SLE model. For the 2025 that means the external mirrors do NOT have a power fold in and it does not have a seat memory for more that one driver. The power fold in for the mirrors is extremely important to me.
