I always bought the GMC Acadia (4 times) but decided to try the terrain. I absolutely love it and it's a great car for zipping around in town. I would take it for a weekend trip but not on a long trip as it doesn't have a lot of cab room, but for two people it is fine

The overall experience was fine but I was just not used to this business model. I bought a $70,000 used vehicle and after having dealt with the Land Rover and Mercedes dealerships for years, the customer service at CarMax is just not up to their level. But I guess that was how I paid $2500 - $5,000 less than what other dealers were charging for the same car.

I had my 2020 Terrain for 5 years before I had any major issues out of it. My brake booster needed replaced. After about a month of it being out the shop someone hit and totaled it. Very sad day. I love my Terrain

The GMC Terrain is a very dependable auto that I have had no issues. The model is the AT4, which has the headsup display. Interior is nice with leather and all the electronics options.

To be honest, this SUV impressed me with the great performance even with the small 1.5 liter engine, and huge space inside, it rides like a bigger vehicle, very responsive on the highway and very quiet cabin. My wife really liked it.

Last month, I purchased a set of tires from them because they were the most affordable. (It was a great experience!) READ PLEASE I love my Terrain. DO NOT get the 1.5 L. My engine has barely made it over 100,000 I have had $6k of repairs in less than a year. Things keep going wrong now. I had NO issues before. Catalytic converter went out 75-85k miles. My turbo was just replaced. Just beware of this type of engine… every mechanic that worked on it shared this is not uncommon for this type. I would definitely get another terrain but not the 1.5!

check the oil every tank fill, dealer advised if it dropped too far it would scrap the timing chain, interference engine lock up. a 6 inch strip of paint blistered off the roof, the rear deck won't set down horizontal (everything slides to the rear. rides like a limo, handles like a dream, no real probs. 168k on the odo.

Taking it on road trip Oklahoma to Key West Florida w/ stopover in Tennessee. I am getting 30 mpg running 75 mph. It handled like a dream going through Smokie mt. I was getting 32 mpg there. I like the ride on the interstates & I love the adaptive cruise control.
