Used GMC Terrain for sale near Woodmere, OH under $14,978

When I went to SERPENTINI CHEVROLET to purchase a used 2012 SRX. I had really excellent credit. I made a big GIGANTIC mistake. On 4 APRIL of this year I purchased a used 2012 SRX with 145,000 miles on it. Going in to the deal, I did not realize how hard it was going to be to get someone to finance a vehicle with that many miles on it, and at 12 years old in car years. This SRX is considered to be an OLD, over the HILL motor vehicle on LIFE SUPPORT. In other words this 2012 SRX needs a MAJOR HEART TRANSPLANT. I am still getting loan TURNED DOWN NOTICES in the mail. It has been over ONE MONTH since I drove it off the lot. I am currently making the TURNED down NOTICES that keep coming in the mail into a big GIGANTIC roll of toilet paper.

check the oil every tank fill, dealer advised if it dropped too far it would scrap the timing chain, interference engine lock up. a 6 inch strip of paint blistered off the roof, the rear deck won't set down horizontal (everything slides to the rear. rides like a limo, handles like a dream, no real probs. 168k on the odo.

I purchased my 2016 GMC Terrain SLT in 2018 as a gently used vehicle with only 21,000 miles on it. I never had issues with it. I kept it regularly serviced and had to replace tires. At now over 93,000 it has been a comfortable and very reliable car. The only feature I wished it had was rear air conditioning. Living here in the SE it gets hot and it takes a “minute” to get the back of the vehicle cooled down. However, I rarely have back seat passengers, and thankfully, the really hot weather lasts only a few months! I have been very pleased with this car and would recommend it to others. I traded it in a week ago for a larger car only because I need the room for a grandchild, and my elderly parents.

I think Marin did an excellent job throughout the entire process. He was very quick to reply to my questions I had sent him. He agreed to stay later than normal business hours, due to our arrival time. The truck was pretty tmuch exactly as described, no pressure from him or the other gentlemen that were present. There’s always some sort of risk involved when buying used, and don’t forget that the condition of the vehicles are due to the upkeep or lack of, by the previous owner. Bought the car CPO in summer 2021 with 38k miles. Now being summer 2024 with 90k miles and I’ve mostly had good luck with the car and its components. I have the extended warranty through 100k miles but I feel like all American cars are built to fail after the warranty runs out. Overall great car: I have the 2.0L turbo engine with 9 speed auto and AWD. AWD is great when turned on, grips the road well, and to be honest the 2.0L has a TON of power; way more than you need for a compact SUV! I had a quick issue around 65k miles where the service traction control and stability light came on for 15 minutes. Dismissed itself and haven’t had an issue since. At 75k miles, it was during the winter time, the car would display “park break realized” and “service traction control” when the auto start stop would kick back on (there’s no way to shut off the auto start/stop system). No issues and lights but the messages would pop up and dismiss themselves. Little did I know it was my battery dying and my mechanic said “some wires were loose” and he tightened them up. Haven't had an issue since I got a new battery. Last thing that happens is sometimes when you have Apple CarPlay going and you unplug the phone, the infotainment system will freeze and no Bluetooth, usb, or CarPlay will work for the reming duration of the ride unless you stop the car and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Simply shutting it off and turning it back on never worked. Overall I give this car a good rating for 0-100k miles. I am pleased with the car but looking for something bigger soon. I think I did overpay a bit for it ($30k for 38k miles) since I got it summer of 2021 when new cars were nonexistent!

I have owned 5 of the 2018-19 terrains. I have had the 1.5 gas, 2.0 gas and the 1.6 diesel. The power on the 2.0 is awesome. Mileage on the 1.5 is good. Mileage on the 1.6 diesel is great. I have 336,000 miles on my diesel. It has had lots of issues due to emissions and transmissions. Last week it got a new engine as well. The car is a great car but I would recommend the 1.5 gas for most people. The terrain is comfortable and makes a great work or travel vehicle. Size is easy to park with plenty of leg room.

A little weak on the power side, but, other than that, its a magnificent vehicle. A total work horse. Great on gas. It is totally worth it.

This wasn't the vehicle I'd gone to the lot to see... But it was parked 2 vehicles down, and the price was $3000 cheaper!! It even has more bells and whistles than the Toyota I'd initially planned on getting. Awesomeness!!

Really nice to drive! Extremely comfortable almost like a recliner!! Sturdy and solid! GM had issues with certain years for oil consumption is the only issue. I understand GM is making good on it now! As long as it’s checked over otherwise these are extremely nice cars!!

Great vehicle for traveling. Plenty of room for luggage and a small dog.. Very comfortable, The only thing I don't like are the vertical AC vents. I would like to see them be able to swing wider both horizontally and vertically.Plus my used vehicle had Onstar at one time and I can't cancel it off my car so that my calls always seem to go to Onstar at least once.
