Used GMC cars for sale near Chenango, NY under $50,000

My wife and I were shopping for a car to replace out totaled 2016 Prius V. We headed to Vestal to check out Matthews as they sell a few of the brands that we wanted to try out. We had a great experience with a sales rep at their Mitsubishi / VW dealership even though I didn’t fit into most of the cars we looked at. The salesman we were working with recommended we check out their Kia / Subaru store and called ahead for us. Upon arriving we were immediately greeted by Brian Chadwick and I’m happy to say everything worked out great. I explained what we were looking for and he took us to a bunch of vehicles so we could see how I fit into them. Eventually we test drove a 2020 Subaru Outback even though it wasn’t on our list and we loved it. We went back in and did the preliminary paperwork which was painless. There was no pushiness around the optional extras that they offered. Most importantly the price was very fair without having to do any kind of haggling. When all that we could do with Brian was finished for that evening we were passed onto one of the finance people who was also very nice, and again this was completely straight forward. No backroom sales pitches or any other junk that we’ve run into before. We came back the following Thursday to finish all the paperwork and take delivery of out new Outback. The process was very relaxed and if I can be honest, we left without feeling like we’d gone through what I’d call a normal car buying process. This was so far removed from any experience we’ve had in the past, we will definitely be coming back here the next time we need a replacement vehicle. If you’re looking for a car, I’d recommend the trip to Vestal to check them out and I definitely recommend working with Brian Chadwick.

Any reviews on this vehicle is not correct. We are first owners and it’s been an excellent truck. We hate to see it go !

From the very start of my car shopping in June, 2023, I chose Matthews Planet Pre-Owned on the Vestal Parkway. One of my high school pals, Donna Shelp Fletcher, works there as their title clerk. I contacted her and asked her who I could work with at the dealership to help me find a vehicle. I ended up working with Andy Busch, who was very helpful, patient, and friendly. I really like how they do not pressure you at all. I ended up purchasing a 2020 Chevy Trax. They gave me an excellent trade in for my Volkswagen Beetle. Everyone I came in contact with during this process were fantastic. Prior to buying this vehicle, I had a Volkswagen Beetle which had a recall. I called them, they set up an appt and were very accommodating & friendly. Took care of it with no problem! This past spring, I had an issue with my tire not taking in air at an air pump. I drove it right over to the service center and made it there before they closed. They checked the tire thoroughly. While I was waiting, Jim Morse GM, happened to be walking out into the service area, saw me and was so friendly. He doesn't know me from Adam! He asked if I was being helped so I told him my car was being looked at. He walked right over to them to see how it was going. He didn't have to do that! Then Tim Salisbury, (I believe he's a service mgr), who checked me in to begin with & a truly kind and friendly man,said they wanted to perform a thorough check to make sure nothing was wrong with the tire, so I waited in the Waiting Room, which is very clean & comfortable, has vending machines, and even popcorn, coffee, and water available while you wait. Every employee who walks by smiles and says hello. When my car was finished, Tim came to get me from the waiting room, said everything was good to go and no charge!!!!!!! They really want the best for you. Today I went back again for my NYS inspection. Tim checked me in... Again, so kind. I went to the waiting room. Jim Morse happened to walk by, again not knowing me, had a huge smile and a friendly "Hi! How are you doing?" Tim came out a short while later and said "You're all set!" It passed! I 150% recommend Matthews Planet Pre-Owned for buying a vehicle and for all your auto service needs. Oh, forgot to mention that I also got an oil change a couple months back. Great service, as usual. Who else gives you a card for a free car wash after each service? Just Matthews! They are, in my opinion, the best for all your auto needs! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stong engine and smooth! Highly recommend for familys or someone who likes a smooth truck. Purchased new and have had zero issues since then. Love it!

This truck has a jerk when changing gears sometimes. I enjoy the truck overall easy to handle and comfortable. Drive with ease sight is good when driving.

I purchased a new 2019 SLT with the X1 package. It has the Red Quartz Tintcoat paint. I usually never leave reviews, but honestly this is the most comfortable, nicest loking truck I've owned , and I've ownwd alot of them. The only issues I've had was the brake software was flawed, took it to the dealer on recall and they installed a new software patch, Other then that I love the styling, performance and the interior is very nice. No regrets

Just picked up our new Palisade from Miller's. Anthony Tanzini came in on his day off to make sure everything went smooth and that my wife fully understood all of the features of the car. Top notch service from the sales group, management, finance, etc. Wouldn't shop anywhere else!

2021 GMC sierra 1500, 5.3, crew cab 4x4, 21000 miles. brakepad monitor lites up. dealership says needs brakes and rotors in back. one mo. on warranty. our rural roads dirty up the monitor. Needs new monitor. brakes look great to me. No noises. dealer says parts on order GM strike. Can't replace myself cause of computer...

The car was ready for me to test drive when I got there. After my test drive Ryan took care of all the paperwork for me. I have enjoyed my vehicle. It is comfortable and drives very well. I like the color also. It is very roomy, takes off fast and the safety features are very beneficial.

I recently bought a Toyota RAV4 from Driven and could not be happier with my experience. I bought a 2019 GMC Sierra Elevation. I traded in a FULLY loaded 2015 Sierra SLT, that I was really sad to see go, but the Elevation really sold me on styling and ride quality. I lost a couple high end bells and whistles, but the overall performance and look of the truck make up for it big time!

My truck has a great appearance, inside and out. It is a pleasure to drive; and rides and performs great. It is the best truck I've ever owned.

The only sad moment on my AL travels was that the Battery Died! = three-year warranty one replaced with Auto Center Assistant that KNEW his stuff - all is well - aging vehicle - onto the new one in the future.

I always bought the GMC Acadia (4 times) but decided to try the terrain. I absolutely love it and it's a great car for zipping around in town. I would take it for a weekend trip but not on a long trip as it doesn't have a lot of cab room, but for two people it is fine

I have had this car 5 years 90000 km. No problems so far, it has been exceptionally good. The only money I have spent is gas and oil changes. I. Would buy another one

One of the most attractive looking t cars GMC has ever designed. Looks just like a Lexus. Extremely roomy. Love every aspect of my Terrain.

GMC Diesel Canyon AT4. I've had this truck for a year-11,000 miles. I love it. The Denali and Elevation trim looked like junk. The AT4 can't compete with the Tacoma off road but, It holds it's own off road. The Diesel pulls like a beast and the exhuast brake, on all the moutain passes I drive, is worth it's wieght in Gold. I trailer the max. capacity regularly and it's smooth sailing. I traded in my 2500HD Silverado with the vortec 6.0 for this big, little truck. Best decision I've made in a while. I had this truck on order for 8 months and Gm never accepted the order. I finally found exactly what I ordered, just off the truck that morning that I called. 1300 miles away, I jumped on a plane to go get it. Crying shame GMC discontinued the diesel. The extra $ per gallon right now is easily washed by the increase in mileage, 32+ higway, 19 trallering almost 8000 #'s. I wouldn't want the truck without it. Wouldn't want the Elevation or Denali. Diesel AT4 is the truck. I'll keep it the rest of my life barring accident. I'm sure I can get 40 years out of this truck doing 10-12k a year. The regeneration of the exhaust has never come up but, I only do a little round town driving. Most of my miles are highway and hauling a load. I've heard horror stories about regen. from city folk, commuters... You get what you aim for. If you've given it a lot of thought and the diesel AT4 seems right for you, you won't be disappointed. Good luck finding one. GM - You've a winner here. don't let it get away. Ps. Cars.com doesn't have a choice of how I use this truck for WORK. While I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle due to a last minute deal, the operations manager Brandan Collins who was assisting me was informative, easy to work with, and super friendly. Overall Butler Auto was a great, even if brief, experience.

I purchase a car at Mark's for my daughter and was thrilled with the purchase. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the car a week after I bought it. Rick jumped right in to take care of the issue and make it right. Very happy with his responsiveness and updates along the way. Glad to have the car back and wouldn't hesitate to buy another from Mark's!

I'm 6-4 so I'm looking for a comfortable vehicle that's easy to get in-and-out of plus is high quality. I don't buy new cars and in our 40 years of marriage it's the nicest used car we've purchased.

Friendly staff, great price for the car. There was a far bit of waiting around but with the volume of cars they are shifting on a daily basis, it was kind of expected. From the very short test drive to driving out with my car was around 45 minutes.Would definitely use then again.

I had my 2020 Terrain for 5 years before I had any major issues out of it. My brake booster needed replaced. After about a month of it being out the shop someone hit and totaled it. Very sad day. I love my Terrain

Its a decent car, but on a car frame. I had a GMC Envoy a truck frame SUV and it was so much nicer to sit higher than the sedans and baby SUVs on the road. Doe have nice accelerations and mileage tho.

I recently bought an older Van from them but it's in great shape and has so many possibilities that I couldn't pass it up! i did not expect to get the great fuel mileage that i'm getting with this size truck, and the power is fantastic.

I have owned my Acadia just under one year. It is quiet, stylish, has an easy and very effective infotainment system, owns five star safety and shows every indication of being as reliable as the Yukon I owned for 20 years. This Suv will go to 60 mph in about 6.0 seconds flat. It has 20 inch wheels and tires and will turn better and stop faster than most every Suv. I have front and rear heated seats, cooled seats, a sunroof, memory settings and this is only an SLT. My gas mileage routinely exceeds EPA (with AWD). Driving from Milwaukee to Chicago, I averaged 29.8 MPG at 75 mph. EPA is 26 MPG at 65 mph. I truly LOVE that Car and Driver rates this SUV near the bottom. Better for me. I have the Home Run. The OWNERS of the GMC Acadia rate this SUV higher than Highlander Palisade, Explorer, Telluride and all the rest. Count me among them. FYI, not a GM employee, just a happy customer.
