Purchased new in October 2024. Total miles driven 9,276. Just completed a 4,734.2 mile trip through 9 states. Just a pleasure to drive. My wife and I were on the road 16 days, with only 8 driving days, longest day was 674 miles. Average driving speed was about 72+ miles per hour. Seat comfort was amazing, no discomfort, great considering having 4 back surgeries. Very solid on the road with little or no driving fatigue. Performance was great. Of the total miles, about 500 were in town driving and 300 miles was in 4x4 in a snow storm coming across Northern Texas in April. Average MPG was 26.4 with my best 500mile drive at 33mpg. The diesel engine is very quiet requiring me to check the tach sometimes to be sure I had pressed the off button. Very quiet on the road as well. This is my first diesel and I would highly recommend it. Plenty of power, great fuel economy, quiet and very responsive when you need that quick acceleration. amazingly nimble for a big SUV. The adaptive cruise works great. My previous GMC was a 2009, 6.2L V8 Yukon XL. I drove that one 140K miles over 14 years with nothing but routine maintenance, a great vehicle as well. This was hands down the best car-buying experience I’ve had in all my years. I’ve purchased vehicles from Mercedes, BMW, Acura, Jeep — you name it — and none of them came close to the level of professionalism, honesty, and hospitality I received at Koons GMC in Vienna, VA. The deal they offered was so incredible that I traveled all the way from New Jersey by Amtrak to Virginia. I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first because many dealerships pull bait-and-switch tactics. Her energy was absolutely to the moon. She helped close the best deal I could find anywhere in the NY/NJ/CT tri-state area and the entire DMV region. She offered an unbeatable protection package at a discount, covering dents and mileage, and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. She also respected my time, wrapping up the paperwork quickly since she knew I had a four-hour trip back home. I cannot recommend this dealership enough. He was very detail oriented when it came to telling me what was going on with my vehicle and what needed to be done in order to get it and keep my vehicle it in great working condition. There were some recommendations that were adevised and completed, and they were completed in a timely fashion. He was very professional and proficient when it came to customer service and very detailed oriented.

I purchased to replace a 2017 Tahoe that I loved. Love this vehicle even more. Magnetic ride control, additional safety features the Tahoe did not have are great. Heated steering wheel a great feature. Heated AND cooled seats, will never be without again. Additional power of the Denali 6.2L vs. the 5.3L engine in the Tahoe is impressive. Bose sound system is outstanding.

Looked at more expensive truck with less options, bought the GMC SIERRA AT4 Turbo Diesel 6. I now only put fuel im once a month. And long distance trips are easier due to better fuel economy. One of my best investments ever.
