We were going for their 2019 Yukon Denali to replace a 2008 Tahoe LTZ. We are very pleased with the vehicle. The upgrades are wonderful. Love the cooling seats, the wifi, the HUD and even days after our purchase they have reached out to check on how we were and mailed us a small gift that meant so much. The service we received from Bill Hood was above expectations. We were driving from Texas to Georgia, towing our camper when our trailer break controller failed. The first local dealer we went too couldn’t help us but when we took it to Bill Hood, they took in our F150, spent time diagnosing the problem, and found the issue. We were fortunate that they had a replacement brake controller on hand and replaced it right away to get us back on the road. Thank you to the service department for saving the day!

I bought this after going to the dealer just to look at colors. I had a 2016 Chevy 1500 LTZ that I loved. There was my down payment and took this Denali home. Only 2 options. Paint and moonroof. I thought my chevy with 3.42 gears was quick. This one goes with 3.23's. The ride is great. Fit and finish are perfect. My only complaint is this Bose/Apple play radio is not what the 2016 Bose was.

Waiting for the Refreshed 2022 AT4 was well worth it! With all the manufacturing issues today, building and shipping was slow, but understandable. Love the truck and the features! Fit is perfect and quality is #1. Pricing was too high but all vehicles are running this way. You get what you pay for and this truck is perfect! I have owned many trucks and this by far is the best. The latest features are beyond most other makes and GM has thought this truck through from front to rear.

I drive from Hammond to Ponchatoula (it?s only a 3 mile drive for me) because instead of taking my truck to my local ?big? dealer - I?d rather spend a few extra minutes driving to the Hometown style Ford dealership in Ponchatoula because they take better care of my needs than the larger dealers do!

Any reviews on this vehicle is not correct. We are first owners and it’s been an excellent truck. We hate to see it go !

Great truck to own. The 2023 GMC Sierra Denali with the 6.2L engine delivers excellent power, smooth performance, and a refined driving experience. The ride quality, interior comfort, and overall build quality are outstanding. I have had no issues whatsoever, and it has been a reliable, enjoyable vehicle from day one. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium full-size truck.

Fast friendly, got the deal I wanted. Followed up the next day with a car wash and I was on my way. I plan on using the maintenance department for oil changes in the future.

I purposely waited a couple of months before writing this review because I wanted to see what kind of follow up Rainbow did and I wanted to go through the first service of the truck with their service department. I purchased the Sierra 1500 truck with the small diesel engine in April. It has been a fantastic truck so far and I am getting over 30 mpg on the Causeway. First, it was a pleasure dealing with the salesperson, Rocky Comeaux. She was not pushy, she listened and she answered questions. There were two questions that she did not know the answer to - and instead of making up a response, she asked someone in her department. Having been in sales at one time for 8 years, this was refreshing that a salesperson did not try to "look good" in front of the customer and not look like she did not know what she was doing and made sure my questions were answered correctly. Rocky has followed up with me several times since the purchase to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. Second, I traded in a 2004 Dodge Ram truck with over 360,000 miles with the original motor and transmission. I take care of my vehicles, and longevity of the truck was important to me. As such, the long term warranty options were of interest. Rainbow explained them, and they treated me fair on my trade in. Third, paying for the vehicle was easy and picking it up was seamless. Fourth, I recently brought the truck in for the first oil change and service. The service department was booked for over a week but getting the appointment was easy on the app and I picked up the truck later that day at my convenience. The only hiccup on the service was that the DEF was not refilled. When I brought this to the service department's attention, they immediately apologized and filled it up asap. The service department was very easy to deal with and very friendly. I would highly recommend this dealership. This is my second vehicle I have purchased from them as we have a 2013 GMC Suburban still going strong.

I was traveling through the area and had issues with the car overheating (auxiliary fan was not coming on [faulty relay]). The issue was diagnosed and fixed in a timely manner. I could not be pleased with the empathy which was shown knowing we were stranded and needing to get back on the road. Staci, Mike and David went over and beyond to see that we were fixed and ready for our 12+ hour trip. I am/was so pleased with the work that was performed on the vehicle. I am always looking for individuals like these, who want to make sure they do/did everything they can to make sure the customer is take care of.

I always bought the GMC Acadia (4 times) but decided to try the terrain. I absolutely love it and it's a great car for zipping around in town. I would take it for a weekend trip but not on a long trip as it doesn't have a lot of cab room, but for two people it is fine

To whomever this concerns: There’s a salesman at the Bill Hood Bargain dealership whose actual name I’m not exactly sure of his actual name ..might be Dionte..but to me his name is Saginaw. I went to his dealership interested in a 2013 Lincoln but left a week later with a 2019 Ford Fusion!! I’ve never been given a reason to praise a car salesman I’ve dealt with EVER. However,Saginaw is thee exception. I truly had the best car buying experience that I never thought could exist!! He was extremely attentive and pleasant with phenomenal communication skills. He responded promptly to all my calls & texts and that’s a rare find when dealing with car buying. Also the financing magician Jerrod also deserves a round of applause!! I sure hope both Saginaw and Jarrod get the recognition from their bosses that they deserve. They went above and beyond when they didn’t have to for one customer and spent an extreme amount of time just on me ..that was amazing. Great job guys and yes, when I’m ready years from now to buy another car, I will return to Bill Hood and hope yall are still there to offer yet again your greatly appreciated service!!

GMC Canyon Denali with the 2.7 Duramax diesel is a loaded power house with great fuel economy. 4x4 has a towing capacity of 7000 pounds, the best in class. 31 MPG on the highway! Previously owned a Tacoma but it would not pull our travel trailer with the V-6. Highly recommend the Canyon diesel, if you can find one!

I have owned my Acadia just under one year. It is quiet, stylish, has an easy and very effective infotainment system, owns five star safety and shows every indication of being as reliable as the Yukon I owned for 20 years. This Suv will go to 60 mph in about 6.0 seconds flat. It has 20 inch wheels and tires and will turn better and stop faster than most every Suv. I have front and rear heated seats, cooled seats, a sunroof, memory settings and this is only an SLT. My gas mileage routinely exceeds EPA (with AWD). Driving from Milwaukee to Chicago, I averaged 29.8 MPG at 75 mph. EPA is 26 MPG at 65 mph. I truly LOVE that Car and Driver rates this SUV near the bottom. Better for me. I have the Home Run. The OWNERS of the GMC Acadia rate this SUV higher than Highlander Palisade, Explorer, Telluride and all the rest. Count me among them. FYI, not a GM employee, just a happy customer.

Our salesman, Landon Crane, is new and even didn’t have his business cards yet but he’s gonna go far. He was extremely polite, willing to answer questions and had no problem getting up to ask about an answer he wasn’t certain of. I appreciated he wasn’t pushy, condescending, or fake. He may be young and just getting started but you won’t go wrong by requesting him for your salesman. The young man knows how to give an appropriate handshake on top of all his other positive qualities. From start to finish it was a relaxed buying experience. Give him a call!

This truck is great if your not trying to haul 10k lbs. For every day use it's great on gas and I fit everything I need in the bed.

Our AT4X has been an excellent mid-size truck. The ride is shockingly smooth and the engine has a lot of torque. Wish the interior had less plastic and GM's failure to have a rear view camera mirror or controls for garage/gate contols is inexcusible. Overall, could not be more pleased with this truck.

This wasn't the vehicle I'd gone to the lot to see... But it was parked 2 vehicles down, and the price was $3000 cheaper!! It even has more bells and whistles than the Toyota I'd initially planned on getting. Awesomeness!!

GMC Diesel Canyon AT4. I've had this truck for a year-11,000 miles. I love it. The Denali and Elevation trim looked like junk. The AT4 can't compete with the Tacoma off road but, It holds it's own off road. The Diesel pulls like a beast and the exhuast brake, on all the moutain passes I drive, is worth it's wieght in Gold. I trailer the max. capacity regularly and it's smooth sailing. I traded in my 2500HD Silverado with the vortec 6.0 for this big, little truck. Best decision I've made in a while. I had this truck on order for 8 months and Gm never accepted the order. I finally found exactly what I ordered, just off the truck that morning that I called. 1300 miles away, I jumped on a plane to go get it. Crying shame GMC discontinued the diesel. The extra $ per gallon right now is easily washed by the increase in mileage, 32+ higway, 19 trallering almost 8000 #'s. I wouldn't want the truck without it. Wouldn't want the Elevation or Denali. Diesel AT4 is the truck. I'll keep it the rest of my life barring accident. I'm sure I can get 40 years out of this truck doing 10-12k a year. The regeneration of the exhaust has never come up but, I only do a little round town driving. Most of my miles are highway and hauling a load. I've heard horror stories about regen. from city folk, commuters... You get what you aim for. If you've given it a lot of thought and the diesel AT4 seems right for you, you won't be disappointed. Good luck finding one. GM - You've a winner here. don't let it get away. Ps. Cars.com doesn't have a choice of how I use this truck for WORK. June 5, 2019 my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 AC went out. I contacted Corey the service manager with my problem and was told to bring my truck in June 9. When I arrived at the dealership we were greeted at our vehicle like family. Did not have to wait to be put in a rental since it would take a day to complete the work. The work was completed on time, and the quote that was given to me was right on. The whole service department goes out of their way to please their customers and I will definitely be returning to this dealership in the future.
