THE LITTLE 1.2 DOHC ENGINE IS STRONG BUT MITUSBISHI SHOULD HAVE PUT A STANDARD TURBO ON THIS ENGINE,, THATS WHY MITSUBISHI MADE THE 3A92 MIVEC ENGINE.. HIGHLY DURABLE & STRONG .. NO PROBLEM ON THE HIGHWAY OR THE TAKE OFF FROM A STREET LIGHT. THE TRANSMISSION IS ALSO GOOD.. CVT.. NEVER CRAZY ABOUT CVT ... BUT THIS TRANSMISSION IS OK.. CAR HANDLES IN SNOW.. RAIN,, RUNS WELL.. PERFORMANCE IS THE BEST OF THE SUB COMPACT CARS AND EVEN LARGER 4 D SEDANS,, THE MIRAGE IS ROOMY INSIDE ALSO. IVE HAD 6 FOOT 4 FREINDS IN THE CAR . THEY WERE SHOCKED .. LOL... IVE BEEN OFFERED BY KIA. TO TRADE MINE IN TO THEM.. .. BUT I REALLY LIKE THIS LITTLE CAR.. "" NEBULA"" IS HER NAME. 100K MILE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY.. IVE HIT THE 100K MARK.. JUS HAD A TUNE UP AND NEW TIRES.ITS BEEN PAID OFF SINCE 22..SO IM STUCK RIGHT NOW .. IN WINTER. I JUS WISH THE MIRAGE CAME WITH A STOCK TURBO,, IT WOULD REALLY BE FUN.. IDK IF I WANT A NEWER CAR .. This is the second Chevrolet Sonic that I have owned. I only bought the newer 2019 vehicle because I just loved my 2016 model as well. I would like to find a 2020 in the future, as this was the last year of its manufacturing. I love all the features and how this wonderful vehicle operates and handles the road. It is reliable and good on gas, as well.

I needed a car with an automatic transmission because my knee was getting worse. I had a 2011 Cruze with a manual transmission and liked it but I traded it in for a 2019 Cruze. Going on six years now and I don't want another vehicle. Reliable? Very. I don't drive like a maniac and I keep up with maintenance. My usb port went kaput but I replaced it myself. My phone would not connect to the infotainment system. I fixed that by removing the fuse to the radio while it was on then turning off the car and then plugging it back in. It rebooted the system. I garage my Cruze and watch where I park it, so no dents anywhere. I intend to keep this car for as long as possible.

Keep in mind this rating is for a small gas fuel efficient economy car, it's way more than expected and for 2 years has not diminished my opinion at all. Good reliable car. Here in New England I have seen models from 2013 and newer still driven all over and even the prior avio models on the road too. BSic maintenance keeps them together. It is a good car!

No expectation of buying a car. I stopped in just to look. My wife and I had been discussing getting a newer car but had issues getting a loan. This was about the 6th dealership we had looked at in a week and only did so because a friend had recently bought his car there. I was so glad we did, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We were able to get a car that day with very little down. The payment was a little higher than I hoped but this was the first real offer we had. We had to have our air condition fixed in our 2018 Ford Explorer recently. The staff at Tipton Ford were so kind and informative. They found the root of the problem, ordered the parts which came right away, and since we are a one car family gave us a ride home and picked us up when our explorer was finished! Love my KIA SOUL; wish it was Brand New. At my age It would be my best performance car in life.. I will never drive nothin else.. It is perfect in most all ways as for the performance concern.. I have a 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo 6 speed manual. Bought brand new and still own as of this review in 2025. I love the way the car looks. It actually has a design and doesn't just look like a wedge ( like a lot of hatchbacks do ). I currently have 97,000 miles on it with no problems to report. Just routine maintenance. Best advice is to replace the standard Hankook tires for some Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S. It is a day and night difference. Really wakes up the car in the handling department. I would highly recommend this model.

I had a good experience shopping and buying with Brad. I called ahead and the car I was interested in was ready to test drive. When I requested a time I could take it to my mechanic Brad was very accommodating. Fritz promptly fixed some broken sensors as agreed before the sale. Very satisfied.

I daily the prius C 2 and it's just the perfect car. It's small and light enough to just zip through traffic and the instant torque from the electric engine can get you where you need to go quick. The handling is tight and responsive and the wheel is nice and smooth. Nimble, light, and forgiving is how I would describe the drive feel. The car can fit quite a bit of cargo for its size if the seats are folded down. I moved all of my stuff cross country in it and honesty could have fit more than I brougt. Otherwise, it can comfortably move 3 passengers + driver without much issue. The only thing it can't do is haul a bunch of luggage and people at the same time. When you baby it, you'll get mpg near 50, so fuel costs are a nonissue. It's never broken down and never had any issues that weren't my fault. It's the perfect car and I would recommend it to anyone who was open minded about driving a small car.

So far this 2019 Cruze I just bought 2 weeks ago, everything is great , nice body style, great on gas, I had a 2007 Chev Cobalt that my brother bought from me ,that has more pickup cause of it being a larger engine 2.2, but thats the only difference. I have always owned GM, I tried out a 2020 Elandtra andv the quality is much better with the Cruze. My brother will probably have the 2007 Cobalt for a while since it has only 166470km on it These cares are fantastic Cruze or Cobalt and would recommend either to anyone, but get it Crown sprayed on the bottom cause these cars are all bad for rocker panel rotting out. If you Oil yearly, these cars will last for yearsand I mean 15-20 plus years if taken care of

I love the car. Bought it new. 104K miles. Super reliable. Only downside is a/c can be troublesome and mileage is subpar for being so small. I only get 23/23 mpg in normal commuting. Very fun to drive. Tons of space. Very nimble.

Great overall little commuter hatchback. We got ours a few years old with low mileage due to the options we wanted. The other reviews are kind of silly on here, complaining about a car due to lack of options selected by the buyer. Yes it wont have heated seats if you dont get the heated seat models lol. Our model is the EX, it has a sunroof, blind mirror indicator, heated seats, and a manual 6 speed transmission. Basically all features any high end model could use, I dont like leather seats due to the degradation long term. Just make sure you avoid the CVT transmission. Our area would not offer manual 6 speed on the high end trim so we had to travel out of state to get ours. Few mods added to the car to make it even better: - bi-led projector retrofit on headlights - led bulbs all around, plates, interior. - auto dim rear view mirror (easy wire in) - front facing dash cam - sirius satellite radio - winter aluminum rims (instead of steelies), summer has factory 17" aluminum black/silver combo - towing hitch (bike carrier) -- vehicle rated at 2000 lbs Overall its been very reliable, super practical with the folding seats. It gets excellent fuel efficiency and fits everywhere. Power wise, its very snappy given with a manual transmission you can control it a lot better than the sloppy CVT. The manual does 0-60mph in 8 seconds or less, which is very fast for a little car. Its not a tesla or a GTR with 130hp but its plenty for its 36-40 mpg. One issue ours had was the starter went out really early, but it was an easy change out, its a known issue. The seats are not very comfortable for long trips but thats because they are so small and its a commuter car. The cam gear also can get noisy on these at start up, so they will rattle but has no impact to performance. We have just over 100k miles on ours and its a very strong little car, will be getting another one of the final production year as this one gets higher in mileage. Again get the manual 6, you will not regret it, honda manual cars are semi automatic, the clutch is like a feather vs. a subaru for example. Totally worth it.

Bought used @ 8 yrs old. Very satisfied for retiree use and care. Great mileage. Some paint issues with rust on rear tire wells. It's Michigan winters & no garage.

I love my car!! It’s fun to drive and gets great gas mileage. I have had it for 9 years and I have only had to replace a battery and get new tires! It’s a 5 speed, which I love! The only drawback is my husband is 6’1 so it’s kind of small for him, so no long road trips in my car! lol! But I am 5’2 and it’s a perfect fit. We are moving to Vermont and keeps telling me I need to trade it in for a 4wd, especially for snow and mud season. I just really do not want to give up my little car. I do want to buy a new Ford Bronco, so hoping since my Fiesta is paid off I can have both. It can be my summer car!! I have always had Ford Vehicles they never let me down!!

Purchased a used 2018 with 35K miles in 2023. I now have 75K miles as it's a commuter car, about 90 miles a day. I average almost 41 mpg going from Pueblo to Colorado Springs and back. The CVT was a bit suspect when I first got it, but I think the driving has corrected the 3rd gear delay. The CVT is hands down better than my Altima. One year that car was gone, total junk.

I have bought many cars in my life, and this is the best experience I have ever had. I was looking for a higher mileage but nice car for my wife, and found just what I wanted on this lot. The car was in much nicer condition than you would expect for a 2013. When I went to drive it I found out it had new tires, brakes and struts, which was not in the original description. These folks know customer service! It was certainly worth the 45 minute drive to buy this car.

I have a 2010, 2011, 2021 Kia Soul. I think that says enough. Having a car last with minor repairs and 400,000 miles. Says something for the Kia.

Thought I needed new brakes. That was not the case. It was only a rock that was stuck in the wheel making the noise. Appreciated the honesty.

I love my 2019 Chevrolet Sonic LT/RS. I would not own any other car. I am saddened that it was discontinued, so very, very disappointed.
