I bought my golf new at the end of 2016 and would have kept it much longer if it had not been totaled in an accident. The few little issues I had were covered under the initial warranty (coolant leak, trunk leak). Nothing else other than normal maintenance things like brakes and tires up to 81,000 - that's as far as I can speak to. I took good care of it, did the VW service things for the most part and I have no doubt it would have lasted to 200K or beyond. It looked cool and was fun to drive. I had the S manual. I enjoy driving and had a tiny regret about not getting the Wolfsburg edition (faster engine, slightly better options like heated seats and sun/moon roof).

Love my KIA SOUL; wish it was Brand New. At my age It would be my best performance car in life.. I will never drive nothin else.. It is perfect in most all ways as for the performance concern.. We’ve been looking for a jeep gladiator for the past 2 months without any success. We tried staying local but no one wanted to deal so we expanded are search discovering Miracle Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. Great buying experience with affordable prices that don’t break the bank. Purchased a former Enterprise rental Carolla with 60K on the odometer. Overall it meets all the buzz about Toyota reliability. Other than a Battery and oil changes it's been good to me. Occasionally drive it as an Uber and it gives good service.. you actually earn money instead of putting all your earnings back into the tank. The only issues I hate is the low front end that occasionally scrapes the asphalt coming in and out of steep driveways and dips in Oklahoma roads.. and the main console is finiky connecting with my phone in Android auto.

Its been more reliable than anything I’ve owned so far . Not very comfortable at times ! the steering wheels a little cold in the winter but its not the luxury model . The manual transmisions smooth shifting is perfect 5 speed to get you down the road!

This is a terrific car for someone who wants a reliable, economical car that's great in snow and ice, and gets excellent gas milage. To help maximize your mpg just watch the dashboard meter that tells you when you're getting the best mpg possible. If you're not (like the reviewer who said he got only 18 mpg) then you're driving too fast and you can't blame the car for that! I love my Subaru!

I own the most bear bones version and it works like a charm, with the manual 30mpg is easily achievable. Steering at low speeds feels like you are the car. Pedals are responsive and the suspension can handle just about anything. Highly recommended for a cheap daily.

I love my car. 5 speed with 20k miles. Ive put on another 100k. I have taken this little AWD car places most people dont drive their 4x4’s. But I am meticulous about maintenance. I’ve never had a single issue with anything other than a thermostat replacement and A/C recharge. With the manual I don’t have to worry about a crap cvt. The first clutch lasted 118,000 miles. The only issue was the trust bearing, the clutch was still good. You cant beat a manual AWD that gets 30+ mpg IMO. Take care of the car and it will take care of you.

Had mine since new 88,000 fun miles on it. superby reliable. Fantastic handling, comfort for long long long drive 6 hours, and great MPG...super quick, it really does everything excellently. Out of 17+ VWs since 1987 this is the best one yet...fun personified, tracks at speed perfectly, solid grip in all weather conditions. Solid, tight, really well done car. Interior layout is ergonomic excellence. of course 6 speed manual, it's best, control and in connection with the drive.

Bought it new in 2017 because I wanted a small car that didn’t crumple in an accident. Well it didn’t. Had a major accident and it was totaled. Hit by a much larger truck combined front and driver side collision, went airborne over 2/3 lanes, knocked down utility poles and stopped. I crawled out the drivers door with only bumps and bruises. I am 76ers old. Nothing in the car touched me, except the airbags. The medics didn’t believe me. (I am an RN). I am so grateful that it did it’s job by saving my life. So, I Bought another FIT. The driver’s seat is uncomfortable on a long trip and it takes a few seconds to get in gear. That’s all I have for negatives.

Our Pilot died on the turnpike near West Chester/Downington on our way home from Atlantic City to Pittsburgh. Not knowing what to do, I called the closest Honda dealer, Reedman Toll. I spoke with Chris and being that it was about lunchtime, wasn't sure if he could even take a look at it. We had it towed there and not only were they able to take a look at it, they installed a new alternator and discovered that our timing belt was about to go any minute and Chris and the mechanics were generous enough to stay a little late and were able to replace that too! We were able to get back on the road and make it home the same day! I can't say enough good things about Chris and the mechanics that helped out out of a bind!! If I lived in the area, I would service my vehicle there all the time. Fantastic customer service, please give that guy a raise! Thank you again!

Ford had a great idea in the C-Max hybrid. So many places we travel don’t have the plug ins for electric. We have many trips with 40+ to 50 mpg. Ford missed the mark when they discontinued manufacturing the C-Max. Bring back the car and make us look toward the future !

I can highly recommend this car. I bought it because I felt AWD was essential for me in the winters, but mostly because I wanted a wagon or hatchback with a manual transmission and AWD. Turns out the options are limited but I found a decent used 2016 Sport Limited at the second dealership I stopped at, and took it for a test drive on the spot. I have been more than satisfied. In my opinion the handling is amazing, it handles like a go cart in corners, i can throw it into corners at much higher speeds than I ever expected. It never hiccups. I have barely ever been able to even get the thing to the edge of the traction, when it does start to break loose it is very neutral, with a slight tendency to oversteer, never a hint of losing control. I have never had the brakes overheat or fade, even on 20 miles blasts down winding country roads at 70-90mph. It really amazes me. I never guessed the steering was electric either. The shift is nice and feels solid, but easy to use, I have never missed a gear yet. I r the sound of the boxer engine to, nice and throaty. Lots of room inside, seats are comfy and you can adjust drivers ride height. It has a timing chain instead of a belt, so no worries about that. The only complaints I have are that it lacks power and it needs a 6th gear. You can reach high enough speeds, and maintain them, but if you let it slow down, it really lacks the power to get it back up again. It is fine at low speeds, quite peppy, but for passing on highways it can be very difficult to find safe spaces to pass, and you have to downshift on hills. It also is geared quite low, so at 80mph the tach is sitting above 3,000rpm, which made me uncomfortable until I got used to it, and doesn't help fuel economy at all. It also struggles to get over about 110mph, although as always, it tracks straight and smooth and feels perfectly safe and comfortable at triple digits, even in the hill country (around here even the interstate is not straight). Except the engine up to about 4500 or 5000 rpm at those speeds. At a mere 80 it just eats it up without a murmur. The road noise is also quite loud and it seems harsh on bumps compared to some cars, though that seems to be mostly c in the 17inch wheels and relatively low profile tires. The speakers are only decent. The only other thing that comes to mind is the engine temp light that comes on to warn you that the engine is not up to operating temp yet(I guess they understand that most Subarus are bought for winter drivers). It is a bright blue light the exact same color as a high beam indicator light, which is very distracting when you start out driving at night, because you constantly think your high beams are on. I am very tempted to mask it off entirely. Oh and it has hill start assist which is nice and works pretty well, but you can disable it with only minor annoyance (if you don't mind an orange warning light being on permanently). I shut mine off because I was more used to not having one, and the first couple times I stopped at a light and took my foot off the brake thinking I was on level ground, only to have the car start rolling slowly after the hill stop disengaged after 2 seconds turned me off on it. I would rather know instantly if my car is going to roll, before I get distracted changing the song.

I had been looking for a pre-owned car online for some time. Found a car at Frederick I was interested in getting more information about a possible purchase. Great drivability! Great room! Unfortunately, not confident in expertise at service center for plug in hybrid issues. No one has seen enough issues to understand how they can malfunction... they are totally dependent on computer codes and what the manual says.... haven’t really studied the tecnology and engineering enough to be able to anticipate and or respond to technical questions and circumstances.... sales people are completely oblivious to the technology!!! Cannot answer simple engineering questions about car! Service department seems only modestly more experienced, and have no passion or desire to really know or understand.... so their ability to inform and guide the customer is basically non existent. They call “ experts” elsewhere in the country... don’t appear to care to become experts themselves. This means that the customer has little to no confidence that their car is actually going to be fixed properly because they are completely reliant on manual and mechanics located elsewhere to solve issues.... fully expect that any upcoming repairs will be “ out of the box” repairs.... computer says that EGR valve is malfunctioning, so it needs a new one! When all it needs is a vacuum hose reconnected.... or something down these lines. This is really bad that the customer will need to understand their own car better than dealership mechanics, and will mean that extremely expensive parts will be seen as the solution to “ fixing” the oroblem...eg, I won’t be surprised if we own the vehicle for 10 plus years, that a new computer control module will be found to be needed because the code said it was malfunctioning.... when a small gasket waterproofing the compartment has failed and causes it to work improperly when it wet outside... The customer is left feeling uncared about, or cared for... and that Toyota hires fundamentally unprofessional or lazy service mechanics, and dont properly expect expertise or mastery about their products...
