I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

This was my first ever car and it was the best first car you could ask for! I had it for years and had virtually no issues until the very end and that’s after many cold Manitoba nights (always started even when I forgot to plug in). My car finally died after nearly making it to 500k!

I was looking for a VERY specific car [New 2017 or 2018 SUMMIT WHITE CHEVY MALIBU PREMIER WITH BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR, EQUIPPED WITH THE SUN & WHEEL PACKAGE]. Granted I had to drive an hour and a half to get there, but it was well worth the trip! Plus the car came equipped with a few extras that I didn't ask for. "i didn't know Mitsubishi made an electric car" is the comment I hear most when showing this car to people. If you're looking for a fun driving, dependable in town vehicle, test drive this car. I have "owned" my car since February 2013. It's a 2012, ES model. Mitsubishi significantly reduced the price of the 2014 compared to the 2012. A 2013 model was not produced for the United States market. The battery pack, motor and controller are all the same from 2012 to 2014. The body is also exactly the same. The 2014 ES model includes many of the features that were additional price options on the 2012 ES or the higher priced SE model. For example, the DC/DC quick charger is now included with the base price. The 2014 comes with a dual amperage, EVSE. This is the electric cord used to charge the car. It plugs into a standard 120 volt outlet and can charge the car at either 8 or 12 amps. Many electric car owners also install a 240 volt (level2) EVSE at their house. Over the past 12000 miles the only service I have done with the car is putting air in the tires and water in the windshield washer dispenser. With the battery pack sitting under the passenger compartment, the low center of gravity makes driving this car feel like a sports car. The car seats four adults and has additional storage behind the rear seats. My car is on a two year lease that expires in February, 2015.

My previous car was a 2014 Prius. The 2018 has added safety features which are very valuable, & has even better mileage, and a very smooth drive --handles well. However, there is less trunk & glove box space, & it is more complicated to work some of the features, such as setting the clock. On the 2014, all I had to do was press the hr & min buttons. On the 2018, I had to watch a youtube a few times, & then it took me a few tries to reset the clock.

This is the second Soul I've owned. The first one was a 2022 LX model and had some problems with the idle stop/start feature. It took 5 trips to the dealer before the issue was resolved. The 2024 LX model I recently purchased is roomy and has a number of standard features that are extra-cost on most other vehicles. The engine provides a lot of pep considering it's only 2.0 liter and non-turbo. The ride is a bit rough--not sure if that's inherent with the car or due to the lousy roads where I live. At any rate, I'm a very satisfied customer!

We love the prius after owning a 2007 model. The 2015 is a step up and we got it at a good price for low mileage to hold us until plug-in mile range improves.

I just retired and got my XLE 7 months ago. I was lucky to get it. Someone else decided to pass on it. I have some upgrades like the 12 inch screen and glass top. I would have never purchased a Pruis before this new model. So far, I absolutely love it. I don’t drive it like a sports car, so I am getting 53.5 to 54,5 mpg. It is amazing to spend $12 dollars on gas every two weeks instead of $30 to $40 every week like I use to. I really love the design. I have cutting edge silver. It isn’t quite as luxurious as other cars I have had but that wasn’t why I purchased it. I think it can last me the rest of my life.

Bought the 2012 Veloster shortly after its introduction. It has all of the trim options available, though I never learned to use them. This car has had a lot of pesky recalls, but that is like a lot of vehicles. There have been NO problems for my car, except for an inexpensive part repair in the steering column at about 90K miles. I bought this car because of 1) the great m.p.g., 2) the sporty appearance, and 3) to more easily navigate city traffic. My only complaints are: 1) the seats are not well-padded nor provide lumbar support, but they hold you great when zipping around sharp curves in the mountains, 2) it sits so low to the ground (as sporty cars do), which make it difficult for a tall and older person to get in and out. Those who desire a lot of power would probably be disappointed.
