I bought my Black 2008 Saturn Astra XR about a year and a half ago.... With 74,000 miles!.. I threw some 18 staggered wheels....With that being said... Since then I've gone down hill financially... And as a result... I haven't been able to keep up the maintenance... And even though I've driven it over 20,000 miles WITHOUT a tune up... NEVER A PROBLEM! Although it's not running it's best... Not the car's fault... LOVE the performance (Although it could use more power) I LOVE MY SATURN XR

Have put about 12,000 miles on a used 94ah Rex over the past year. It's a unique little car to be sure, with some substantial upsides and downsides. First the good stuff: It's a fantastic city / mall / school drop off / tight quarters car. Very quick under 50 mph, turning radius of a bike, only a bit larger footprint than a Mini. Just a fun little car to zip around in. The interior fits 4 pretty comfortably, and it's a pretty open, airy feeling despite being so small. Not cramped at all. I really like the styling as well, and it's on the cheap end of cars we've owned over the past 15 years. It's been pretty reliable for the most part, but the Rex does not seem to like to sit for long periods without use. It threw codes several times during the first couple months, all of which cleared and did not immediately recur. I believe it sat at the dealer for many months prior to me purchasing it. After that initial spat of codes, it's worked flawlessly. Range is fine for around town, I would not attempt long distance travel, though you COULD do it. I have always charged it at home, with a level-2 charger I installed myself. Electricity is about 1/4-1/3 the cost of gas under this setup, so it's very efficient. Now the not so good: The rear tires burn up fast, are unique to the car (no other car uses the same tire size), are kind of expensive, and honestly, the traction isn't great. Plan on replacing tires every 12-15k miles, if you make it that far. It's particularly bad in the snow. There's no way to reduce the lift off regen, so it will drag its rear end. You end up left foot braking when it's really slick to make sure you engage the ABS. Do not plan on this being your snow car. The range also goes down significantly in the winter. It'll do >100 miles of around town driving in the summer months, but that's more like 60-70 when it gets cold. Has to run the heat pump, heat the battery, etc. It's only got 4 seats (2 in back). A tiny middle seat probably makes more sense, though it would only be for small children. The BMW connected app subscription is basically a requirement to connect to your utility and get credit for charging off peak (if it's available in your region). It's $120 a year, which is typical German luxury xx. The Odd: The exterior is...different. It sure does attract attention. I guess to each his or her own. Rear suicide doors work pretty well, but they come with a bit of a learning curve. At least people can get in back without front passengers having to get out or bend over. It has a scooter engine, and it sounds like it too! My take: It's a great 3rd car for a family that does a lot of pick up / drop off, grocery-getting, commuting, etc. in a relatively small radius (say 20 miles max, each way). Under that setup, it's very cheap to run, it's fun to drive, it fits everywhere, and it's a nice place to spend time. As the only household car, forget it. As the 2nd car in a 2-car household? Only if you don't spend a ton of time in freezing weather / snow. But in a household where it competes with an M2, an Odyssey and a Cayenne, I put more miles on the i3 than any of the other cars over the past year. So I clearly like the darn thing! Other Recommendation: Get bimmercode app and code on a function that allows you to manually start the Rex at any time the battery is under 75%. Waiting til it hits 6% to turn on automatically isn't going to run it often enough to keep it happy. You don't want to run the battery that empty very often either.

Shaky experience. Very slow response and lack of communication from my service rep, but the service manager ensured that it was a pleasant experience. All of the employees were pleasant and professional.

I have a 2017 EV and it I staying to turn off the car and check the brakes but the brakes are fine. It's seems there is no way to turn of this warning or drive the car. The car has been down and even the dealer doesn't know what it is... electric cars make it harder to isolate the problem.

Bought it used. Great car, reliable. Really fuel efficient and has good traction. I wish it had an additional 6inches of ground clearance and a 2.2liter engine.

Great car drive and also great to haul just about anything Small to mid sized since the back seats fold all the way down. And it gets good Gas MPG as well.

One of best driving cars I've owned. The gas mileage is amazing I went from gassing up weekly to once a month, The basic equipment is plenty.

I’ve had over 30 cars in my lifetime. Mostly BMW, Honda and Lexus. My first EV purchase was my 2016 Spark EV two years ago. It was ugly and felt cheaply made when I first saw it and sat in it. My first drive out of the dealership, I pushed hard on the accelerator and it literally burned rubber harder than my old BMW M3. I was sold on it , ugliness and cheaply made (now spelled economically built). Now, it’s 2022 and gas is $6.50 per gallon and I am thankful that I purchased this EV. Never had to replace anything except two tires and a window regulator. Now, these Spark EVs are selling for $4000 more than what I paid. So, if you need an around town car and don’t want to pay $6.50 gas, go and get one of these

I've been a BMW fan since the 1980s and wanted to go electric at an affordable price. I recently purchased a 2017 ReX with 25k miles in excellent condition. So far, it's proving a great solution for my needs. I've been able to charge using only the 110 outlet supplied and have only had to use the gasoline motor a few times. My only issue is limited rear storage, but since I seldom have back seat passengers that roomy area provides plenty of extra carrying space. Warning: tires (especially on the rear) wear out quickly, with the only option expensive. I replaced all four when I bought the car, although I could have just gotten by with the rears (no front to back rotation is possible. At first glance, the exterior appearance seems weird, but I've gotten used to it. And I love the roomy, simple interior.

My husband & I, both in our mid-seventies, recently purchased a 2025 Mini Cooper. Its technology systems are far, far more sophisticated than what was available on the 2016 Mini we traded in. When we saw that a software update was available we tried to figure out how to go about accomplishing that update, but found outselves stuck. I've not driven it yet, but we investigated everything from the variable valve system to the turbo charger and watched a video of a complete teardown of the engine. This car feels very neutral and smooth in corners at any speed. Sometimes, it feels like it's too easy to go too fast in this because the grip is so confidence-inspiring. I have the non-turbocharged model, which has plenty of giddy up to it. I'm not sure if I regret choosing it over a turbocharged variant but there's plenty of power for my needs. The gearing is pretty tall and you need to plant your foot to let it rev out and find the right gear, but doing so is rewarded with a very responsive and surprisingly smooth engine for being a 4 cylinder. I was feathery on the gas at first, so it was underwhelming but I adjusted to the inputs. The car feels plenty sporty and the grip makes cornering feel amazing. The rear suspension is torsion beam and you will notice it on very poor roads, but everyday driving on decent roads feels super refined, quiet and grip is not affected by this suspension arrangement. I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm 6'3" and fit pretty comfortably in the car even with the sunroof right above me. I've been in cars with more front legroom and have been less comfortable than I am in this car. Seat bolstering could be an issue for those with wider shoulders. I'm someone who loves a low driving position, so this car is a godsend in a world of soulless, blobby SUVs. I think this is the best all-around compact car you can get.

A one owner, Arizona car with 47,860 original miles. Always serviced at Tesla in Scottsdale. The car is great fun to drive, as it's very quick, handles nicely and it's very dependable. About 160 mile range which is perfect for running around town. The navigation system is the best I've ever seen. Super easy to use and very accurate. Operating cost is very low compared to a car powered by a gas engine. I love the car and we're getting a new one.

This 2013 c-max hybrid has absolutely stood the test of time , unexpectedly driving excessive miles daily for years without having any mechanical problems, we did replace worn tires and always kept up with the recommended sevice maintenance by Ford. I am really impressed by this lil car. Now being sold to continue driving a hybrid car. I defiantly would recommend the c-max.
