This is a surprisingly fun car. We bought it mainly to not feel guilty running the AC in car line - but got to appreciate it in various situation. The range isn't great, the flimsy tires need getting used to - but for what a used (ideally certified pre-owned) one goes for - I really don't think you can go wrong. Unless you live in a city and have good places to charge - it probably is not a suitable car as your only car - but it's a great addition if you don't depend on it for a 300 mile drive. Accelerations is fun, the car is a lot bigger inside than it looks. It has a little bit of a theme park ride feel to it at times.

Before purchase, I did extensive research on this vehicle bc it was it was as close to a Mini Countryman in design as I could find. I am completely satisfied & never regretted after many miles & years. I am forever amazed at how well it is designed for comfort & ease of repairs. It contains more standard options than most and more than some expensive top of the line brands. After 9 years behind the wheel of this 2014 plus, I can only desire two faults that I'd improve, and that's the sides of the hood get dented very easily & the steering "feel" is very dead and unresponsive

Love the vehicle just wish because we decided to have a plug-in hybrid that we didn't have to give up so much trunk/cargo space. Right now also having a transmission issue but the vehicle does have over 200,000 miles on it and it is 12 years old. Still would buy it again.

John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

A straight forward economy car to save money but it is very comfortable and fun to drive because it's so light. The gas savings at almost 50mpg are amazing.

The only problem I'm having with this car the power windows on the driver side and the passenger side in the windshield washer motor I'm not are not working properly otherwise the car works very well and drives well and I have no other problems

Bought this new, never had any major issues mechanically. I take care to give it regular oil changes with synthetic. The nav has gotten laggy so I don't bother with it anymore and stick with my phone. I've also noticed the TPMS sensors seem more sensitive lately, so it annoyingly warns me about low tire pressure, even when it's not that bad yet. This blocks the screen telling me avg. mpg, so I have to fill it up I can't just ignore it for awhile. Other than that I still love driving it, it's quick enough for me and fun to drive around town. I was expecting to change cars much early especially with the warranty now over, but I'm going to stick with it for a few more years.

I drive around town most days and love the idea of not using as much gas. I drive older volvo's that I love for many reasons but they are aging and certainly not good on gas. I like the idea of full EV cars but the cost is very high and range for me (I take a lot of 200-300 mile road trips) makes it more complicated along with the expense of charging stations or installing upgraded home chargers. I bought a used Volt with 50k miles and it honestly is a pretty awesome car. I can drive around town almost purely on electric, just plug in at night to a standard outlet. And barring me going on a road trip a tank of gas a month maybe less. (8 gallons to fill up!!!!) I love the heated seats and wheel. The interior layout is great and its a very quiet car. It's quick around town and holds its own on the freeway. Are the seats volvo comfortable? NO, but they aren't bad at all in the leather premier trim. Is the back seat huge not really but if you are less than 6' it should be fine. The bose sound system is GREAT. All the safety features are nice. Back up camera, front and rear sensors, lane keep, adaptive cruise, etc.... It took a week or so to get used to how to drive it in EV and maximize my range. I can now get around 55-60 miles in town. I would say to read the manual for sure, the climate controls are situated to save electricity so there is no A/C on or off button and I had to read up on how it works. I got the hang of it once I took the time to understand what did what. The Chevy Volt forum is a wealth of knowledge as well, and that really made it easy to learn how the car works. Apart from slight learning curve it is an excellent car you can easily run in EV only if it suits your situation. Long trips are no problem I can get 42 mpg on the freeway usually and no down time to charge at stations along the way. This is a great car to bridge the gap between full gas and full electric and given the price to purchase it almost makes sense not to own one. I LOVE IT.

I bought my 2015 Nissan Versa Note in 2017 Certified Pre Owned with 35,000 miles on it. Now it has 80,000 trouble free miles on it. Aside from routine maintenance all I needed was sway bar links at 70,000 mi. Roomy, economical and comfortable. It may I interest everyone to know the transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles. It's $240 to have it done by the dealer. Small price to pay for reliability.

I own a Kia Soul 2016 has currently 62,000 miles ,purchased it with 23,000 miles on it.So far its been a fantastic car. No maintenance issues. Keep up with all the recommended maintenance and I'm sure your have a long time vehicle.

First of all, I am a stick guy. I bought a 5 speed 2021 Spark, I prefer shifting and have been for over 50 years. I get 40+mpg most of the time. I am 68, and our family has full sized pickup, full size SUV and other vehicles. So not my only car, but the most fuel efficient. It is the one I want to take especially when driving alone. I pull trailers with other vehicles, but am very pleased this small car is so efficient and even with a small 4 cyl and reviews of underpowered, when you know how to use the manual transmission, it can have plenty of passing power. I am an engineer and understand, a simple fuel efficient car is not going to accelerate like a muscle car, and don’t expect it to!

I bought my 2013 Elantra GT new. It was my very first Hyundai car. My passengers were always impressed by the quality build and handsome interior and technology. My only gripe was the 1.8Nu engine. It seemed weak at times. 3 adults and some luggage in the trunk made it sluggish when quick acceleration was needed. If it was just me it was adequate but never quick. I kept it 3 years and put 90,000 trouble free miles on it. Very reliable and good fuel economy. Never had any rattles like so many cars do by 90K. I understand the 2014 got a more powerful engine. But I would recommend this car to anyone needing a reliable used vehicle.
