Jimbo. -Updating my Review! Bought my 2005 Xa with 159k miles. - I just crossed 190k! NEVER an Engine Light... Yet. I do use the Basic FIXED OBT2 and Blue Driver OBT2. No Codes on them either. Using Mobile One Syn, Royal Purple... 5w-30w and best filters to match at 7k intervals. Oil is still "honey-colored" after 7k. Good Air filters too. Getting the brakes checked tomorrow. No issues... just a rear brake creaking. That's the only issue I have to this point. STILL... NO OIL USEAGE between oil changes. No Coolant added since Fluid replace at 159k. Averaging 37.2 MPG on 75% Highway Driving. Scion rated 32/37 Originally. I am using Non-Ethanol Fuel however. I love this car! Hitting a deer and getting only a thousand bucks in value does worry me. I love this little Scion Bug... more than my wife!!! -More Reliable!

I wanted four doors so I traded my 428 for this 440 gran coupe...it looks great, handles very nicely and with the inline six it really has some giddy up! The six while it of course isn’t quite as fuel efficient as the four, really sounds much more substantial and performs vastly better. I purchased a 2019 as I prefer not to buy brand new, but with 18k on it, the car feels brand new. Only had it a few weeks but I’m loving it!

This car was purchased as a gift for my son to use to travel to his job out of town. He has a lease and I didn’t want him to rack up miles on his other car/lease. As a previous Prius owner, I know he would love another Prius to use daily. After this reliable vehicle is paid off, I plan to buy one for my other son and then a new one for myself! This car has all of the bells and whistles, burlwood trim, logo embossed seats - true luxury on the inside.. you would never know it is a 2010. Drives and handles like a sports car, but with space for the kids ( or adults !) in the back seat.

We answered a Craigslist ad. The price was so good we didn’t believe it was a real ad. We went to see the car, Charlie was our salesman. We weren’t sure so we left, no pressure. We took a second look, easily agreed on a deal and left a deposit. We came back to pick up the car and the price we agreed on was the final price! I expected documentation fees, all those fees most dealers try to add. We were finished in about 10 minutes, I expected an hour or more. So we started out happy and remain happy, love the car. There will be something with any used car but everything was clearly disclosed, no surprises. All of the staff were very friendly and Charlie was a great salesman. It was the best experience and we will be back, and tell our friends of course.

I bought my golf new at the end of 2016 and would have kept it much longer if it had not been totaled in an accident. The few little issues I had were covered under the initial warranty (coolant leak, trunk leak). Nothing else other than normal maintenance things like brakes and tires up to 81,000 - that's as far as I can speak to. I took good care of it, did the VW service things for the most part and I have no doubt it would have lasted to 200K or beyond. It looked cool and was fun to drive. I had the S manual. I enjoy driving and had a tiny regret about not getting the Wolfsburg edition (faster engine, slightly better options like heated seats and sun/moon roof).

I called and talked with Steve. Ten days later I went and checked out the car in question. It looks like I will be "pulling the trigger" and buy. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind. A true pleasure to deal with him. A "gentleman and a scholar"! I'll be back.

I'm 6'8". Its hard to find cars I fit in period. That being said. I have a taste for small rockets. And the (GQ) fiat 500 sport I have fits the bill. Basically an abarth motor. But not the handling or cool badges/interior. None the less. My big butt fits in it. Got to crank the seat way back. But it's just me in there most of the time. Its a fun little car that rips corners and stupid fun turbo pulls in 2nd and 3rd gear. Watch that esc light flash. Good fun. And the price for a used one ain't bad. Digging the 500

Is it pretty? No. Does it drive fast? No. Is it a chick magnet? Certainly not. But my 2004 Hyundai Elantra has excelled according to a criterion far more important than any of these others: reliability. Maintenance costs are low. Hardly ever needs a repair. Gets me from Point A to Point B on a regular basis. Isn't that what cars are supposed to do?

We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

Just recently purchased a Nissan Kicks at the Independence CarMax, we had previously purchased a Nissan Sentra {about 2 weeks prior) but we found it eventually getting into the vehicle difficult for the age as I am getting older (seventies in my case) the Kicks we have now is a wonderful vehicle. Rick Gross was our salesperson. He did a wonderful job explaining every aspect of our purchase. Matthew and Sharon handle the financial side of our purchase and also was clear on 30-day refund policy and purchase of our Kicks. I would highly recommend this CarMax in Independence; they took time to give us peace of mind on our new Nissan Kicks.

I love my car!! It’s fun to drive and gets great gas mileage. I have had it for 9 years and I have only had to replace a battery and get new tires! It’s a 5 speed, which I love! The only drawback is my husband is 6’1 so it’s kind of small for him, so no long road trips in my car! lol! But I am 5’2 and it’s a perfect fit. We are moving to Vermont and keeps telling me I need to trade it in for a 4wd, especially for snow and mud season. I just really do not want to give up my little car. I do want to buy a new Ford Bronco, so hoping since my Fiesta is paid off I can have both. It can be my summer car!! I have always had Ford Vehicles they never let me down!!

I have a 2013 Prius. It has 129k on it. This is by far the most reliable & efficient vehicle. I had only had to change the oil & that is it. It regularly gets approximately 55/60 MPG. I absolutely love this vehicle & would not hesitate to get another Prius.

This is no luxury car but if you are looking for a smaller car with great reliabilty and lower maintenance costs this is a great option. I am a petite female and the car is quite comfortable for me. I drive 18 miles one way into Minneapolis and the ride is enjoyable enough. This is my 2nd Mazda 3, ironically same color as my previous only because of availabilty. This model year all wheel drive was available and served me well in our Minnesota winters. Standard safety features are appreciated. I don't need all the bells and whistles but I do like connecting my phone to my car.

The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. Austin was kind, patient and understanding throughout the entire process. From the moment he greeted us at the front door until the moment we drove away, Austin was there to provide help, guidance and even some words of encouragement. He more than once told us, “I have your back”, and his actions backed that up. I was in the market to buy a newer used car, and I stopped by All Star Auto to check out a couple of cars I had found online. Johnny was my initial contact, and I could tell from my first visit that he would give it to me straight, no BS, and he wasn't pushy in the slightest. Very knowledgeable about the cars on the lot, and I ended up going to look on three different occasions, eventually settling on one that I liked. The buying process was very quick and painless, I believe I was in and out of the office in half an hour total (from the price agreement to the document signing). And their dealership administration fee is substantially lower than some of the other dealerships I checked out. Also, they offered to fix my loose driver's side handle for free a week after I had already purchased the car. Overall, their customer service is great (Johnny especially) and I had a great buying experience. I will definitely go back in the future when I'm in the market again.
