i love this car, mine is the tornado red and i have put machined gold rims on it with a slightly wider tire for more road grip. i definitely recommend wider tires on this as the stockies just do not hold the road like a wider thick tire (and it looks awesome so). i have had to replace the heater blower motor resistor, easy fix took about 30 mins and the piece is 20 bucks. i also had a kick in the gut with the notoriously bad water pumps on these cars. it took a few hours, some special tools, a lot of patience, and $400 for the pump. if you buy this car beware you will have to replace the water pump at around 100k they just were not quality stock so they get broken seals and what not. you can still drive it with a bad water pump, i don't recommend, but be prepared to put coolant in it like gas as it will just keep leaking out. enough with the bad, i gave this car a high review for a reason, smoothest ride i have ever had, steers like a boss--i mean seriously no car holds curves like this one, the interior is unmatched it is so beautiful and the plain seats are unique and give great back support. i hate that the center console lacks so much storage but it has a decent sized dash to make up for it. overall this car has insane performance, holds value, and has a unique and unmatched overall look on the inside and outside. do not hesitate to buy this, the only downside is the water pump.

Best experience by far. We had Tom Shields as our salesman and from the moment we walked on the lot it was like working with a friend. He was very helpful by answering all of our questions and when it came to purchase price it was by far the best price on the car. I purchased my car used. It was a trade-in to a Toyota dealer in San Antonio, Texas. It started off as a rental in Florida and I am the 3rd individual to own it. It has been an overall good car. But, the AC control knob that controls the fan speed has gotten stuck om low. I can still control the temp, but on cold mornings, it takes forever to defrost the windows, and om hot days, forever to cool the car. Also, there are times the screen that shows the back-up camera doesn't work. There are big-time blind spots with this car, so the camera is necessary. When the screen goes out, so does the radio. I am unable to turn it on, no volume, or changing stations. It's as if there is no radio at all. I thought at first I may need a new control knob, but now I am thinking there may be a wiring problem... such as a disconnect exfed or burned wire. I don't think it's a fuse. If so, it wouldn't work at all. Any suggestions?

Overall, the 2012 Beetle Turbo is an amazing choice for a unique, fun car that puts a smile on anyone’s face every time they drive it.

I was looking to buy a new vehicle and Sam Thurman was amazing to work with. He was knowledgeable and professional. I have been back with questions and he has been kind and helpful. Great overall little commuter hatchback. We got ours a few years old with low mileage due to the options we wanted. The other reviews are kind of silly on here, complaining about a car due to lack of options selected by the buyer. Yes it wont have heated seats if you dont get the heated seat models lol. Our model is the EX, it has a sunroof, blind mirror indicator, heated seats, and a manual 6 speed transmission. Basically all features any high end model could use, I dont like leather seats due to the degradation long term. Just make sure you avoid the CVT transmission. Our area would not offer manual 6 speed on the high end trim so we had to travel out of state to get ours. Few mods added to the car to make it even better: - bi-led projector retrofit on headlights - led bulbs all around, plates, interior. - auto dim rear view mirror (easy wire in) - front facing dash cam - sirius satellite radio - winter aluminum rims (instead of steelies), summer has factory 17" aluminum black/silver combo - towing hitch (bike carrier) -- vehicle rated at 2000 lbs Overall its been very reliable, super practical with the folding seats. It gets excellent fuel efficiency and fits everywhere. Power wise, its very snappy given with a manual transmission you can control it a lot better than the sloppy CVT. The manual does 0-60mph in 8 seconds or less, which is very fast for a little car. Its not a tesla or a GTR with 130hp but its plenty for its 36-40 mpg. One issue ours had was the starter went out really early, but it was an easy change out, its a known issue. The seats are not very comfortable for long trips but thats because they are so small and its a commuter car. The cam gear also can get noisy on these at start up, so they will rattle but has no impact to performance. We have just over 100k miles on ours and its a very strong little car, will be getting another one of the final production year as this one gets higher in mileage. Again get the manual 6, you will not regret it, honda manual cars are semi automatic, the clutch is like a feather vs. a subaru for example. Totally worth it.

I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

I have been looking for a Subaru Baja fora while now and I finally did at carmax in salt lake. I was three hours away and couldn't get out there quickly so they held the car for me. FOR A WEEK. They had people come in and was wanting it.But they still held it. I wish they would negotiate on the price. But I got it at a good price. The car was in top shape and the interior is awesome. Really good car. Bought my focus 2 years ago, and it was amazing deal. Was by the far best deal on the lot. There was a Corolla on the lot, which was way older, had a higher mileage, and was $500 more. I said no way, stick it Toyota. I’m going American, and I am so glad I made that choice. My focus didn’t disappoint me at all, with a well designed well thought out interior design, and sporty exterior styling. Very comfortable and quiet ride. And impressive gas mileage. 37 MPG on the highway, and around town about 33. Awesome gas mileage, and it only costs me $50 a week for a full tank. Been pretty reliable, did have a few little transmission hiccups. But took it in and were soon fixed under warranty. Other than that, no other reliability problems to report in two years of ownership. Definitely recommend this car.

The car meets a perfect speed standard for specific drivers, if you want power when you need to pass somebody or just got a nice long road you want to open it up on, you can do it, very well if I must say, the 2.0t is a amazing motor overall, so many different things you can do with it power wise, just overall a great balance car, butttt your back seat is not the best in a 2 door, which is what I have lol, oh well

The reason for 4 vs 5 was the financial person had a difficult time staying on task. Too much personal chatter. Our salesman was super.

2016 e-Golf SEL bought use 2yr old for 16K with 28k mi. Now 10/2023 with 63k miles. Two tires an a bunch of wipers. Fun, handles well, cheap charging costs (4.2/kWh), 5.3 mi/kWh, practical layout. No updating the navigation, not the best visibility but great backup camera. Not thrilled about the defrost wires in the windshield but it is fast. One foot driving is great! Like a poor man's Model 3.

The overall service was good but I have a few complaints.. Wehad a 10:00 am appt. Brought in on time. We assumed about 4hrs. So we left and called in later. 4 hrs. Later we called in and they had not started. No call to tell us. We called around 5:00 and car would not be done until the next day so we wasted the whole day hanging around. We live in Park City and we had to make another trip. Also coolant was low and not check after review. We have bought 8 Subarus their and facilitated is a bit in disarray.

I daily the prius C 2 and it's just the perfect car. It's small and light enough to just zip through traffic and the instant torque from the electric engine can get you where you need to go quick. The handling is tight and responsive and the wheel is nice and smooth. Nimble, light, and forgiving is how I would describe the drive feel. The car can fit quite a bit of cargo for its size if the seats are folded down. I moved all of my stuff cross country in it and honesty could have fit more than I brougt. Otherwise, it can comfortably move 3 passengers + driver without much issue. The only thing it can't do is haul a bunch of luggage and people at the same time. When you baby it, you'll get mpg near 50, so fuel costs are a nonissue. It's never broken down and never had any issues that weren't my fault. It's the perfect car and I would recommend it to anyone who was open minded about driving a small car.

Mike, the owner, is the most honest car salesman/owner, I have ever dealt with. I bought a great car from him years ago, it was a great choice, and he was a lot of help in that decision. This past week I took a car to him to possibly buy. He didn't give me a run around, he was honest in his dealings and just a good all around person. He is true to his work. My 2010 Prius with the solar panel package has been the best car I’ve ever owned. At 180k miles it drives like a dream and I’ve never had to replace anything besides the brakes. If I drive right I actually get 60-85 mpg. It’s a really wonderful car. I expect another 50 to 100k more miles out of it.

The car is a great balance between performance, economy, comfort, and versatility. It manages to do all of those things well, if not great. It won't win any races but it's fun to drive.

I bought my 2015 Nissan Versa Note in 2017 Certified Pre Owned with 35,000 miles on it. Now it has 80,000 trouble free miles on it. Aside from routine maintenance all I needed was sway bar links at 70,000 mi. Roomy, economical and comfortable. It may I interest everyone to know the transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles. It's $240 to have it done by the dealer. Small price to pay for reliability.

Bought used, cant really tell by the looks of it, 35,400 miles. I commute daily in it, charge it nightly and it’s ready to go in the morning, nice and warm. Car is pretty much a regular Golf other than the eMotor and the battery. Handles real nice due to very low center of gravity. Surprisingly good acceleration. 3 modes of power, normal, eco and eco+. Regenerative braking dumps power back into battery, If you drive carefully and leave plenty of room between your car and the one in front of you, you can almost use no braking and really extend your range. Very intuitive electronics, just took me a couple of days to get used to it. If you get the chance test drive one, you won’t regret it. Come December I’ll be charging from my Solar Array, so I won’t be paying for electricity.
