I love my car. 5 speed with 20k miles. Ive put on another 100k. I have taken this little AWD car places most people dont drive their 4x4’s. But I am meticulous about maintenance. I’ve never had a single issue with anything other than a thermostat replacement and A/C recharge. With the manual I don’t have to worry about a crap cvt. The first clutch lasted 118,000 miles. The only issue was the trust bearing, the clutch was still good. You cant beat a manual AWD that gets 30+ mpg IMO. Take care of the car and it will take care of you.

This was my first time buying a car, and they made the process so easy and stress free! They had a great attitude and were very relaxed and welcoming. Love my KIA SOUL; wish it was Brand New. At my age It would be my best performance car in life.. I will never drive nothin else.. It is perfect in most all ways as for the performance concern.. I've driven a large range of vehicles, from the cheapest commuter you can buy new, to fully loaded Town Cars and Chrysler 300's and everything in between. To get straight to it: It gets the job done, and won't break while doing it. It gets decent mileage, it's a Toyota so you know it's going to outlive you, and there's lots of space so how can you go wrong? To be 100% clear, it's not very comfortable and there's no sound insulation at all, and it makes no power which means getting anywhere at a brisk pace means your foot is occasionally to the floor during regular driving. I don't see these as issues, this is part of the fun, overall I have a lot of fun in it and I don't worry about it's reliability at all. I also recommend sampling the symphony that is allowing your muffler to rust off, and giving it some redline as a treat. She's a racecar.

Bought the car 3-4 weeks ago after 16 years with Nissans, and this is heads and tails above the Nissan, and i loved my Sentra's But the body lines are better on the Impreza, i like the Hatchback over the sedan, i have the base model and frankly i prefer the 2 screens over the 1 huge one, i do wish they had the android play wireless in the base but i still have it, just have to plug in, People say the 2.0 boxer is slow, they never owned a 1.8 sentra lol, this car feels smoother, it is a tad noisier on the highway but a better ride over all, as to dependability full discloser i was once a Subaru mechanic at a dealership, but always assumed i couldn't afford a subaru and i was wrong, but they are as if not more dependable than a Toyota and a lot less money.
