Used hatchbacks for sale near Jefferson, NJ under $249,968

We've had this car for 2 years and put 20K miles on it. We're the 3rd owner and it's driven mostly by my wife. Bottom line, we love the car. It's a confident ride, even in incremental weather with xDrive. My Hendrick BMW advisor told me it was built on a 7 Series Chasis. It's huge inside with reclining back seats! The double rear hatch design is unique but we rarely open the lower hatch so I'm not sure why it was engineered that way. I'm in my early 50's and this is our 6th BMW. I'd say my 2000 BMW 735i with staggered M Wheels was my favorite but now that we have a large family, this serves us well. Costco trips are a breeze and the panoramic roof is wonderful...until it broke. If you don't have the means to deal with repair costs, buy a Honda. I say this sincerely. We bought it for $19,500 cash from a private owner. At that time, dealerships were asking just under $25K. In 2 years, we've purchased run-flat tires, AC blower motor and Final Stage Unit (bought the parts from Bav Auto and installed them myself), Spark Plugs (they have to be BMW - installed myself), air struts died in the rear (BMW specialist shop), various suspension components (BMW specialty shop), battery, and just last week the sunshade ripped apart on it's tracks. We've spent about $6,000 in repairs (I'm including the quote on the panoramic sunroof and left out the cost of the tires). I'm not shocked because my previous two 5 Series BMW's had issues. Only my old 1986 325 never gave me issues for four years. I do love this car but it's costly to maintain. Now with 85K miles I'm sure we'll see more surprises, but my wife insists on keeping it. Personally I'd rather see her in a Lexus GS 350 AWD but she says the Lexus is dull. BTW - on two occasions the engine completely shut down on her and left her stranded. We took it to the BMW dealers and they found no issues. I don't feel she'd have this in a Lexus.

The Kia Soul is great for commuting and getting around town. It gets very good mileage and has everything I need to get comfortably from point A to point B. It's not a "Grand Tourer." It won't set your heart aflutter as your roar down the interstate. But it's comfortable to drive, the styling is good (I kind of like the older model years slightly better), and the features are well thought out and valuable. I REALLY like the Kia Soul! The one I won now is my second one, and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up with another some day.

THE LITTLE 1.2 DOHC ENGINE IS STRONG BUT MITUSBISHI SHOULD HAVE PUT A STANDARD TURBO ON THIS ENGINE,, THATS WHY MITSUBISHI MADE THE 3A92 MIVEC ENGINE.. HIGHLY DURABLE & STRONG .. NO PROBLEM ON THE HIGHWAY OR THE TAKE OFF FROM A STREET LIGHT. THE TRANSMISSION IS ALSO GOOD.. CVT.. NEVER CRAZY ABOUT CVT ... BUT THIS TRANSMISSION IS OK.. CAR HANDLES IN SNOW.. RAIN,, RUNS WELL.. PERFORMANCE IS THE BEST OF THE SUB COMPACT CARS AND EVEN LARGER 4 D SEDANS,, THE MIRAGE IS ROOMY INSIDE ALSO. IVE HAD 6 FOOT 4 FREINDS IN THE CAR . THEY WERE SHOCKED .. LOL... IVE BEEN OFFERED BY KIA. TO TRADE MINE IN TO THEM.. .. BUT I REALLY LIKE THIS LITTLE CAR.. "" NEBULA"" IS HER NAME. 100K MILE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY.. IVE HIT THE 100K MARK.. Front mid console is a bit awkward in placement, making it difficult to put two drinks in the designed locations. Its also awkward for the passenger to open the compartment because the fit is too close to the front seats. The lack of any dedicated sunglass compartment is frustrating. How about as part of the overhead info center?

This is a great choice for entry level EV. Combined I'm getting about 85 MPG. No hybrid car can touch this. Also the price can't be beat. Similar models are about $10K more (looking at you Prius Prime) Also many little extras included in price compared to Toyota.

All good and the interior cargo capacity is great. The big issue is that the seatbelts get stuck at any given point, locking the passenger into position and not allowing you to readjust the belt. You have to release the belt lock and rewind it or it won’t let you move. This seems incredibly dangerous. Why hasn’t the model (Fit 2013) been recalled for this issue?

In 4 years only one problem, horn failed 3 times. Last time I had it mounted differently and never failed again. This was covered by warranty

I recently bought this car and can’t get enough of it. Gas mileage is amazing and the power is unbelievable coming from the 2.0 4cyl. Steering and handling are spot on....... I purchased my car used. It was a trade-in to a Toyota dealer in San Antonio, Texas. It started off as a rental in Florida and I am the 3rd individual to own it. It has been an overall good car. But, the AC control knob that controls the fan speed has gotten stuck om low. I can still control the temp, but on cold mornings, it takes forever to defrost the windows, and om hot days, forever to cool the car. Also, there are times the screen that shows the back-up camera doesn't work. There are big-time blind spots with this car, so the camera is necessary. When the screen goes out, so does the radio. I am unable to turn it on, no volume, or changing stations. It's as if there is no radio at all. I thought at first I may need a new control knob, but now I am thinking there may be a wiring problem... such as a disconnect exfed or burned wire. I don't think it's a fuse. If so, it wouldn't work at all. Any suggestions?
