A few weeks ago my son and I bought a 2016 Hyundai Sonata at CarMax of Southlake on Mt. Zion Road in Stockbridge GA. Our sales agent was an older gentleman named Jim Lowe. What a nice guy. Low key. Not pushy. So very patient. He was very knowledgeable about the various cars my son wanted to look at and understood what features he needed on the car. He never rushed us to get on to the next customer and was always willing to answer all our questions. (And he even knew the answers and didn’t have to go ask someone.) These are attributes that you don’t always find with used car salesmen. But Jim was different. CarMax is different. Such a large selection of cars that we found and with low or mid or high mileage. The financial process was painless as well. We went outside to go get his car and found it all washed and cleaned inside. It even had a full tank of gas and a HUGE yellow bow across the hood. Such a nice way to send off the customer. I highly recommend CarMax for your next car buying experience. Also, ask for Jim.

I used this car to go back and forth to Poughkeepsie N.Y. when my Mom was dying. I never thought of my my car may break down. My car ran me back and forth for Doctor appointment's or my weekend off.

Really good car. Bought my focus 2 years ago, and it was amazing deal. Was by the far best deal on the lot. There was a Corolla on the lot, which was way older, had a higher mileage, and was $500 more. I said no way, stick it Toyota. I’m going American, and I am so glad I made that choice. My focus didn’t disappoint me at all, with a well designed well thought out interior design, and sporty exterior styling. Very comfortable and quiet ride. And impressive gas mileage. 37 MPG on the highway, and around town about 33. Awesome gas mileage, and it only costs me $50 a week for a full tank. Been pretty reliable, did have a few little transmission hiccups. But took it in and were soon fixed under warranty. Other than that, no other reliability problems to report in two years of ownership. Definitely recommend this car.

We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

Absolutely love my car. 2018 SI sedan 6speed manual. A/C was fixed at dealer a while back. No problem since. No other problems of any kind. I never get under 35MPG COMBINED city and freeway. We drove to Phoenix and never got gas on the way. I’m at almost 90k miles, favorite car I have owned. I added a subwoofer to the stock stereo and it’s pretty good with Dolby Neural. I am amazed at the engineering to have over 200hp and just under 40mpg. Seat material is cheap. That’s one complaint. And it rides like a civic SI especially in sport mode. The handling is top notch I’ve scared a few people taking corners. If you like the SI cars over the years, this is one of the best

Poor and deceitful. Gave me an impression of a car in good condition but later found out that what they said was not true. Vehicle had taillight issues, engine oil at 50% brake pads and rotos messed up transmission fluid was not changed either. Car vibrates during stops. I was told something could be worked out if any issues but that is not true. No one answers the phone nor reply to text messages. Both the finance manager and the salespersons lied to me and that's not good for a business. Now i am stock with an issue that could have been avoided in the first place had they told me the truth.

In late 2015 I ordered and bought a 2016 Hyundai accent. I was looking for a car under $20,000 CAD that would suit my purposes and that would be safe enough for my teenaged kids to learn and drive. The dealer experience was not what I would call a positive one. As this is about the car I will not go into detail here. The look of the little 2016 accent hatchback is really a 8/10. Put on some cheap fun stripes and you’ll be getting second looks; 9/10 then. Other body styles for the Accent are well…meh. Now the car itself is cheap to buy, and built cheaply. There is no doubt about that. There is an awful lot of road noise, there is usually some body part rattle, the torque is laughable, but again—it is cheap. I call this a Meccano car. Why? Because replacing parts is as easy as a Meccano set. And you WILL need to learn how to do this. This car gets no respect in parking lots; it’s constantly being dinged and hit by other cars. It has low clearance; road debris doesn’t go under the car— it cracks up all the plastic bits. Oh yeah, and the four or so fibre skid plates? Two disappeared within the first six months. One ripped off in a puddle during a rainstorm. However, because there’s so much plastic, and parts are easily available due to the car’s ubiquity, it’s fairly cheap to fix. This car can be insanely efficient. If you’re hypermiling, you can achieve 5.2 L per 100 km. I drive aggressively and get 6.2 or so. In town aggressive, will get you 7.4. My battery lasted six years before replacement. No complaints there. I take care of my car. I do most regular services on time. It’s been parked outside in Canadian prairie weather it’s entire life. It starts at -35C without the block heater plugged in. It’s insanely reliable and is just now displaying the first signs of rust from our heavily salted winter roads. Speaking of which– this thing is so light that you absolutely NEED winter tires up here, even if it is a front wheel drive or isn’t the law. While I would probably never buy a car like this used with 100000 km or more, I have been pretty happy with this thing. I like it better than my past Fords, Nissan, my four Chryslers, and even my Audi (based on price vs reliability). It was a good buy. I knew I was getting a cheap, disposable car. I bought my CR-V at the Eco park, the process was very fast and efficient. And I'm fully satisfied with the car condition. But one day after buying the my car, a warning appeared because of low tire pressure. So it is the only disappointing part the entire buying process.

I got this Civic Touring 2018 from my son as a gift. To my surprise, it’s quite comfortable inside, not tight at all. The ride is comfortable and road noises not pronounced, but wind noise increases when the speed goes beyond 60 mph. I just got this car less than 3 months so I didn’t spend much time in dashboard functions and buttons. Those on the steering wheel need my study too. The GPS is not good compared with Google’s even after new updates from Honda (Garmin). I always use gps on cellphone. Will come back after having enough experiences.

I bought my 2015 Nissan Versa Note in 2017 Certified Pre Owned with 35,000 miles on it. Now it has 80,000 trouble free miles on it. Aside from routine maintenance all I needed was sway bar links at 70,000 mi. Roomy, economical and comfortable. It may I interest everyone to know the transmission fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles. It's $240 to have it done by the dealer. Small price to pay for reliability.

This is the second Soul I've owned. The first one was a 2022 LX model and had some problems with the idle stop/start feature. It took 5 trips to the dealer before the issue was resolved. The 2024 LX model I recently purchased is roomy and has a number of standard features that are extra-cost on most other vehicles. The engine provides a lot of pep considering it's only 2.0 liter and non-turbo. The ride is a bit rough--not sure if that's inherent with the car or due to the lousy roads where I live. At any rate, I'm a very satisfied customer!

One needs to be "ready" to drive an EV. Charging a car is different than filling it with gasoline. But with a little planning, it works great, and it is MUCH cheaper. The car is really fun to drive. It's quiet, with very little vibration, yet VERY responsive. It has lots of great safety features, as well. It is well-priced, and the $7,500 federal rebate was really helpful! It's a great car.

This was my second time at this dealership. Both times were positive and friendly experiences. I will definitely be coming back for my car to be serviced.
