All good and the interior cargo capacity is great. The big issue is that the seatbelts get stuck at any given point, locking the passenger into position and not allowing you to readjust the belt. You have to release the belt lock and rewind it or it won’t let you move. This seems incredibly dangerous. Why hasn’t the model (Fit 2013) been recalled for this issue?

This is a terrific car for someone who wants a reliable, economical car that's great in snow and ice, and gets excellent gas milage. To help maximize your mpg just watch the dashboard meter that tells you when you're getting the best mpg possible. If you're not (like the reviewer who said he got only 18 mpg) then you're driving too fast and you can't blame the car for that! I love my Subaru!

The only problem I'm having with this car the power windows on the driver side and the passenger side in the windshield washer motor I'm not are not working properly otherwise the car works very well and drives well and I have no other problems

I am writing ANOTHER review for Trend Auto since I continue to use them for maintenance issues regarding my used Toyota Sienna that I purchased from them years ago. I have had several issues pop up through the years regarding my van and not only have they resolved each and every problem, they did so in a very reasonably priced and expedient manner. Purchased for my wife's 80 + mile daily commute. She drove it daily for over 10 and a half years. All maintenance done by the Honda Dealer in Saratoga Springs, NY Great service, by the way. A very trouble free car. She decided to purchase a new CRV earlier this year. I now drive the Insight for my daily 40 mile commute. I average 58MPG, as I drive it very easy and avoid the interstate. It now has 228,000 miles and still going strong! I highly recommend this if you don't mind its lower performance but it pays back in great gas mileage. I fill up every 14 to 16 days for less than $18.00. Can't say enough about how good of a car this is. My son is turning 16, in a few months. This will be his 1 car. I am looking for another one for myself.

Had been car shopping for what seemed forever and I came across a vehicle on one of the car websites that was located at Highline. I am a bit skeptical when going to used car lots because what you see (online) is not generally what you get (on lot). From the minute we drove into their yard, I was in awe. Ali greeted us as we got there and I told him what we were there to see and he made sure it was brought around immediately. The car was immaculate! Everything it looked like online was how it was, only better, in person. After the test drive, inside we were also helped by Danish while Ali finished up with another customer. These two gentlemen were top notch! All in all, from start to finish I think was about 2 hours. Pricing was fair and the deal was wrapped up. On the drive home (30 mins away) the car handled perfectly. All in all, this was one of the BEST transactions I have ever gone through with a car purchase. I would definitely recommend them - not only are they great to deal with, they have a HUGE inventory of quality cars and trucks (Ford, Dodge, Mercedes, Bentley, Honda, Tesla, to name a few) in every price range. Go see them!!

The one weak point is that there is a design defect. The exhaust manifold leading to cylinders tends to get clogged up. Must be cleaned every 60 k miles (200 dollar job) to avoid head gasket replacement. Otherwise should run forever. 250 k miles and doesn't use drop of oil. 2014 is known to be vintage year, with all kinks worked out of generation 3 - except for aforementioned. Besides being ultra reliable, the car is simply the best use of space and readily available fuel possible. Enormous cargo space with back seats down. Up, passengers have room almost equivalent to full-size sedan. Simply best car ever made. Just look out for traction battery expense. But even that can be mitigated using rebuilt batteries and independent shops.

In late 2015 I ordered and bought a 2016 Hyundai accent. I was looking for a car under $20,000 CAD that would suit my purposes and that would be safe enough for my teenaged kids to learn and drive. The dealer experience was not what I would call a positive one. As this is about the car I will not go into detail here. The look of the little 2016 accent hatchback is really a 8/10. Put on some cheap fun stripes and you’ll be getting second looks; 9/10 then. Other body styles for the Accent are well…meh. Now the car itself is cheap to buy, and built cheaply. There is no doubt about that. There is an awful lot of road noise, there is usually some body part rattle, the torque is laughable, but again—it is cheap. I call this a Meccano car. Why? Because replacing parts is as easy as a Meccano set. And you WILL need to learn how to do this. This car gets no respect in parking lots; it’s constantly being dinged and hit by other cars. It has low clearance; road debris doesn’t go under the car— it cracks up all the plastic bits. Oh yeah, and the four or so fibre skid plates? Two disappeared within the first six months. One ripped off in a puddle during a rainstorm. However, because there’s so much plastic, and parts are easily available due to the car’s ubiquity, it’s fairly cheap to fix. This car can be insanely efficient. If you’re hypermiling, you can achieve 5.2 L per 100 km. I drive aggressively and get 6.2 or so. In town aggressive, will get you 7.4. My battery lasted six years before replacement. No complaints there. I take care of my car. I do most regular services on time. It’s been parked outside in Canadian prairie weather it’s entire life. It starts at -35C without the block heater plugged in. It’s insanely reliable and is just now displaying the first signs of rust from our heavily salted winter roads. Speaking of which– this thing is so light that you absolutely NEED winter tires up here, even if it is a front wheel drive or isn’t the law. While I would probably never buy a car like this used with 100000 km or more, I have been pretty happy with this thing. I like it better than my past Fords, Nissan, my four Chryslers, and even my Audi (based on price vs reliability). It was a good buy. I knew I was getting a cheap, disposable car. It is now 2024, my Fit is a bought new 2013. Still drives like new. It's a little light, keeps you attentive to the road, the back seats are a little firm, but this car holds everything. All the ways you can configure the interior is amazing. If anyone thinks this car is weak, remember the peak horsepower is 6800 RPM. Run it out and feel the Vtec boost. Heat, A/C, ell that works well. Stereo has good sound, and you can connect iPhone through USB and track and volume is controlled by radio head. Body design still looks modern.

Before purchase, I did extensive research on this vehicle bc it was it was as close to a Mini Countryman in design as I could find. I am completely satisfied & never regretted after many miles & years. I am forever amazed at how well it is designed for comfort & ease of repairs. It contains more standard options than most and more than some expensive top of the line brands. After 9 years behind the wheel of this 2014 plus, I can only desire two faults that I'd improve, and that's the sides of the hood get dented very easily & the steering "feel" is very dead and unresponsive

I own the most bear bones version and it works like a charm, with the manual 30mpg is easily achievable. Steering at low speeds feels like you are the car. Pedals are responsive and the suspension can handle just about anything. Highly recommended for a cheap daily.

Purchased '99 Mustang GT 27k miles last May 2022 which was in excellent condition. There were 3 obvious issues when inspecting (belt tensioner, truck lid lift, tire age and condition) owner spent time inspecting on their lift, road test and agreed to a "fair" final price. After 10 months everything else fine. Good experience BUT you will need to know what you doing & hearing.

It's great to drive and met my needs as far as reliable and good transportation goes. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a sporty reliable car that can def meet your needs.

Bought this new, never had any major issues mechanically. I take care to give it regular oil changes with synthetic. The nav has gotten laggy so I don't bother with it anymore and stick with my phone. I've also noticed the TPMS sensors seem more sensitive lately, so it annoyingly warns me about low tire pressure, even when it's not that bad yet. This blocks the screen telling me avg. mpg, so I have to fill it up I can't just ignore it for awhile. Other than that I still love driving it, it's quick enough for me and fun to drive around town. I was expecting to change cars much early especially with the warranty now over, but I'm going to stick with it for a few more years.

Had the C-Max Hybrid for about a month, and overall it's been a joy to drive. A real all-purpose vehicle that routinely achieves 35-40 mpg in the city, the primary reason we sought it out was it's amazing visibility. Our 6'-5" teenager has not problem getting comfortable behind the wheel, and I've never driven a vehicle that has such great viewing angles - you almost feel too exposed while driving! The regenerative brakes are typically more sensitive than regular brakes, but overall I have only praise for this very versatile little car!
