Used hatchbacks for sale near Muse, PA under $99,963

I bought this car brand new in 2012. Paid 17k. Worth every penny. It has 63k miles onit right now. Have never done anything other than change the oil and filter. It runs like it is expected. Slow and easy. You won't win no races with it. But it gets my wife to work with no issues. { 5 miles} Rain or snow. We have taken it on several road trips. Including a couple 1000 plus mile trips. Running wide open the whole way. It has no problem. I am a big guy. Very un comfy in most cars. But this I fall right into it and am able to climb back out with ease. The interior is cloth. Its starting to fade. But still no tears or wear marks. Theres nothing fancy about this car. But my wife loves it.

Was only in for an inspection but receive a free update to my software everything was fast and easy. Every time I have a question they have the answer, all the people I have had contact with were nice and easy to talk too..

We had a 2018 Impreza and 2017 Legacy which we traded on for a 2025 Impreza sport. It's a great car for the money has many updated features

I haven't owned a 4 cylinder in a long time. I had a turbo 5 Volvo, a 6 cylinder accord, and a Mercedes c300 6 as my last three cars, then before that I owned a last model year RSX (2006, I wouldn't count the new ones) for a long time so that's the closest comparison to this. I think the RSX felt a bit more sporty (I didn't have the Type S), but as for power they're a pretty close match, and I bet the Mazda 3 would smoke it off the line with it's torque heavy engine. I think the RSX looked more sporty too, it had probably a more mature styling to it that I appreciate now even more than I did when I owned one, but I will say every time I look at my Mazda 3 I like it more and more. I've seen a thousand of these on the road and never had a strong opinion on them, but my girl in red keeps growing on me, and when I take the dog out for walks I circle the car and look it over and understand it more and more. I have a 2018 fully loaded GT, and the interior is mostly it's strongest positive. The facelifted w204 is easily the nicest looking interior I've ever been in, and the accord maybe the most comfortable, but this is incredibly close to the accord in terms of comfort and only lacking in slightly worse seats and less room. The seats are great though, but the 2012 accords were some of the best I've say in. The fake leather has a great balance of firm and give to it, and what's even better is the whole interior is wrapped in a similar nice synthetic material that's a joy to be wrapped in. I've never owned a car where my arms are supported on both sides in such a comfortable manner. I'm 6'1 so I keep my seat low but I feel like I have a good deal of room, in fact, I test drove a 2023 (gen 4) Mazda 3 that was an incredible price, about $800 off from my 2018 and even less miles but the new interior design is nowhere close to as good as what we get in the gen 3. You have almost no room to spread your legs out in the newer models and that's a deal breaker for me. The one major weakness of the 2018's interior is the tablet on top of the dash looks hideous. I think I mentioned earlier my model is fully loaded, and I mean it. But what's that mean, a premium sound system, some exterior trim pieces tacked on? Nope, here we have some genuinely cool features. Adaptive headlights that turn with the wheel, a heads up display that's projected on a piece of clear plastic that raises up when you start the engine and can show speed, road signs, blind spot info, next GPS heading, etc. We have automatic windshield wipers, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, a great Bose sound system, paddle shifters. My car has more bells and whistles than my wife's high trim 2023 Tuscon. I really love my little Mazda, and I'm hoping to take it down some back roads to see if I can enjoy the driving part as much as some others do, as I've mostly spent time on the highway or in stop and go so far. This was a purchase I was unsure of 3 days ago when I made it, but every couple waking hours something pulls me to that car, whether to drive it or just to sit in it. I know now I've made a great choice.

Thoroughly reliable diesel automobile. Steady fwy driving will get you 45 mpg. Nice not to have to change spark plugs. Likely not a great choice in subzero weather.

I absolutely love mine in comfort I think that it could have been a little bit better but that's on long trips. Short trips the comfort is fine. My car was totaled and my airbags blew on my steering wheel and at my legs and I'm so glad that they did because I really would have gotten hurt without those airbags The seat belt also did its job very well and the brakes warning light came on first then the brakes came on the exact same time I was putting the brakes on a guy ran a stop sign and there really wasn't much I could do but hit him which it did total my car and I am now looking for another one of the exact same kind I want my car back I love my Honda Civic sport touring.

This car is fully loaded and had low mileage very comfortable ride beautiful interior everything you need in a daily driver it’s not a speedster but it will get you to where you going comfortably and in style I highly recommend this car.

I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

I traded in a 2011 Porsche 911S convertible for the 2020 Audi S5 convertible. The horsepower is very similar but the tall first and second gear in the 911 made it slow off the line. The S5 is VERY fast off the line - smooth power band all the way up to 100 MPH. The seats are really comfortable, everything works - always, people are always stopping me to find out what model it is and complimenting me on the great looks - quantum gray with factory 20" wheels with Carbon trim. No better sports car for $70K !!

My first Subaru. This is the RS model in Desert Oasis Blue. It’s a dream to drive. Fully equipped and the pick up speed is amazing. I feel incredibly safe in this car. It’s so comfortable and the air conditioning keeps me comfortable inside.

I absolutely recommend this car if you need a workhorse to drive you back and forth and not to die on you. A couple things about this car --- 200k miles with multiple total-loss level accidents because my jobs at the time had me on the road most days. Still running strong. I just took it on an interstate road trip and it doesn't miss a beat. This car is hard to kill. I don't know how this thing was built by Toyota but it is seriously impressive value for the money. Worth literally every penny for what I've squeezed out of it so far. Cons: the disrespect you get is insane. I've driven other cars and the hate that this car receives in particular is laughable. Also the performance is ridiculously bad, which everyone knows. One way to sum this up, I had a friend of mine once say, "It's hard to look another man in the eye while getting out of a Prius."

First things first... I view any car as a necessary evil.... I view them as something to get stuff from point A to point B. If I had My druthers I'd bicycle everywere but, since I live in the Berkshires of Massachusetts and as such we get a lot of snow and I can't. The Impreza fits the bill of what I need in a car. I have driven many cars in all kinds of conditions, the Impreza has never let me down. I'll admit it won't win most drag races but if you're looking for safety and reliability look no further. Mine is a lease and is the base model, but is chock full of great and useful features such as lane assist, hazard warning and my favorite adaptive cruise control (which brakes for you as the car in front of you slows down.) I had the first iteration of the Impreza in the nineties and that was good... This is awesome. Before I leased the Impreza I did due diligence by test driving Honda, Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota... The Impreza had most of the features I wanted at the price point that I wanted... Also the only manufacturer that offered AWD on the base model.

In February 2010, on my way to work, my 2001 Subaru Outback broke down. I had a tow truck haul it and me to #1 Cochran Subaru in Monroeville. Once the mechanic checked it over, I was told that it would cost a lot of money to have it repaired. I had a choice to make. I loved my "Crocodile Dundee" Subaru Outback and didnt want to let it go!!! After talking with my sister-in-law, a friend, and the Service Technicians, I made the decision to buy a new car. The Service Technicians were so nice. I couldn't stop crying, so they bought me lunch and checked in on me throughout the day to make sure that I was doing okay. That's how I came to own a 2010 Subaru Forester. Two Saturdays ago my check engine light, cruise control light, and another light came on. I raced to #1 Cochran Subaru and the Service Technician, Cheyne Brooks, checked it out and said it was okay until he could get me in and have a loaner car ready for me. Yesterday, Monday, October 25, 2022, was the day for me to take my car in to get it checked out. Before I left in my loaner car, a 2022 Forester, I went in to talk to a sales person that I had met months ago, Jamie Bergamasco. I met Jamie when I had stopped in to see if I could get a look at the new Outback Wilderness. I did get to see one and the price tag!!! Jamie remembered me and my name from that day many months ago. I had decided to be proactive regarding my car, rather than reactive. We sat down and talked for awhile. I explained what I needed and why. He listened to me and took a lot of notes. About an hour later, Cheyne called to tell me what was wrong with my car. I listened to him, but I didn't hear what he was saying. What I heard was that it was going to cost me $820.00 then and then a couple of months later I would have to pay around $920.00 for the 150,000 mile maintenance service. After many conversations with my sister-in-law, talking through my options, I decided that the best course of action was to buy a new car. I went back to talk with Jamie regarding my decision. He took the rest of the day helping me to find the right used car for my needs. Jamie made a very stressful process for me less stressful, for which I will always be grateful. I ended up buying a 2018 Quartz Blue Pearl Subaru Forester. I want to thank Cheyne Brooks, a master Service Technician, for all of his assistance on Monday and for all the previous years (and all the coming years). Cheyne, you are the best!!! I have a 10-year-old, high mileage VW TDI that has had the emission repairs performed and has the VW extended warranty. In the past few years it has had some OBDII check engine codes that involved replacement of major (and expensive) components. Each time VW and Cochran service advisors (Joe Mazzocchetti among them) have arranged to have the entire repair covered with never an issue. Everyone has probably heard instances of manufacturers and dealers trying to avoid responsibility under warranties. That is certainly not the case here. VW has gotten a lot of bad press for the emission scandal, but they have stepped up to make good on emissions related warranty repairs without hesitation. Good recovery and exemplary customer service!

Look, if you dont know about the virtues of the GTI, you really need to go drive one. This is the total package, a great combination of speed, handling and practicality. This is the mature, grown up way to inject enthusiasm into your daily commute, while still being able to show up at your In-laws place and look respectable. They'll never know that you can blow the doors off a lot of boy racers on the way there. Bottom line: If youre looking for a car that will make runs to Costco and then put a smile on your face on the back roads home, this is your best bet.

Bought a 2006 BMW 330i convertible from Exceptional Motorcars in late Sept 2022. We found Frank to be exceptionally accommodating and honest. Not normally the definition of a used car dealer. He took care of a couple minor issues before delivery and the car has been flawless. We will definitely buy from Frank again.

This car has all of the bells and whistles, burlwood trim, logo embossed seats - true luxury on the inside.. you would never know it is a 2010. Drives and handles like a sports car, but with space for the kids ( or adults !) in the back seat.

Just bought the Honda Civic 2020 Sport Coupe and I’m really happy with it. The car looks sharp, drives smoothly, and has enough power to make daily driving fun without sacrificing fuel economy. Interior is comfortable and modern, with all the tech I need. Overall, a great blend of sporty looks, efficiency, and reliability. I would Highly recommend this car.
