I use to only own Hondas- I had Accords and Civics and they were very good cars. However while in college, I needed a new car and was on a shoestring budget. That landed me my first Ford- a Crown Victoria. Now that was an amazing car- very cheap to maintain, easy to work on, etc. It was so amazing, my next car was another Crown Victoria! It too was just as reliable, but unfortunately at over 200k miles and rusting out considerabily, it was time to upgrade. Unforuntately Ford doesn't make the Crown Victoria anymore, but being loyal to the brand, I started looking around. After researching for approximately a year, I felt comfortable enough to pull the trigger on the 2017 Ford C-Max Titanium Energi, and it was a very good decision! It's incredibly comfortable, the heated seats are amazing, and the visibility is awesome as well. The fuel economy is pretty amazing as well- I've averaged about 46 MPG since I got the car in November of 2024. There are a few things I would change if Ford were to ask me- first, there is no map light. The dome light is adequate but its over my head and behind me whereas a map light would be ideal because sometimes you need light directly above you. Second, on a cold day, when you set the heater on 90, the blower will blow cold air on you immediately before the engine is warmed up. Even my old 2005 Crown Victoria did not do this- the blower would not blow any air until the engine had warmed up. Beyond those two complaints, it's an amazing car and perfect for bopping around town.

Have had my 2005 Matrix for a couple of years and let me tell you she's a rider. My Lady bug 🐞 gets me where I need to go. Easy parking and less time at the pump. Would totally keep til the wheels fall off in at 200k+ miles.

A brilliant mark of automotive excellence. An abundance of personality, only to be outdone by my 9lb chihuahua. - 135 horsepower is more than plenty on the freeway, and far too much for the city. - The design of the interior cabin feels I am already in the future, as opposed to the present. - The cabin is also very quiet. I hardly hear cars and noise around me - the sound quality from the sound system is spectacular, and the audio from phone calls is unbelievably clear. - I've never driven a car with better handling. I would say it is in a Goldielocks zone of having enough wiggle for comfort and stiffness for performance.

I'll start by saying that I didn't purchase a car form here yet only because they didn't have exactly what I was looking for. In a time where these shady dealers are posting rock bottom prices and then adding 2-4K in nonsense dealer fees, it's refreshing to see that they're just selling you a car without the nonsense. There is a dealer fee, but it's reasonable. I wish more dealers would employ these practices. I worked with Antonio and he wasn't pushy and very professional to work with. I'm keeping my eye on their website to see if a car pops that fits my needs.

I wanted a used small car that was reasonable priced with under 70,000 miles. I found this small hatch back hybrid in excellent condition. The interior is very sport and I love the hatchback to get packages in and out of the car easily. It will be very economical for commuting to work.

I had a tight budget going into CarTopia 46 and wasn't sure whether I would discover anything trustworthy. The team never pushed me to reach higher goals and showed me a great deal of respect for what I could afford. They presented me with a number of excellent options that were all well within my budget. I bought my 2016 Cmax energi SEL in 2021 with 40k on it. After a year, I now have 60 k driven over the Rockies 3x and Cascades x2 and use it locally for drives from 40 to 70 km average. I use a 220 volt charger. The best mileage comes when the weather is between 15-20C. when I averaged 3.6L/100km. This is not the most fuel efficient hybrid, nor is it the worst, but bang for buck and enjoyable ride ...it's great! Driving in the city is best on electrical mode, sometimes I get +50 km on a charge, but mostly around 35 km. A tank of fuel, (55l) can last 800-1000 km of driving. Driving is fun! Very easy to pass other vehicles on the highway without worrying. Hard to tell when the vehicle shifts between electric and ICE. Lots of headroom and space for back seat passangers. I can pack the back with lots of stuff....yes..the battery takes up room, but I always get stuff in. Build quality is okay, noticed a few glitches in parts fitting together and I did have the AC wire harness fall apart. Bottom line....I love this car and it saved me tons of money in fuel costs

Purchased this with only 5000 miles on it from Audi dealer whose sales person was original owner. Agree with the previous review about what a great car this is. The comparable BMW M series and Mercedes AMG have even more muscle and more growl, but this car has much better everyday comfort and style and still is a tiger in performance RS mode. I get 0 to 60 in 3.6 secs with good tires. I have a 2018 S5 Sportback which I prefer for longer highway drives where its softer ride, better cargo space and economy, but extra power when you need it, are an advantage, but the 2021 (minimally changed for 2022) RS5 is my fun car and what I take for road rallies in the mountains and for HPDEs on the track. 2.9L twin turbo is a marvel with more HP and torque that older V8 RS5 models. Both cars have been very reliable. Great Audi tech, of course, with impeccable interior, awesome B&O audio system and the recently government approved LED-laser matrix headlamps.

Love the Energi version; had a regular one before which was handed down to our daughter. Very comfortable, lots of usable and versatile space inside for a smallish car. Great economy (we get close to 49 MPG as a daily driver).

Bought used with 86000 miles. No motor issues except when I got bad gas twice. Biggest complaint like others, the mirrors start buzzing and won't shut off. Raineys Auto pulled wire on left one, suppose to order one, that was 2 or 3 years ago. Never had 1 in stocks for next 8 months. Now the right ones doing it. Only real complaint. I think my AC pulley or belt is loose a little noisey but not like that freightrain mirror. I think mirrors are a quality issue. But I do have 237,000 miles now. So for the most part I would give it a good 4.3. It's actually more comfortable that my Mitz. Outlander was.
