I came to Carmax looking for to test drive a Nissan Leaf I saw on cars.com. Actually, I tried another dealership first for the same type of car, but that dealer was closed on Sunday. CarMax is open seven days a week. That’s a plus if you, like me, have weekends off. I was able to get my credit pre-approved in just minutes. It turned out the Leaf wasn’t the car for me, but it’s neighbor, a Mercedes B Class was my glass slipper. Once I had decided which car I was buying, the process was really quick and easy. The representative asked a lot of probing questions to help confirm that I had researched the car I was buying (an all electric vehicle), which made me feel like he cared that I got the right car for me. It was a good experience and I’m very happy with my car.

After 23 years of driving minivans and SUVs, I was ready for a change. I love my 2016 Mini Cooper S 4 door. with the 6 speed manual transmission. Car is great to drive, gets okay mileage (25+mpg) and is surprisingly practical.

I took my daughter to buy her first “grown up” car today. I always expect decent service whenever I buy a vehicle, but Melanie and Ben were an absolute joy! If I could give them 10 stars, I would. They were patient with my daughter throughout the process and demonstrated the kind of care I’d expect from a family member. This car feels very neutral and smooth in corners at any speed. Sometimes, it feels like it's too easy to go too fast in this because the grip is so confidence-inspiring. I have the non-turbocharged model, which has plenty of giddy up to it. I'm not sure if I regret choosing it over a turbocharged variant but there's plenty of power for my needs. The gearing is pretty tall and you need to plant your foot to let it rev out and find the right gear, but doing so is rewarded with a very responsive and surprisingly smooth engine for being a 4 cylinder. I was feathery on the gas at first, so it was underwhelming but I adjusted to the inputs. The car feels plenty sporty and the grip makes cornering feel amazing. The rear suspension is torsion beam and you will notice it on very poor roads, but everyday driving on decent roads feels super refined, quiet and grip is not affected by this suspension arrangement. I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm 6'3" and fit pretty comfortably in the car even with the sunroof right above me. I've been in cars with more front legroom and have been less comfortable than I am in this car. Seat bolstering could be an issue for those with wider shoulders. I'm someone who loves a low driving position, so this car is a godsend in a world of soulless, blobby SUVs. I think this is the best all-around compact car you can get.

Transports more than other 4 door cars. Drives fantastic. Smooth, yet sporty and nimble ride, with plenty of quick acceleration when needed. Very reliable, with easy maintenance.

Who knew? We sure didn't know how EASY it was to sell our car at CARMAX. We completed the online questionnaire and received an online offer. We liked it! When taking our truck in to El Paso's CarMax West, we were greeted with smiles and efficiency. Brittany examined our truck inside and out and gave us the same price as our online offer. I absolutely love mine in comfort I think that it could have been a little bit better but that's on long trips. Short trips the comfort is fine. My car was totaled and my airbags blew on my steering wheel and at my legs and I'm so glad that they did because I really would have gotten hurt without those airbags The seat belt also did its job very well and the brakes warning light came on first then the brakes came on the exact same time I was putting the brakes on a guy ran a stop sign and there really wasn't much I could do but hit him which it did total my car and I am now looking for another one of the exact same kind I want my car back I love my Honda Civic sport touring.

I absolutely love this car, I am so glad i went with this car instead of the other option i was looking at. The only things i don’t like, are the limited storage space, and the engine start stop feature. There should be an option to turn it off and keep it off instead of having to turn it off every time i start the car. Other than that, this car is amazing. It has great leg room in the back, which is what i was looking for the most besides the remote start. I upgraded from a 2003 elantra.

I bought this car brand new in 2012. Paid 17k. Worth every penny. It has 63k miles onit right now. Have never done anything other than change the oil and filter. It runs like it is expected. Slow and easy. You won't win no races with it. But it gets my wife to work with no issues. { 5 miles} Rain or snow. We have taken it on several road trips. Including a couple 1000 plus mile trips. Running wide open the whole way. It has no problem. I am a big guy. Very un comfy in most cars. But this I fall right into it and am able to climb back out with ease. The interior is cloth. Its starting to fade. But still no tears or wear marks. Theres nothing fancy about this car. But my wife loves it.

This was my 1st experience with CarMax and I have absolutely nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about the entire process. Everyone that I dealt with, throughout the entire process had amazing attitudes and willing to help in any way possible. I truly felt like everyone enjoyed their jobs and their main goal was to make sure all their customers got into the vehicle that they truly wanted. I can't thank this team enough, for making our Yukon purchase as smooth as it was!

I loves mini, its simple cute and small car but has power. And the space isnt too bad. The gas consumption is also not much. A bit expensive for maintaining but its worth it.

I had no choice, my car of 20 years, which I bought brand new in 1999 was done. With so many websites ( I looked at several), I was not sure where to go. Then someone mentioned Car Max to me. I looked on line and saw a few cars I was interested in. The next weekend I drove to Colma to checked out and test drive a couple of cars. I decided to ask about Hybrids...you had 2. I test drove one of them and could not resist. I bought it. I was very impressed with the buying process. It was quick, easy and believe it or not relaxing since the sales person completed the paper work for me. Yes, I had to sign several sheets but that was a given. Something I was dreading for the past two years, was so surprisingly easy I couldn't believe it!!!

We bought our 2017 Fiat 500 pop almost three years ago with 27k on it. We needed a small light car to tow behind our motor home and it fit the bill. What we didn't expect, was to totally fall in love with this little reliable and efficient car. I never could have anticipated how reliable and solid this little Fiat would be. We love driving the 5 speed with a nice purring engine under it's hood. We done nothing but oil and filter changes and tire rotations for three years, of course a air filter and cabin filter as well, but that's it. I would highly recommend this amazing little car to anyone. In town we get 45-50 mpg at 35 with the Cruise on, and at 80 we get 32-40 depending on hills etc. Car has totally exceeded all our expectations and more. No worries that Fiat stands for fix it again tony, no way, on this dependable great little car. I wish Fiat sold more of thier cars here, like in Europe and South America. Go Fiat!

I purchased a used 2022 Polestar 2 about 10 months ago. I have a PHEV Honda Clarity and I wanted to go all EV. The Polestar 2 has been a great car to own; it is very low maintenance, comfortable for tall drivers and passengers under 6 ft in height; the over the air updates are good, and we should be getting a NACS adapter in August 2024. I recommend the Polestar 2.

After buying Toyota vehicles for years, I found out that they were outsourcing their CVT’s and Honda was making their own CVT’s and after driving a new Toyota Corolla and then a new Honda Civic, I was more impressed with the Honda Civic. My three previous cars were Toyota Corolla’s and I loved them. I am very happy with my 2021 Honda Civic EX and I would not hesitate to recommend Honda.

I contacted this dealership about a Hyundai Tucson I had been watching for a few months. Finally took it for a test drive and fell in love. Stephen was kind, patient, and had the car detailed for me when I came to pick it up, and even installed a new battery to make sure I would have no issues going forward. The buying process was easy and simple and everyone was friendly. I am not sure what Maria’s official title is at the dealership but she dealt with all of the paperwork to sign once I bought the car and she was extremely nice as well.
