THE LITTLE 1.2 DOHC ENGINE IS STRONG BUT MITUSBISHI SHOULD HAVE PUT A STANDARD TURBO ON THIS ENGINE,, THATS WHY MITSUBISHI MADE THE 3A92 MIVEC ENGINE.. HIGHLY DURABLE & STRONG .. NO PROBLEM ON THE HIGHWAY OR THE TAKE OFF FROM A STREET LIGHT. THE TRANSMISSION IS ALSO GOOD.. CVT.. NEVER CRAZY ABOUT CVT ... BUT THIS TRANSMISSION IS OK.. CAR HANDLES IN SNOW.. RAIN,, RUNS WELL.. PERFORMANCE IS THE BEST OF THE SUB COMPACT CARS AND EVEN LARGER 4 D SEDANS,, THE MIRAGE IS ROOMY INSIDE ALSO. IVE HAD 6 FOOT 4 FREINDS IN THE CAR . THEY WERE SHOCKED .. LOL... IVE BEEN OFFERED BY KIA. TO TRADE MINE IN TO THEM.. .. BUT I REALLY LIKE THIS LITTLE CAR.. "" NEBULA"" IS HER NAME. 100K MILE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY.. IVE HIT THE 100K MARK.. JUS HAD A TUNE UP AND NEW TIRES.ITS BEEN PAID OFF SINCE 22..SO IM STUCK RIGHT NOW .. IN WINTER. I JUS WISH THE MIRAGE CAME WITH A STOCK TURBO,, IT WOULD REALLY BE FUN.. IDK IF I WANT A NEWER CAR .. This is a surprisingly fun car. We bought it mainly to not feel guilty running the AC in car line - but got to appreciate it in various situation. The range isn't great, the flimsy tires need getting used to - but for what a used (ideally certified pre-owned) one goes for - I really don't think you can go wrong. Unless you live in a city and have good places to charge - it probably is not a suitable car as your only car - but it's a great addition if you don't depend on it for a 300 mile drive. Accelerations is fun, the car is a lot bigger inside than it looks. It has a little bit of a theme park ride feel to it at times.

In 4 years only one problem, horn failed 3 times. Last time I had it mounted differently and never failed again. This was covered by warranty

We drove our 2019 SEL from CA to OH and back in July 2021. It was a perfect ride. Our cat even got to like it. The Ionic performed better than any advertisement we saw. The sticker indicates mpg @ 57. At best we got 57.6! We didn’t get 57 the whole trip, but our 5100 mile averaged was 54. I stopped leasing after 3 cars to buy this one. Best car I’ve bought in 40 years.

This is the second Soul I've owned. The first one was a 2022 LX model and had some problems with the idle stop/start feature. It took 5 trips to the dealer before the issue was resolved. The 2024 LX model I recently purchased is roomy and has a number of standard features that are extra-cost on most other vehicles. The engine provides a lot of pep considering it's only 2.0 liter and non-turbo. The ride is a bit rough--not sure if that's inherent with the car or due to the lousy roads where I live. At any rate, I'm a very satisfied customer!

In 2020 and a half I bought a 2004 Focus ZTS 5-speed manual. It had a 113,000 miles on it and 30,000 miles on it. I bought it for right at $1,900 and about a month after buying it I did put a new catalytic converter on it. That was a costly repair, just the part alone will be anywhere from $500 to about $800. Then you've got the labor. The labor cost is and can be very extensive because they have to loosen the motor mounts lower your motor to get to where they can take it out. I'm not sure what Ford was thinking when they designed this because for a car that brand spanky knew there's only $18,000, and it has a $1,500 repair for a catalytic converter because it bolts up directly to your manifold there is no pipe that comes down off the manifold to it and then a pipe to your muffler. I found a reputable muffler shop in my area that was willing and somehow able to do it for $850 and that included one O2 sensor that I wanted to have replaced the one that mounts right up on your converter the number one. In about 9 months later I have to replace the alternator. I chose to let a mechanic that has done work for me for 30 years tackle that one. Once again unless you have the really right tools like I'm sure the shops do, the job for the Pro. I wasn't willing to tackle this one. Got to loosen the motor mount dropped the motor down a little bit just not my cup of tea I mean I could have done it I just chose not to and the result was I spent like $700 but my mechanic also gave me a 2-year warranty on both the parts and the labor if it were to fail then the alternator itself has a lifetime warranty. Can't go wrong with a warranty on that like that! When I bought the car there was a little bit of surface rust around the front fender wells. I have absolutely loved my Ford Focus I'm in the process right now of taking care of the body work that I have to do which again it's nothing but surface rust I'm going to be easy peasy or it has been so far and I'm going to paint the front fenders and the hood with one coat and I'm going to give the whole car a coat of paint using exactly what it came out of the factory with. Not necessarily OEM but it is the factory paint Oxford White. The car has been so good to me that I feel that I owe it to this car to make it look really nice. I mean it looks nice now but it's a 2004 is 2022 the car is 18 years old. Has got to be the factory paint job what's the exception of a few scratches here and there looks awesome hasn't oxidized or anything like that It was pretty awesome I also tended to windows practically black and I got a sunroof and everything works on the car just like it should. It's paid for and if I have to put you know a few hundred dollars into it every year for upkeep I'm good with that. I changed the oil religiously. The only thing I didn't like but at the same time it does have advantages is the way that the catalytic converter mounts directly to your manifold. But the positive side of that is I'll never have to worry about someone stealing my catalytic converter LOL.

2021 a5 PREM Plus; B&O 7th audi I've owned & they just keep getting better. Not a fan of the tap every time screen I want to do something feature which is fairly new. This one could be a keeper! The stereo is very high quality & handling rocks, quick & nimble. Sport suspension is a personal choice, always order it. Stiffer but smooth. Car is quite. Sport seats heated, heated mirrors, heated steering wheel. Need I say more?

I have a 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo 6 speed manual. Bought brand new and still own as of this review in 2025. I love the way the car looks. It actually has a design and doesn't just look like a wedge ( like a lot of hatchbacks do ). I currently have 97,000 miles on it with no problems to report. Just routine maintenance. Best advice is to replace the standard Hankook tires for some Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S. It is a day and night difference. Really wakes up the car in the handling department. I would highly recommend this model.

After changing jobs and having to drive 100 miles round trip, I decided to buy the 2023 Honda Civic, I think it was the best decision of my life, not only does it save me a lot of gas but it looks spectacular on the outside and not to mention The interior is simply perfect with a lot of space, like any criticism there are negative points such as the sound system which in my opinion lacks power to be able to listen to your favorite songs at full volume, another point that I would like to highlight is that it lacks entry to the car without having to use your remote control even my 2011 grand cherokee has it, in a general perspective it seems like a good car for price, safety and appearance, it has been my first honda and I think I will continue with the tradition of continuing to buy this model for a long time
