This car was purchased as a gift for my son to use to travel to his job out of town. He has a lease and I didn’t want him to rack up miles on his other car/lease. As a previous Prius owner, I know he would love another Prius to use daily. After this reliable vehicle is paid off, I plan to buy one for my other son and then a new one for myself! We love the hybrids in our family!

Some early reviewers did not like the power, but it has been fine for me. I am not racing anyone. I like the “magic seat” capability. That has been useful many times. Driven literally across the country — California to Florida — with little fatigue. 60,000 miles and no maintenance issues.

Had the C-Max Hybrid for about a month, and overall it's been a joy to drive. A real all-purpose vehicle that routinely achieves 35-40 mpg in the city, the primary reason we sought it out was it's amazing visibility. Our 6'-5" teenager has not problem getting comfortable behind the wheel, and I've never driven a vehicle that has such great viewing angles - you almost feel too exposed while driving! The regenerative brakes are typically more sensitive than regular brakes, but overall I have only praise for this very versatile little car!

Raheem made our car purchase easy and painless. This is the second car we have purchased from MAC in 3 years. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely keep MAC in mind for any future auto purchases!

I am happy with my Ioniq hybrid. The best thing has been the gas mileage; I get between 40-55 mpg. Definitely enjoying fewer stops at the gas station. When driving, it’s not super speedy off the line, but that is to be expected as I use “eco” mode and not the optional sport mode. I also like the safety features like collision warning, lane assist, and blind spot detection. They make me feel a little better when out on the freeway, like I have another set of eyes. Also 5 star crash safety ratings. I like the style and the hatchback for storage.

A straight forward economy car to save money but it is very comfortable and fun to drive because it's so light. The gas savings at almost 50mpg are amazing.

I recently bought a used 2016 Golf from the local VW car lot. It had previously been leased, had approx. 21,000 km and was in like-new condition. I was on the market for a newer hatchback (my last car was a 2006 Mazda 3 Sport) with more "bells and whistles". I narrowed it down to a newer Mazda 3 Sport and a VW Golf and chose the Golf because of its more streamlined, compact shape. The Golf has a shorter front end which I like the look of plus it makes it even easier to park. So far, I'm absolutely loving my new car and look forward to driving it every day!

It's a shame more people were not familiar with this car before Chevrolet stopped producing them. I drive on EV mode almost all the time, except when going on long trips. There is no range anxiety with the Volt. My car is averaging 181,000 MPG lifetime.

Was looking for a basic hatchback with good gas mileage that wasn't stupid expensive. Commute to work and so far combined I get 42mpg. Rides as good as any car I have owned (with one exception). Performance wise have no idea how old the reviewers are or even if they actually drove the car as it has no problem on the highway or in town driving, rarely do I exceed 4,000rpm to keep up with or ahead of traffic. It's like people don't remember how cars were in the past before the horsepower race to cram 250-350hp engines into everything. In town it's 0-30 that matters but even the 0-60 of 10.4 sec is equal to or better than most small cars from the 70's-90's. Only car I owned that was faster was my '73 Jaguar XJ12. Almost identical 0-60 were my CRX, Opel GT, 200sx. My Triumph Spitfire was way slower. But they were all fun cars to drive.

Love my KIA SOUL; wish it was Brand New. At my age It would be my best performance car in life.. I will never drive nothin else.. It is perfect in most all ways as for the performance concern.. Our first experience at Whitewater Motors was a very positive one. From the moment we walked into the building and were greeted by Bob to the time we signed all the paperwork with Mike. My 2012 Volt was purchased brand new on Groundhogs Day, 2012, and is now 14 years old! Knock on wood, I've not had any issues with it except a tire that doesn't hold air as well as the other 3 tires. And once all of the dashboard lights came on to “Check engine”. Turns out that the computer system in the car needed to be updated, and that was that. I mainly run it on electricity around town and to nearby areas, so the mileage is in the mid-50's. However, it has been driven numerous times from Ohio to Raleigh, NC, to the Outer Banks several times, to Maryland many times, and to the Adirondacks, and often to the Cleveland Airport. So it has been driven decent miles using gasoline as well. My mpg on gasoline is typically 42, but that can vary if driving over mountains vs flat land or city driving vs country roads. It has been a very comfortable car for me. The only downside has been that heated steering wheels were not offered back then. That is the only feature that I wish it had. I've put the backseats down and over the years have transported a kayak, a bicycle, and several other large items. So useful! Heated seats make me so warm that I rarely turn on the actual car heater, which of course, helps save the battery in winter. In the winter, my mileage has been 32 miles on complete battery. But this year, it's gone down to 29 as the battery is aging. However, in the Summer, I easily get 45-50 miles. Your mpg also depends on how you drive the car. I'm not heavy-footed and tend to coast toward a red light rather than gun it then slam on my brakes. What a waste of energy! The battery regenerates while coasting, so I often will coast down hills, too. The Volt has plenty of power if in a situation where you really need a quick blast to get out of a dangerous situation — especially if running on battery. It can be up to 60 in no time! BTW, the Volt's body has held up beautifully! It looks like a new car. It has never been garaged and has sat outside in the elements for the past 14 years. My plan is to run it for many more years until issues begin to arise. But at 55,000, she's still a young pup with lots more vim and vinegar. Fingers crossed! I only wish Chevy had not converted the Volt assembly line to trucks. I think they did the general public a disservice by discontinuing them. I would buy another one if they came back.

I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

2014 Elantra GT Manual 6 speed. 142k km. Only regular oil changes. No issues. Just changed "clutch kit" because clutch was not working at all sometimes, & slipping sometimes... turned out it was a broken spring on clutch plate. I am very happy with car. But I never had a clutch problem in my Life. I've had a standard Honda for 20 years, never a clutch problem. Cost was ~$1000 for new "clutch kit" replacement. Reasonable expense after 10 years. Overall, I am happy with 2nd hand purchase 8 years ago. Thanks.

This is the second sol I have owned and I couldn't be happier. Although both were bought in Tucson Arizona the dealership in Lawrence Kansas has been great. I haven't been notified of a recall on my car I am concerned about the anti theft device I have been hearing about and the oil ring problem in some of the 2020 sols. Just a little worried my car may have this problem. Any info would be great.

On the 2020 recall, dealer fixed it with no problem, offered a loaner car for the duration. Very good gas mileage. Also, dealer will now install anti-theft system, all with NO CHARGE.

I had to take a car back due to unforeseen circumstances on my side and it was easy as they helped me to find something more affordable and reliable in my price range. I took the current vehicle to my mechanic and not a issue at all. I have been working with Daniel Ross for months to find something and he is amazing and treats folks as he would wish to be treated. I've now had my 2020 Soul for almost 3 years. Keep in mind I have the manual 6 speed not an automatic and was the base model. First gear is VERY low compared to any other 4 cylinder engine manual I've had so it can be a little jerky until you figure it out. I've gotten as much as 45mpg on the highway by not driving 70 mph. It can hold its own on the highway amd not burn gas like other models. Although not listed in the US it does have the capability to pull small trailers if you purchase an aftermarket hitch and wiring kit. The trunk space although appears small from the outside is actually quite deep. I do craft shows and people can't believe how much I am able to keep on there when I fold the seats down especially. At 6'4" with the seat lift as high as it will go I still have about 5 inches above my head. That was one of the key benefits that sold me. Even with my seat back people behind me still have room vs the compact cars in the same price point. I'm concerned with the recall notices I have received however, knock on wood they have not included my car yet or unaware if my Vin is included so to keep an eye out for issues. I live Android Auto however, you can not use a cheap USB cable from 5 below. I had to purchase one from best buy. It didn't need to be top of the line, the generic brand worked but they're just built better apparently. The tires that come with the vehicle are cheap. They will get you to 30k miles however, mine were cracked between each tread after maybe a year. It looked like a dryrot crack yet my vehicle doesn't sit around. This model can take traditional oil, blend or full synthetic which is nice. Overall I do love my little car especially as gas prices have increased. It allows me to do everything I want without the extra expense of purchasing a small SUV nor the gas of a small SUV and I'd consider purchasing another one down the line.

Not once did I feel pressured to purchase, even after I took all 3 cars to the test drive. They gave me enough space and time to decide, and kept answering all my questions. I was impressed they knew the cars’ history very well and weren’t trying to hide anything from me. I got kia Sorento in the end, and it was a good experience. Highly recommend!

The Kia Soul is great for commuting and getting around town. It gets very good mileage and has everything I need to get comfortably from point A to point B. It's not a "Grand Tourer." It won't set your heart aflutter as your roar down the interstate. But it's comfortable to drive, the styling is good (I kind of like the older model years slightly better), and the features are well thought out and valuable. I REALLY like the Kia Soul! The one I won now is my second one, and I wouldn't be surprised if I end up with another some day.

If you haven’t heard of this place you are missing out. I had the best experience with Alec here. He doesn't talk to you like a car salesman, he talks to you like a caring human being. He spent all the time I needed walking though the inventory, and having a number of test drives! I got a new car today and they approved me at the very best rate too! Def recommend this spot, they are legit.
