Used Honda Accord for sale near Beaumont, TX under $3,000

I have owned a honda accord since 1989. I still own my 2004 V6 coupe it's still very reliable, it's my back up car. I own a 2018 accord too. My 1989 accord lasted 360,000 miles before I got a 2000 accord. Great cars. The body needs painting from CA sun ruining it after 20 years but it will cost too much to repaint! But I still drive it!

2002 Honda Accord V-6 EX. Best car I have ever owned. Elderly woman drove it to the grocery store, the Doctor's office and church. It was a garage find in 2017. 15 years old at the time with 22K miles. Everything looked like new. It still smelled new.... 3k dollars and out the door. New tires and off on a road trip to Colorado from South Florida. 107K miles now. Just replaced all brake calipers, rotors and pads. New speed sensor on the trans cured "shift issues". All new tune-up, engine seals including oil pan gasket. EVERYTHING works. LOVE THIS CAR!!

This is the first Honda I have owned and I absolutely love my car. I've always like to looks of the 6th gens and got mine for a smoken price from my co-worker. This car is super easy to work on. Especially with all of the videos that are out there. I've done all kinds of upgrades to it and parts are pretty reasonable. I just did a motor swap on it. It only had 369,000 +/- miles and it still has the original automatic transmission. Infact, most of if not all the parts I have replace where original. What an amazing car.

Man it’s 2025 and my 2005 4banger Honda accord is pushing great. Nothing but oil changes, battery change. Thing just keeps going. Current mileage 205,000… still makes it from Sacramento California to San Diego no problem.

I am the second owner of this vehicle going on 26 years old. It has 217,000 miles and is still running strong. I am a stickler about regular maintenance. What I do regret is I goofed up and neglected to change the transmission fluid over 100 K miles.Got a code PO 740 and man said that is death knell code for the transmission. Got a code PO 740 and man said that is death knell code for the transmission. I changed out the TCC solenoid myself and changed the transmission fluid two times. Gonna do a third time. But tranny behavior is much improved. and this week I’m going to drain and fill transmission fluid for a third time. I don’t wanna lose my Honda, honey!

I own the car for almost 20 years now. ZERO issues, runs smooth and am gifting it to my son who will take it to another state. It can easily last another 7-10 years if he can take care of it. You cannot easily beat an Accord. It’s a rock solid car.

The only issue I had with mine was the led taillights that didn’t always work properly and it was frustrating because they would work perfectly for a while but started having some of the led lights would appear out and give the impression of a problem with them

Stylish V6 Accord in forest green. Sharp ride with a fine beige leather interior. I loved this car. She drove smoothly and had some pull in the acceleration. Roomy for bigger folks like me and well laid out in buttons, panels, etc. Sorry to have to retire the old girl. She stood by me for fifteen years.

I currently own a 2006 Honda Accord that I purchased in 2008 from a Honda dealer. The car is solid. I currently have 580000 km on it! I have not had any issues with the engine or the transmission. I only do regular maintenance on the car like oil changes, transmission fluid, brakes, etc. Great car!!!

I have had the Honda LX for almost 3 1/2 years now and it’s such a reliable car. It drives good (and I drive it hard may I add) have only had to fix the brakes and roders just a week ago, it does burn oil like crazy and I replaced a couple tires that kept popping but other than that it’s good on gas, a smooth ride, I never plug it in in the winter and may I add it gets to -30 here and it starts every time. My car is all black tinted led lights she is nice to look at beautiful body (model) I like this car out of the 13 cars I’ve had and this is one of the older cars too I’ve had but I just love it for some reason. I would definitely recommend it. I purchased mine for a little over $7600 from a family member did some upgrades to it take good care of it mechanically the inside is always clean (some scruffs here and there as it’s an older car) but I’m sure i could sell it for $5500-$6000. Definitely a good buy and worth it.

Easy to drive, easy to park, glorious looking and fast as lightning especially with a 5 speed manual transmission.

Purchased a used 2002 accord V6 ex coupe from a friend (1st owner) with 138,000 kms. Only service he did since ownership was new tires, battery, oil changes. When I bought the car I replaced all 4 brake pads & rotors. Drove it until 150,000 kms, then replaced timing belt & water pump, front engine mount. Couple months after the rear wheel bearings got noisy was replaced. I also received a letter from Honda to recall the Takata airbags, was replaced no charge at the dealership . At 192,000 kms oil pan started to leak a bit of engine oil, & transmission oil hose to engine leaked. Tranny oil and hose replaced. Next oil change I’ll be getting the oil pan gasket replaced. Owned the car for 3 years ( since 2018). A friend sold the car to me for a good deal. Spent over $3,000 CAN in repairs. Overall still a good vehicle after putting 42,000 kms since my ownership. Air conditioning still blows cold with no recharging required. Digital odometer sometimes goes blank on&off 30% of the time but comes back eventually. Factory 16” alloy wheel paint peeling off. Body paint is intact. Engine and transmission is smooth with lots of power even for today’s standard. Regarding fuel economy I get an Average of 24mpg. I’m aware of “transmission issues” on these models thus making sure to replace tranny oil every 40-50 thousand kms with Genuine Honda fluid is important. My recommendation for people interested in buying one is to make a vehicle checklist before hand that way you won’t miss on anything, Or if not mechanically inclined best to bring the vehicle to a shop for inspection prior to purchase.

The last of the great accords. Purchased 2007 accord ex 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine in 2011 with 46,000 miles. I currently have 160,000 miles on the car. Up to recently it was just basic maintenance, oil brakes and tires etc. I had no mechanical repairs until the car was 16+ years and 150k miles, then it was just starter, control arms and 1 lower ball joint. The check engine light came on recently for the 1st time ever at 159,000. It was an oxygen sensor which I was able to replace myself. Before this car I had a VW jetta where the check engine was never off. Great car it runs and drives the same as when I first got it. Hope to drive for another 100k miles.

On a separate side note, Honda is known in the automotive community for reliability. Low maintenance cost is a secondary positive of this vehicle. The second positive attribute of this vehicle is the fuel-efficiency of the 4-cylinder engine. Gets around 25-30 mpg if driven conservatively. Varies depending on the configuration of your vehicle. The third positive attribute of this vehicle is the NHTSA Safety Rating. The driver and passenger side received 5/5 stars in testing, while the side and rollover components of the test received 4/5 stars. The fourth positive attribute of this vehicle is some of its features. Some of the more notable features include the power windows, radio, and the ice-cold a/c capabilities. The fifth positive attribute of this vehicle is the optional towing package you can have installed with a Second-Party installer. The sixth positive attribute of this vehicle is that it is perfect for high school or college students. The seventh positive attribute of this vehicle is the lower insurance rates. The third negative attribute of this vehicle is that it requires the user to basically fall back into a couch to get in the front seat. Not recommended for plus-sized people or people who have disabilities or conditions that prevent them from entering a car this way. The fourth negative attribute is that DIY Modifications / Additions are not recommended. Honda will void warranties on anything that is not OEM. All aftermarket additions are at risk with their current policy. The fifth negative attribute is the power steering fluid module. Units love to consistently leak and cause the vehicle to have difficulty turning. The sixth negative attribute is a lower towing capacity. The seventh negative attribute is no 4x4. I agree with most of the ratings except I don't know how it gets a 4.4 for comfort. The driver's seat is terrible. No matter how I tried to adjust it I end up with a sore back.

i have driven 1980s Accords for 30+ years so it took a little getting used to the much larger size of this gen of Accord when parking and maneuvering. the handling is a little mushy, probably because i have the sedan. my friend has an 07 coupe which has tighter handling. and no review would be complete without a mention of the famous durability/dependability of Honda vehicles! i am very happy with this car. :)

In 2017 I bought the car with 191,000 for $1,400. It's a Florida car, so no rust. Even though I paid dearly for a new radiator, fuel pump, and rack and pinion, I still consider it a good car. Due to age, various interior buttons and switches are dry rotting and falling apart. It has all its original factory parts-- zippy 4 cylinder engine, nice sound system, non-leaking moon roof, cassette/CD player, cold a/c, Honda rims. Its sporty and fun to drive. I just pray it'll last til I get something newer, at which time I'll donate it charity.

I bought this car new in 5/2000 and drove it 191k miles. I never had a break down or major repair. I kept up the suggested maintenance all the time I owned it. I purchased another car this year but just cannot love it like my Accord.
