Used Honda Accord for sale near Grandwood Park, IL under $25,000

A few weeks ago I purchased a used car at McGrath Acura in Libertyville and wanted to share my experience. When I arrived I was greeted by Ethan Sevilla. Ethan was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and understood just what I was looking for. From beginning to end Ethan explained every detail and answered all my questions. Love my 2020 Accord EX-L...very roomy and it has a very comfortable interior. It has a few things missing that surprises me on an EX-L trim such as courtesy lights in the doors. Honda has the knockouts but no wiring harness. The lights are only available on the most expensive Touring model which is ridiculous as this is a $20 item. Honda also has chosen to not have the lights on the trunk light up when you hit the brakes...they are only reflectors but do light up on the Touring model. I HOPE AND PRAY THAT MY PAINT DOES NOT CHIP OFF LIKE IS HAPPENING ON SO MANY HONDA'S. I had the paint chip off the car on my 2008 Civic and on the roof of my 2014 PIlot. Of course Honda takes no responsibility for this even though its happening to countless Honda customers across many years and models. They have already chosen to remove the sunroof as standard on many Pilot models as well.

We got the Honda Accord. Ken, the Sales Consultant knows his field. It’s just frustrating because there’s a long wait for the financing office. We stayed 5 hours in the dealership & it’s mostly waiting for the financial office to process our papers.

Bought my 2015 Honda Accord LX used in 2018 with 42K on the odometer. It now has just over 100K and has for most of the past 7 years been a very good vehicle overall, requiring only manufacturer recommended routine maintenance. Within the past year, however, it has needed to have the starter replaced and repair work done on the air conditioning unit. The cost of those repairs totaled about $1,200. Not too bad for over 7 years of regular driving. I'm still really pleased with the performance of the vehicle. Handling, acceleration and braking are truly excellent. I'm most impressed by the gas mileage. On a recent 2,400 mile round-trip from Florida to Pennsylvania the car averaged just over 41 mpg. In local mixed driving it consistently gets between 35-37 mpg. Getting that type of gas mileage with the kind of performance it provides is hard to beat!

Had a problem with the service department on Saturday when price at payment time was more then discussed. Left dealer pissed off and called when I got home with a cooler head. Nothing was accomplished so I wrote a review that was seen by upper management. Saturday afternoon a gentleman named Mark called to discuss the issue with me. After talking in order to keep me happy and being a returning customer he first had offered his apology for the misunderstanding then refunded the entire service charge price to me. This showed me they're a stand-up dealership. The icing on the cake was the owner Dave called me on Sunday to apologize and assure me he was behind the total refund. I've had a 2015 honda accord sport since Nov 2018 and I've had no issues until recently, I think my catalytic converter is starting to have problems. The power seems to be diminished. That is the only problem that I've had with the car all this time. Very dependable car this is my third Honda accord

This is a solid comfortable car nearing luxury status. My only concern is the infotainment system freezing at times and ignition loses connection with the FOB every once in awhile.

I Love my honda just wish the seats would go higher they seam to sit very low, the passenger mirrow gets in the way for me im a shorty but other than that it’s amazing im a Honda person….

Great car. Gas mileage is excellent. Wish interior was a lighter. I would also like to have the safety features a little bit easier to know if activated or not.

3 main qualities I look for when shopping for a car are good mpg, plenty of space, and a bit of get up n go power. I feel like I easily got everything I wanted and as a bonus also ended up with a great looking car as well as reliable. You can easily achieve low 40’s mpg on the highway with the 1.5L motor. That’s even better than my wife’s hybrid suv. My one and only minor complaint is that I feel like the wheels are a bit too big. Maybe I’m just acting like an old man, even at 42 years old LoL but I prefer rims a bit smaller but with meatier tires. Unfortunately Honda didn’t make very many of the LX models which come with 17” rims instead of the 19’s like my Sport has. So you do feel bumps in the road pretty good with those low profile tires.

This is hands down the best car I have ever owned!! I've had it 11 years and my 2014 Honda Accord has never needed a repair. I have only ever had to do regular maintenance on it (battery, brake pads, tires, etc). What an incredible value at $22K!!! One feature that has been buggy is the infotainment/Bluetooth but I can live with it.

Overall my Pearlita has been beyond reliabe, comfy, Greatbon gas and roomy However hit 65k and worries began. Replaced gasket, recommended spark plugs begore my 100 k mark.. Def recommend warranty. Lodi Honda took care of me!

Got this car as part of a trade with my 2013 Chevy Malibu. It's not a bad car did have a few issues with the spark plugs that came out of nowhere. And they had to be replaced along with a few other issues but outside of that it's been a pretty reliable car that has gotten me from point a to point b. Everything works well the Bluetooth has worked wonders along with the seats being comfortable and it drives smooth.

500 miles a week on the GSP and the comfort in my 4 door Honda Accord is unmatched with the wide leather seats and the smooth ride. Change the oil when the wrench light is on and still going strong at 160,000k miles. 34.5 mpg average for highway travel.

My wife and I purchased a used 2018 Accord EX in early 2021. Best sedan we've owned up to date. The only reason we traded it in recently was to buy something bigger (Acura MDX) as our family has outgrown the Accord. I wasn't a big fan of the cvt, but the car makes up for it in other ways. It had all the safety features you would need in day to day life, mpg was never a problem yet had plenty of power to get up and go, overall a very fun car to drive. We live in Southern Iowa, but traveled to Omaha, Minneapolis, and took a family road trip to the Great smoky mountains in Tennessee. The car never gave us a single problem the entire time we owned it. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone.

I purchased a used 2020 Honda Accord Sport and love it. 41 to 48 miles per gallon. Runs and rides awesome. Always wanted one and will stick with Hondas going forward.

I have liked working with Ray (especially Rob in service) since they took over the Jeeps on the Run sponsorship a couple years ago but I probably took them for granted. It took me moving out of state and having my new dealership trying to pull a fast one on me regarding a MOPAR service contract to make me appreciate them even more. Rob took the time to help me (a customer that is now out of state and will not be using his service department) so I could set the new place straight!

This is the "bottom of the line" 1.5L Turbo Accord and it regularly gets over 40 mpg on the highway. If you need power in a hurry, stomp the gas and feel the turbo kick in. The seats are a little low but what can you expect when the car design is so sleek? It holds the road like no car I've ever owned and is very responsive accelerating or just driving. Road noise can be a nuisance but the ride is smooth. I personally don't like the screen interface sticking out of the dashboard and I think all levels of Accord should come with an electric driver's seat. The paint job is great, the car looks great, and it is a real value for your money
