Used Honda CR-V for sale near Rankin, PA under $25,000

Our vehicle now has 150,000 miles. Its performing great. Pretty good gas mileage and has had minimal service other than routine. It does have a rattle when first starting car. We had that fixed ($800) but now it's back. Dang. The one exterior design problem we face is the latch for the rear hatch. The location is poor. EVERYONE tries to open the hatch just under the window where there is a cut out and has pulled off trim and messed with the back up camera. I've noticed that has been fixed on newer models. It does not seem to do really well in the snow due to the weight distribution. Even with new tires. But its been super dependable and has been our people and dog moving car for 10 years and has really held up well.

To many recalls.rear axle shaft boot ,fuel pump,magnet in steering for power steering. Padding in interior to thin, engine noise,inside.injectors replaced.cant get parts.might not buy a Honda ,next time.

My front brakes and rotors needed to be replaced at 33K miles on a 2018 Buick Enclave. Total repair including the recommended brake fluid flush came to $601 including Pa. state tax. So without tax about $540. That seems high. Might try Midas or some other local garage next time. I question if I really needed the rotors replaced. I paid more but maybe got a good job done, and quality GM parts. Complimentary safety inspection and top off all fluids. I would have been nice to see a report of the inspection. Like measurement readings or what was inspected. Ex. even though my TPMS (tire pressure) was not lit, I knew one of my tires was low about 29-30 psi. According to OnStar Recommended tire pressure: Front: 35psi | Rear: 35psi I still saw my tires low. I think a little more information would be good.

Roomy , great gas mileage. Only problem is loud road noise, sometimes problem connecting phone to radio. Heat and air work really good. Nice interior, window fogs a lot.

Bought this CRV AWD Touring new in 2019. Have 130,000 miles on it, no problems. Only time it’s at the dealership is for regular service. Gets 33 to 36 MPG . Excellent vehicle!

It's longer than most SUVs. I've been able to haul both drywall and plywood still closing the rear door. It's been great to travel with, the back seats fold all the way down.

I bought the 2020 CR-V new in July 2020 and as of December 2024, have 39K miles on it. I have taken it to the dealer for regular maintenance. It has been trouble-free and drives very well. If I have one complaint, it's the glitchy infotainment system. I have had to do a factory reset on the infotainment system twice. Otherwise, a wonderful vehicle.

We own 2 2020 Honda CRV EX-L and cannot be happier. We both love all the features that came with them. If you want to buy a Honda CRV around this time frame, had another one a 2019, traded it for the 2020 which had lower mileage and a color we really wanted. If buying one, go for the EX-L, well worth the little more money for what you get. Those that write negative reviews about this car...well I just don't get it. Maybe got a bad one and dealer not any good in helping them. We had some very minor issues with ours but Bianchi Honda Of Erie PA took care of everything and no hassle. As far as the electronics and main control screen, it can be a little bit of a nightmare if one is not electronically inclined. But our dealer Bianchi Honda Of Erie PA gave a thorough explanation of the basics. I figured out the rest myself by reading the manual and watching the many videos available by Honda on the many other features. All the cars we got were Preowned Certified and looked brand new.

I purchased this vehicle the first year that Honda came out with the CRV. My boyfriend was a Honda Mechanic at the dealership where I purchased it & he did all the scheduled maintenance. And scheduled maintenance was the only thing I had to do the 4+ years I owned it. Once I paid it off, I’d had it 4 1/2 to 5 year’s & I’d put over 100k on it. I traded it for a new Honda Element. I’ll never forget the 45 minute drive home in the Element…. My 5 year old daughter cried hysterically the entire drive because I had traded our CRV. Turned out the Honda Element, seemed roomier but really wasn’t. Only seated 4, which ended up being a problem. We absolutely LOVED our 1997 CRV & have owned 3 more since! This Is a well made, mechanically sound vehicle!

This is my third Honda vehicle so needless to point out that I am a fan of the brand. My 2019 CR-V Touring is a good SUV. Before purchasing it I researched comparable vehicles and in the end my final decision was the CR-V and I am happy with my purchase. We have driven it on vacations of over 2000 miles and not one back ache. The only improvement I can think of would be if it had a tilt steering wheel. Gas mileage varies and I generally get about 33mpg combining city and highway. On trips I got as high as 38mpg. All things considered it is a good vehicle if you need an SUV.

Bought new in 2000. 217000 miles in 2021. Only ever needed scheduled maintenance except a little valve work at 180,000 miles when the check engine light came on. I couldn’t sense any cylinder issues, but my state requires that check engine issues be fixed before they renew the tag. Here’s a tip about the grade logic system. If you’re slowly accelerating up a gentle incline and the car will not produce a gear shift when you know it should, just jiggle the shift lever up into neutral and immediately back down into drive. The transmission will find the next gear. Do not take your foot off the accelerator and do not linger in neutral. The engine won’t rev and the transmission will shift smoothly if you do it quickly.

Staff was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work more so than other dealers we had visited. Process to buy the car was about a half and hour. We would definitely refer friends and family to the auto mall.

My dad bought this car around 2010. Used it, gave it to my mom, my mom gave it to me in 2020. Rarely had issues. Hearty car, withstood my neglect. Never needed anything other than oil changes. It got totaled in an accident last week. I'm grieving the loss. This car was a champion until the very end. RIP Barbara.

I guess they really work with all kinds of credit. I would recommend them to anyone. I didn’t have that much to put down and they worked really hard to find me a car that worked with my down payment. We bought our CPO 2006 CR-V SE in 2008 with 19K miles. It replaced a 2000 CR-V with 180K miles, and the 2.4L/5 speed felt so much peppier in the mountains than the old 2.0L/ 4 speed. It now has 243K trouble-free miles and has been passed down from Mom to our teen daughters. Everyone who gets in is amazed that it's so much roomier in both rows than the outside would suggest. Lots of cargo room, too. Simple, ergonomic dashboard controls. Love the dash-mounted shift lever and flip-up center console. Leather seats are tough as nails and still look good. It's fun to drive. Not overpowered, but feels peppy and responsive, revs easily and smoothly when you punch the throttle to merge or pass. Great outward visibility. Tight steering, firm brake feel. Very maneuverable in tight spaces. Best feature is the low, low cost of operation. It has never broken down. No expensive timing belt services. The only non-routine repairs were a thermostat at 190K, brake pads at 210K, and a knock sensor at 240K. We just can't seem to spend money on this vehicle. Everything works, AC blows cold, starts every time, runs smoothly, plenty of power for mountain driving. The flaws I've noted are relatively few. One, seats are contoured for smaller people. That's us, so we're fine, but larger people probably would not be happy. Two, the seats fold and tumble, so you don't get a full-length flat load floor. It holds a lot, but you have to load vertically. Third, the cupholders are poorly designed and don't seem to fit any common drink sizes in the US. Four, the rear cargo door swings to the wrong side for curbside loading in the US. In my opinion the 2006 SE was the best CR-V ever made, and I've already put my daughters on notice that when they move on, it's mine.
