Used Honda CR-V Hybrid Touring for sale near Melrose Park, IL

I recently purchased my new 2025 Subaru Outback Wilderness from Autobarn Subaru Countryside, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish! A bit pricey and mpg declines much faster than expected. Takes awhile to get it back closer to advertised. Other than that,I have been happy with this vehicle.

With 40-48 mpg around town and close to 40 mpg on the highway, we have saved several thousand dollars on gas by trading our Odyssey for this CRV-hybrid. It can carry a lot of baggage and is really comfortable on long trips. Great heating and cooling system, top-notch reliability with low maintenance costs. Our other car is a 2014 CR-Z hybrid, and we've owned 8 Hondas to date.

We are very happy with the car’s performance and comfort. The only two issues we’ve run into are one, the mileage we’re getting isn’t close to what was on the sticker, and two, the computer/entertainment system has had to be rebooted and the car restarted on several occasions for it to work properly. We’ve also had to change the cable fairly frequently to sinc with the iPhone.

This was the best experience we have ever had purchasing a car! Every single salesperson and supporting staff were amazing. We especially appreciated salespeople who were not pushy! I love my CRV Hybrid. It is roomy, comfortable, dependable and safe. My grandchildren are messy and it is so easy clean. We are all very happy with my little singing Hybrid.

Excellent performer. Plenty of zip and power. I’ve recorded 39.6 mpg in warm weather last year. Down and back to Florida was recorded at 38.8. Very spacious, excellent cargo capacity. I’m 6’9” and am comfortable behind the wheel.

This is our eighth CRV, starting with a 1999. The model hasn't change all that much the past several years, nor should they. Stylish, dependable, great gas mileage (32-41) and just an all around great vehicle. We looked at the newest model but were really put off by the styling. We traded our 2019 Honda Odyssey for this CR-V Hybrid AWD thinking the better mileage would pay for itself in years to come. Our Odyssey was worth so much in trade that the cost to us for the CR-V was only $4,000. The CR-V averages about 41mpg in town and has gotten as high as 48mpg. On the highway, at 75 and in cruise control, we get 35mpg and as high as 39mpg. The Odyssey got 16/26. The CR-V is so comfortable and has so many safety features that it gives us a feeling of security when driving. One small complaint: Honda should have kept the shift lever instead of changing to buttons. The 2024 model has the shift lever back.

I will definitely be back, because even though Dealerships are usually more expensive, the stellar customer service that Evan displayed is absolutely priceless and makes it all worth it. So I've owned my 2020 Honda CR-V for 2 years now. It's been overall a great and reliable vehicle. I originally wanted to upgrade from my Civic Hatchback to a truck but didn't want to sacrifice fuel economy or spend $40,000+ for a good truck. We bought my wife a 2019 CR-V EX FWD the previous year and we really enjoyed driving it and loved the cargo space and comfortable seating in the back for when we were traveling with others. When I saw the Hybrid model was released I decided to check it out. It checked off most everything on my list that I was wanting from a truck overall since I didn't need it to tow things and while I couldn't load everything in the trunk with the seats folded down, like I could in the bed of a truck, I definitely could load a lot of things when needed and it was good on gas and I could get it for about $32,000. So in the end it was a great fit. We've loved having 2 CR-V's and normally will take mine on day trips mainly because it has AWD and my wife's doesn't but the one area I've been disappointed in with the vehicle is Highway MPG. My wife's CR-V is rated at 34mpg on the highway and my CR-V Hybrid is rated at 35mpg on the highway. When we take her car on long road trips she gets about 32-35mpg like advertised and these trips are 95% highway. When we take mine on the same trip my fuel economy is much worse dropping to 27-30mpg and I'm driving in both scenarios. Now when I drive normally, like when I'm going to work or to run errands throughout the week, the fuel economy is great, even getting up to 40mpg on average at times but usually around 36-39mpg. I've asked Honda why my car is rated as being better on the highway compared to my wife's CR-V and yet my car is far worse on the highway and I was basically told I'm not driving it correctly. It's definitely an annoyance but since we have my wife's CR-V available to take on the long trips it works out for our uses.

Likes: Reliability, short turning radius, front and rear seating is comfortable and spacious. Ride is fine for us. Adaptable cruise is GREAT, except with snow or even rain (sometimes) it is disabled. Dislikes: Road noise pretty noticeable on many roads...I suspect tires. Speaking of (Hankook) tires, vehicle has 25k on it and tires are pretty worn already. Tires are rated for 70k when I shop...good luck on that. Center console not designed well imo. Floor mats started pulling snaps up almost immediately (driver's side). And one other thing (my fault)...I assumed car this well equipped (and pricy) would have backup sensors. IT DOES NOT. You'll have to go to Touring for that. Guess I should have checked. Would buy again, but might bite the bullet and get a Touring.
