Used Honda Odyssey vehicles for sale near Sewaren, NJ

I was a somewhat unusual customer in that I was an out of state purchaser for a limited availability Civic Type R. I had the most exceptional experience with the team at Hillside Honda - Edwin Luzon and Eli Hartley - who were both supremely courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I truly couldn't have asked for a better deal or purchasing experience with them. They are an asset to the Hillside team. My phone calls were returned promptly, no request was too hard, and their service was top notch. Upon arriving to collect the car, Edwin professionally too me through the paperwork, dominated all the features of the car, and sent me on my way with helpful directions to get out of the city.

Not a big fan of the breaking system which wears out the brakes if you follow vehicles close. Interior storage spaces are much smaller or non existent. Interior much more cheaply made and does not last nearly as long.

As a new customer I was pleased way beyond what I was expecting the sales girl named Florey Hasan did a fantabulous job from the point I went there till the time I was handed the suv she is well experienced and well mannered as my personal opinion I believe if someone as knowledgeable as Florey the company would not just grow but take things to new heights I personally thank hillside Honda for hiring a talent which is not possible with great knowledge and skills to get easily among young people

This is my second Honda Odyssey Elite having traded in my 2019 for a 2023. Why did I make the trade? I hadn't had any problems with my 2019, but the trade in value of my 2019 made the purchase of a 2023 a "no brainer". I had considered purchasing a Toyota Sienna Platinum because of the fuel economy. But the price of the Toyota was so much higher than the Honda, especially when you consider that the Rear Seat Entertainment System costs extra on the Toyota and dealers are adding premiums above MSRP. I calculated I would have to drive the a Toyota around 80,000 miles before I would actually begin saving money on gasoline.

The ride is smooth and is specifically made to be a family car. The only issue is it’s slow 0-60 second acceleration at about 8.3 seconds but that’s not really what the car was made for, just wish it could go a little quicker. Compared this with the Toyota Sienna is that the Sienna is slightly a bit quicker. However, the Odyssey has way better styling and in my personal opinion one of the nicest minivans you could get back in the 2010s.

I have had Marcy, Joe, and Anthony at the Collision Center work on my car twice. In September and November, the team at Schumacher Collision did a fantastic job repairing the damage and the paintwork. Marcy is knowledgeable about the insurance process with USAA and is communicative. Marcy is also very good at estimating the work time and sharing delays. Both Anthony and Joe worked very hard to have my car repaired quickly and correctly. They share their knowledge about the repair process and any potential issues that could delay the repair. I greatly appreciate the safety assessment determining whether I could continue driving the car while waiting for parts. They promptly submitted all documentation to USAA and informed me directly or through Marcy. Any concern brought up within the week after the repair garnered an immediate response! Having my car repaired by them was a privilege, and I hope I do not see them any time soon! LOL. I recommend them to anyone with a tri-coat! ------------- Individual Visit Reviews---------------- After my first accident, I had difficulty finding a professional body shop that was interested in listening to my concerns. When I purchased the car, I was strongly advised to avoid paint damage due to the challenges of correcting the iridescent pearl tri-coat. So when I had the accident, I was concerned the car would look terrible, especially after reading horrible experiences online with other tri-coated cars. When I called Marcy after seeing the Schumacher Chevy, she reassured me that the team has worked with tri-coats and informed me of the repair process. Marcy's knowledge helped me get my car into the shop and locate a local enterprise for a decent car rental. The car looked great afterward, and I liked being informed of the process. Joe went over the car repair with me and ensured I was satisfied. Joe also informed me of any significant issues Schumaur Service Center could handle. This was in September 2023, and repairs took about two weeks. Luck would have it. I would return in November of 2023 because of a buck accident. As devastated as I was, Anthony completed my assessment and informed me that I should not drive the car for safety purposes. By this time, my lights were practically gone. I was informed that the repair would take some time, but I was happy that my safety was prioritized. They also completed a service visit to ensure everything was working fine before returning it. Like before, I was updated on what was going on, such as how long it was expected to take, why; when my parts arrived, and when the car was in the service shop. Joe and I reviewed the car again with no concern. This repair took about eight weeks.

This is our second odyssey, love the can with all the safety features. We have had great reliability, and now have just under 100,000 miles (99683) and have had only minor issues. Normal wear items plus an injector problem repaired under warranty. A few recall items ( door handles, back up camera fuel pump) all taken care of under warranty Love this vehicle, love it and will buy another when they redesign it. Rides very well, has a ton of safety features, interior is very comfortable. Highly pleased.

My husband and I could not be happier with the service we received at VW in Fair Lawn, NJ. Right from the beginning to the end, everything went smoothly. I highly recommend them. JOSE MALDONADO was our Sales Rep. He was GREAT to work with...go see him!!! He is very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. There was absolutely NO pressure from him...he took his time with us and answered all of our questions. There is nothing worse than looking for a new car, going into a car dealership and feeling the intense pressure from the sales representative, and there was none of that. We also want to give a "Shout Out" to Tina, Don & Jason. Thank you for everything! We felt like we have know all of you before. It was hands down the best time we ever had purchasing a car. My family (not me yet, because I'm 15 1/2) has had two Honda Odysseys over the past 9 years. As far as I can remember, the first one caused us very little issue beyond some A/C issues. It was totaled after some doofus hit us while attempting to cut across three lanes of very busy traffic. We bought a second one with just over 100K miles and it was great for a good while. The first repair I can recall was the brake rotors becoming warped and vibrating quite a bit under braking. For a while it was fine, and then small things began to go wrong. Sliding door stuttering (still works for the most part), hydraulics for the trunk going out (sub $100 fix), interior lights dying because of age, and navigation system becoming quite glitchy (DVD is from 2010 anyway). The only larger things are oil and power steering leaks (which are annoying, but manageable), A/C going out,and suspension gettting less firm. The main things still work, though. If you have a little bit of money to cover minor repairs as they come about, and take care of it and treat it like a minivan (not a sports car, because that's not what it is), I would recommend this minivan to the average Joe. As a matter of fact, I'm looking for one as my first car.

Love most things about this car but today's cars have way too many buttons and gadgets that aren't necessary - too distracting. This one hugs the road well, handles nicely, rides very comfortably. We've driven Honda's since 1978 and find them very reliable and trustworthy cars.

Its excellent for familys with kids!! u can remove the whole middle row too. Super comfy, love the 2nd row captains chairs. the tv is a life saver, and i would super recommend this! im a dad of 5 so its perfect. I only am rating this bcs i love odysseys and the seller is super nice. Have actually 2 odysseys at home!

This is the best family car I’ve owned. The kids have their own entertainment while I can listen to my own music. Accessing the third row is no problem as the seat in the middle is removable and the pilot seats slide to the side, making it easy to get to the third row even when the pilot seats have car seats. It’s a wonderful car!

Sales person was extremely helpful. Made my decision process easier. I decided to lease a new vehicle after reviewing all the possibilities. I my glad I went back to Route 23 Honda

My family of 6 has had this van from coast to coast and it has been a dream, haven't had one problem. We keep it maintained from the dealership, no electrical or mechanical problems at all. Highly recomended
