Used Honda Odyssey for sale near West Laurel, MD under $40,000

We have now purchased 5 vehicles from Sport Honda, every time we are more impressed with our experience. They always seem to have the most competitive prices, a great selection and just super easy to work with. We have always been treated like family members, not as just another sale like most dealers. At this point there is just no need to even shop around, we save so much time and hassle to just go right to Sport. One thing that we have noticed that makes us really feel comfortable at Sport is there is no high pressure sales tactics, they just lay everything out and let you make your decision. We have a few other Honda dealers that are closer to us, but it is well worth a few extra miles to work with Sport. GREAT JOB SPORT HONDA, YOU NEVER DISSAPOINT US.

This is my second Honda Odyssey Elite having traded in my 2019 for a 2023. Why did I make the trade? I hadn't had any problems with my 2019, but the trade in value of my 2019 made the purchase of a 2023 a "no brainer". I had considered purchasing a Toyota Sienna Platinum because of the fuel economy. But the price of the Toyota was so much higher than the Honda, especially when you consider that the Rear Seat Entertainment System costs extra on the Toyota and dealers are adding premiums above MSRP. I calculated I would have to drive the a Toyota around 80,000 miles before I would actually begin saving money on gasoline.

My problem was with the AI contact point at King. Stupid me, I thought Olivia King was a person, and I emailed "her" several times with requests. Before I went in, cars.com asked me to review "her" and the email included a photo of a woman, again making me think I was dealing with a human. When I went in, I asked to speak with her, and was finally told she didn't exist. But was I embarrassed and did I feel stupid! It was very deceptive. And this is not how you want a customer to feel when you're selling something. You need to make it clear up front that the email contact is an AI contact, and any salesperson will be there to help at appointment time. Other than that, it was a good experience. King even allowed the car to be driven 33 miles to my mechanic for an inspection. That's extraordinary. The car was in good shape, and we closed after returning from the inspection.

My family of 6 has had this van from coast to coast and it has been a dream, haven't had one problem. We keep it maintained from the dealership, no electrical or mechanical problems at all. Highly recomended

Love most things about this car but today's cars have way too many buttons and gadgets that aren't necessary - too distracting. This one hugs the road well, handles nicely, rides very comfortably. We've driven Honda's since 1978 and find them very reliable and trustworthy cars.

This is our second odyssey, love the can with all the safety features. We have had great reliability, and now have just under 100,000 miles (99683) and have had only minor issues. Normal wear items plus an injector problem repaired under warranty. A few recall items ( door handles, back up camera fuel pump) all taken care of under warranty Love this vehicle, love it and will buy another when they redesign it. Rides very well, has a ton of safety features, interior is very comfortable. Highly pleased.

Love the heated front seats. Do not like access to rear seats past seats at doors. Has great pick up. Drives thru anything. Quiet. Great sound system. Cools and Heats entire van. Large windshield must have sunscreen or summers heat blisters interior.. A/C works great

We have only owned the vehicle for 3 days. But so far it seems like a great vehicle! Lots of room, comfortable, easy driving, lots of features including back up camera, passenger side cameras, and land departure warning system.

2009 Odyssey EX. Bought used with 193k miles. Couldn't be more reliable. Great design inside and out. Excellent structural integrity. Everything works. Built solid. Hauls xxx. I average 23 mpg overall with the 244 HP 3.5 V6.

The ride is smooth and is specifically made to be a family car. The only issue is it’s slow 0-60 second acceleration at about 8.3 seconds but that’s not really what the car was made for, just wish it could go a little quicker. Compared this with the Toyota Sienna is that the Sienna is slightly a bit quicker. However, the Odyssey has way better styling and in my personal opinion one of the nicest minivans you could get back in the 2010s.

Can’t beat the Odyssey for a family! Easy getting kids and gear in and out, great gas mileage, reliable, easy and comfortable driving. And it handles on the road like a car on highway, side roads and mountain roads.

Great vehicle! Gas mileage is amazing for an 8 passenger vehicle, love the cool box, love the blind spot camera, and the ride is very smooth. It's very safe too. When I was in a bad accident in my 2016 Odyssey my children and I came out with only two of us having minir injuries. Definitely recommend this van!

This car is wider than other minivans, providing more space and legroom for the kids. It drives ultra smooth and is super comfortable. Only complaint is that there is only 1 built in USB port and is located in the glove compartment.

I had a great experience with David Williams at Ourisman Kia Bethesda recently when buying a used Ioniq. He was extremely straightforward, helpful, and great to work with. Highly recommend. There was none of the usual (lousy) back and forth, playing games; everything was straightforward with no surprises, no hidden fees, no bait and switch like I've seen at other dealers. I greatly value that. I started on their website looking at one particular vehicle and David answered on chat when I indicated an interest. Before I got too invested he volunteered that there was minor damage on the vehicle that didn't show on pictures. Other dealers would have not said anything and let me come in (a decent drive away) to try to sell me on something else, but David didn't do that bait and switch so I really appreciated that. He had other similar vehicles in stock so I decided to come on in anyways. When I arrived, the vehicle was not only already ready to go, they had put it through their detailing process right before I arrived. David encouraged me to take a longer test drive, and I was able to get a feel for the vehicle in a low pressure situation. He drove with me on my request and was very patient in answering my questions about the car and the dealership. We worked together to find a good deal that benefited both of us and I walked away very happy; I hope David and Ourisman did too. I really appreciate that when we finally started talking numbers, there wasn't that constant back and forth "let me bring it to my manager" dance. It was a very fast turnaround on price negotiation and I'm glad we didn't have any wasted time. Finalizing the deal went smoothly without problems. We've had the car now for a week and it's been great. As I said it's been one of the best buying experiences I've had. A+, highly recommend, would go again. He listened and worked hard to get me the car I was looking for.... of course I did my research to know what I was looking for .... and more importantly, he found the car at the price I was looking for! 5 stars to Michael! Make sure he’s the person you use to find you the right car for the right price! He was very patient, professional and mindful! I also appreciate the length Carmax agreed to go to to ensure I was satisfied with the Vehicle to fix needed repairs. I give them 3.5-4 stars for that. I did not like the loaner car that Service put me... it was not good to borer line okay.

We looked at all van brands before picking the Odyssey. We also test drove the Toyota and Kia vans. The main feature that sold us was the second row seating. With the middle section out the two outside captains seats can slide from side to side as well as forward and rearward. They are called Magic Seats and are great. We slide our grandkids to the middle in case of a side impact. We have had some recalls, but none of them caused use any problems before they were repaired. We would buy this van again now. We have had it since new and now 40 months and 36,500+ miles we are happy.

We are looking at kiddo 4 on the way. My wife has wanted a van for some time, and we finally really need to use one. We found a great deal on a 2015 Odyssey... First, drive several. I have been in Siennas, but think they are an ugly car with a weird layout. I drove a caravan and Pacifica as well as a couple odyssey vans. The Honda is quieter and rides more like a car with a sportier suspension than the others. Second, what do you need. I was close on a newer Pacifica as it had all the bells and whistles, but the Honda holds value better and we found one with almost the same. Third, accept it, it is a van, it’s not “fun” to drive, but this odyssey rides better than others, mileage is good and we can get Littles in and out easily!

Jim was super helpful. He got me in and out with the perfect car. Gave me everything that I need and I was very pleased by this experience. Thank you Jim and the financial advisor too. I am going to cry!
