I work at a car dealership in VA. A customer traded in their 2011 Honda Pilot EX-L with a little over 185k miles on it. I bought it two weeks ago from our wholesale lot and it's been amazing. I can tell the previous owner kept really good care of it but also the comfortability of the vehicle and the reliability really caught my eye. I purchased my 2004 Honda Pilot brand new. I have 215,000+ miles on her now and the only thing I’ve ever had done is basic maintenance. The paint is starting to peel which makes me so angry with myself for not keeping the old girl in the garage all the time. Best car I’ve ever had. Won’t drive anything but a Honda for sure!

Purchased used with 145,000. Threw a bunch of front end work into it, but with Alaska roads no surprise. Very comfortable, with good interior. Sure footed on ice and deep snow with Blizzak tires. Alot of power, and 20 mpg with the V6 engine. Feels like a bigger SUV than it is. Great rig over the road, easy parking when in town. Going to run this up to 300k before I am done with it.

Full size room but feels like a mid size SUV. Able to transport two large dog crates. Gets good gas mileage. I would buy another one.

D'Angelo was very knowledgeable about the car and its features even though it was not a Kia brand vehicle. No pressure sales just kept me informed about the vehicle and pricing. Stefan in finance was also very professional. He explained the optional items, their cost and coverage and let me make my own decision yes or no and was not pushy on selling me additional items I had no interest in. Would definitely recommend this dealership and will not hesitate to buy from them again.

Great quiet comfortable road car. I commute between cities about 500 miles, and appreciate the performance, seat comfort, handling, quiet cabin, and decent mileage (about 32 at 70mph, about 29 at 80mph). Only hitch is the cabin controls being a reach from the drivers seat, and having to look over. Mine has a CD player which is great for books and music on the long drives.

My dad had a 2008 Honda Pilot EX-L with rear entertainment system. (RES/DVD PLAYER) It was the best in the we were on a road trip to Texas and 9 1/4 hours out of 10, we crashed but it was not our fault. Then a few days later it was totalled after we drove it back to Omaha. Best car in the world. Had it for 13 years.

Vehicle covers our needs for towing the family fishing boat. Great for winter driving in our region. This model year cargo space is better than many of the other SUV's available.

We bought this new in October of 2010, and have had it since, ever 100k have done the timing belt, never missed oil changes. Have some every recommended maintenance done, and she's now got 220k miles. Right about 200k mark the power steering pump started making noises, so changed it, was really easy to change. Then the alternator went out, which was harder to change, but did it. Can't complain 1 bit. My wife loves her pilot and says she's going to drive it until the doors fall off 😂. Been through few sets of brakes, few sets of tires, 3 rear sets of shocks, and few other wear and tear items. Interior has held up great, drivers seat has not torn (my wife is tiny) but you can see wear on it, but for 13-14 years of ownership, it can clean up really nice. Only thing is we got the pilot rust spot on the tailgate by the chrome trim, that was repaired once and has now came back.

I purchased a 96 Caprice from this dealer.....buying experience was top notch. They answered all of my many questions about the car, negotiated price with me and had the car delivered in record time. The vehicle arrived in an enclosed trailer, was clean and ran perfectly. There were no issues with the car that I found. Normal wear and tear for a 21 year old car but very clean and taken care of. Best I ever owned. Bought in April of 2010, 1st 2011 to hit the dealership. Touring model with real 4wheel drive, a rear window that opens w/defrost and side windows that defrost, a 6 CD changer with a video for the rear seat folks. Factory installed trailer pckg. with wiring, transmission oil cooler, heavy duty battery and a full size spare tire. They don't make them like that anymore. Only Honda has ever put a wrench to that vehicle and 3500 mile interval on oil changes. (I'm old school) In Arizona we go thru batteries like changing socks. On the 3rd set of Michelins after 132000 miles. I'd buy another today if I could get the same setup and options.

I love our 2016 Pilot EXL AWD. We bought it as a one year old CPO coming off a lease. It has had its share of the first year model blues. Not as reliable as I want it to be, but once the bugs were fixed, it’s been pretty smooth sailing. I love how it’s always ready for any adventure. The extra room is always welcome as we drive up and down the East cost between FL and NJ. We get to bring everything we needed and never worried about the weather. The AWD is great not just in the snow, but in any weather. Best AWD I’ve driven in the snow. The VTM4 AWD works so well, you’d think you’re driving a full time 4WD vehicle in the snow. It also helps in the rain as well. Accelerating with this much weight and a powerful engine requires a lot of traction. Coming out out of a corner in an incline, most front drive vehicles would spin their tires before the stability control stops the spin to regain control. The VTM4 senses the incline and automatically applies power to the rear wheels adding significant traction. Never spun the wheels of our pilot in the rain. Our FWD Passport, on the other hand, looses tracking during acceleration in the rain specially if it’s on an incline. One regret for buying that AWD SUV. We thought we won’t miss the AWD in the south. Now the 2016 Pilot certainly had so many bugs that would deter a lot of people from buying it used. We had the CPO warranty. And on top of that, we bought an extended warranty just because. Turned out to be a good idea. Most the the quirks happened during the warranty periods. From an expensive evap failure to transmission problems to sunroof issues to battery replacement. We had the famous transmission judder that required multiple visits until they finally had a permanent fix. Multiple fluid flushes and a software reprogramming took care of it. The sunroof didn’t want to close at times. Weird considering we don’t even use it often. Warranty covered everything. After the warranty expired, I learned that resetting the sunroof was an easy task. There were a few problems that I couldn’t remember or not technical enough to understand, but they were all fixed under warranty. Now driving it without warranty. So far it’s been good. Just keep up with the maintenance schedule and it should be fine. Replaced the OEM tires with Michelins CrossCimate2. It feels like it can go anywhere. Wet driving was further enhanced. The OEM tires had good traction, but wore out too quickly. Silly me bought a second set before going to Michelins. Overall, it’s a really nice SUV that’s fun to drive. It has plenty of power to haul 7 people easily or 3 people, one small dog, and everything needed for long distance traveling. It has an awesome AWD system that can get you anywhere. It helped us navigate around flooded areas on our way back home after Hurricane Irma. Where smaller vehicles couldn’t pass, we went through. The things we went through would have stranded a less capable SUV. Only thing missing really is CarPlay. We missed it my a year. Oh well.

we bought this new in 2005 for the wife's commuter and our family truckster. We have pulled boats, jet ski's, motorcycles, and quads over the years. We have made numerous trips to California from Oregon and loved every mile. sure the control lights burned out, but was as easy fix. other than that, it has been tires and regular maintenance for 15 years and 190,000 miles! My wife has moved onto an electric car, which she loves. But I keep driving the pilot to the airport and back each week for work. Just this last weekend we loaded the bikes and took it to the coast.
