I had been hunting a specific model for a long time, waiting out pandemic-era prices and high interest rates. Honda started posting some fantastic deals and I compared across dealerships, finding that Pohanka of Fredericksburg offered promotional 48 month financing while other topped out at 36 months. Even though we are an hour away, we made the trip. I reached out online and came in. We had the pleasure of working with Nicholas Cash. Great name, even better service. I did a lot of research on sales techniques and while Nicholas definitely asked “what kind of budget” I wanted, he was totally fine when I told him I was looking for overall value (and dodged his questions as I learned to do!). Nicholas was extremely knowledgeable about the trims and also models—presenting a few things that would be less expensive with similar size/features. He was also flexible to show us the different trims—it was low pressure and helped assure there would be no surprises or disappointments. Working with Nick was easy, negotiating the final deal with the manager took limited rounds of back and forth. Working with the finance manager, Sabrina, was very easy and again, no pressure with the final round of “would you like these add ons.” She was very clear and helped get us out quickly while thoroughly explaining everything. When it was time to “move” Nick provided complimentary canvas bags, offered his assistance, and had the new vehicle parked next to the trade in to make it easy to load back up. My only complaint is that it did take a long time from in to out—there are definitely process efficiencies that could be introduced. If I could do it again, I’d bring snacks. To be fair, Nicholas did offer to grab us something while we were waiting to sign the final paperwork (we had already agreed so there wasn’t really incentive to go out of his way, haha). Finally, I do want to highlight that I got a great deal on a newly released vehicle—as confirmed by internet strangers, who we know are more honest than we would like them to be! I strongly recommend Nicholas and would definitely make the trip out to Pohanka again.

I work at a car dealership in VA. A customer traded in their 2011 Honda Pilot EX-L with a little over 185k miles on it. I bought it two weeks ago from our wholesale lot and it's been amazing. I can tell the previous owner kept really good care of it but also the comfortability of the vehicle and the reliability really caught my eye. I have another vehicle I drive but this deal I couldn't pass up. Best vehicle I've ever owned even with 186k on it. It has everything I wanted and the space is great for me and my 2 year old black lab. Buy one if you can find a good deal - they are soooo worth it!!!!

I went looking for a specific car and they had one. I knew going into this search the car wouldn’t be perfect because of its age. They worked with me on so many levels to make the car exactly what I wanted and kept the price at or below the advertised price. I’d done my homework and showed up ready to buy. Yaser was terrific. He came outside to greet me on a very hot day. Once inside, he was friendly and knowledgeable. The Sales Manager (typically Mr. Hard Nose) couldn’t have been nicer as well. Everyone at the dealership was in a good mood, smiling - and it was a Monday! After searching online for several weeks, they had just the car I was looking for (a used, one year old certified Toyota) and their pricing was competitive and upfront. The whole process took only about one and a half hours to complete (very fast) and they washed the car and filled the tank with gas before handing over the keys. Overall, a great experience. I bought my 2014 Pilot Touring 4x4 used 4 years ago with 67k miles on her. We're at 150k now still going strong other than tires and routine maintenance no issues at all. She handles great on all terrain and in all weather, shes big enough to haul the family around town, move across the country in comfort or a weekend at the lake and you'd never know there was a trailer or a boat behind you. They did lose a star on the exterior for the paint peel on the roof above the windshield as others have mentioned.

The Pilot car is a reliable spacious family suv. Only annoyance is the lane assist appears to be too sensitive especially when driving windy 2 lane roads. Suggest change factory tires for snow driving as opposed to CR-V that held better on standard tires. Only minor complaints vehicle is a good pick.

No complaints overall on performance and durability. Only drawbacks is road noise. If you like to avoid road noise, this car is not for you. noise is too much than expected. i even went to Honda dealer to report noise, they replied me this is normal honda noise.

I dealt with Ali he gave me one of the best quote in the nation! He was so great and professional. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of getting my own financing first and then picking out the car I wanted. I wanted a 2022 Highlander but I couldnt get more money for it from my credit union unless I cancelled the loan I already had and re-applied for a higher loan. I couldnt stomach risking being left with no loan.

Great quiet comfortable road car. I commute between cities about 500 miles, and appreciate the performance, seat comfort, handling, quiet cabin, and decent mileage (about 32 at 70mph, about 29 at 80mph). Only hitch is the cabin controls being a reach from the drivers seat, and having to look over. Mine has a CD player which is great for books and music on the long drives.
