Best first new truck. So far so good. I couldn't be more impressed with my Ridgeline. But.... I wasn't a big fan of not getting my vehicle into neutral with a dead battery to back it out of the garage to give me a jump start because I left my tailgate cracked and the lights killed my battery overnight so I had to go buy a portable jump starter cuz I was stuck face first in the garage. But lesson learned I love my new truck I'm glad I got it.

My 5th Ridgeline. 2008-2025. Does everything I need from a truck as an owner of a small home. 24MPG highway and 19 around town. Never even had a check engine light come on with any of my five. MUCH roomier than Taco, Frontier, Ranger or Colorado. Wider and absolutely NO CONTEST for back seat room. The only true mid-size suitable for a growing family.

Purchased this 2023 Ridgeline after my 2020 was totaled out. The 2020 gets slightly better gas mileage, but they are very comfortable and quiet vehicles. I have many friends with larger trucks that have poor ride quality and lack the ease of use. The best thing is that Honda last forever. I still have and drive a 92 Civic. Two things I wish Honda and other manufacturers would do in the mid size truck market; one is make the back seats recline and make a reliable hybrid. Everything else is perfect. I was going to buy a newer Ridgeline since the display controls are better, but I loved the in bed speakers that are no longer on the newer models. It’s more truck than you’ll need for 90% of what you use it for.

I really love driving this truck. It rides and handles like a car but you have a truck when you need it. The only negative I have is it has a lot of wind noise which is annoying.

Bought this 2023 Ridgeline RTL used with only 4000 miles in Nov 2024, so it is essentially a new car. I was coming from a similar class, a 2018 Nissan Frontier. The new electronics suite is really nice. Turning radius is slightly less, so still getting used to that especially when backing into spaces. The tilt down/swing open tailgate is very handy, and the extra trunk under the deck is a Godsend for groceries, and the trunk also keeps the spare tire out of the elements until that rare time I have to get at it. All in all I like it a lot (price tag could have been lower), but no real complaints as yet. Only little things are that I am still reaching for a shifter (push button automatic), and reaching to turn off the key (which is now a fob in my pocket). Nice smooth ride which is really nice for some of the longer rides I take.

I bought my 2011 Ridgeline in October 2021. The handling is very good and secret compartment is very nice. I got it with only 54k which is phenomenal for a vehicle that is 11 years old. I traded my my lexus for it and glad I did. The RTL is the full package and it's great in snow.

I bought my 2025 Ridgeline black edition 4 days ago and am amazed at how good of a vehicle it is. It does everything I want a truck to do from hauling 2 recliners in the bed, getting bags of mulch, and cruising around town running errands. Plus the tow package is really handy if I want to pull a uhaul trailer in the future as I tend to rent them a couple times a year for different projects. I drove a 2005 tundra for 17 years, a 1998 Tacoma for 3 years, and a mazda B2300, and I liked them all but the ridgeline is far and away the nicest, smoothest driving, most comfortable and feature laden truck I have ever owned. The only negative I can think of is that I wish the bed was 6 feet long like the Tacoma long-beds. I liked the 6' bed on my Tundra but I knew the bed length when I bought the truck so I can't fault Honda for it. The trunk under the bed and 2-way tailgate MORE than make up for the missing 8" of bed length.

It fits all of my needs. It is comfortable to take on trips, can haul all my needs, either for things I need for my home ,on a weeklong fishing trip or a vacation down south. Overall, it is the perfect vehicle for me.

Bought a 2024 Honda Ridgeline Trailsport and it’s my last truck. I’ve owned full size trucks most of my life, decided to down size, spent time researching & test driving. It’s easy to drive, has all the bells & whistles that I wanted, and it’s easy to park!

This was my first new car purchase. The salesman JR, was more than helpful during this process. He explained everything and went through every step. He laid out my options very clearly. Very good experience!

Can’t beat this Ridgeline for comfort and amenities. 18k miles and it’s been a pleasure other than two small issues. The CarPlay continuously disconnects and according to the dealer, there is no fix. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It’s basically useless. Also, wireless charging does not work. It connects but never charges. Same response, no fix at the dealer. Such a great vehicle I would highly recommend but these two issues mar an otherwise nearly perfect truck.

The 2023 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E has performed up to my expectations! The ride is smooth, the engine performance is everything that I expected, the transmission shifts without notice, the interior is extremely nice and the truck bed is great!

In retirement, we wanted to get to being a one-car couple. The Ridgeline has been perfect. Rides like a car with great features and still allows you to haul large or bulky items in the bed and tow (we've done both). The dual swing tailgate is great and we use the trunk all the time. Just been a great all in one vehicle.

Have owned for a month. Wanted one for about three years, finally bought a new ‘24 RTL @discount. Extremely good ride, solid on the road, easy to drive, excellent visibility. Most comfortable vehicle seats we’ve ever sat in, great lumbar and general support. Tailgate and bed are super functional. It’s a Honda with proven reliability, we expect to run it for years of great drives.

I have always owned a full-size pickup truck but as I got older I wasn't carrying heavy loads or towing. Getting in and out of full size was harder. My Wife didn't like driving full size and she is small so in and out is harder. We decided to buy a mid-size and looked at all available Tacoma, Ranger, Frontier and Colorado. Lastly, we tried the Honda Ridgeline. My Wife loves it more than our Lexus RX350. I always thought the tailgate opening like a door was a gimmick but it is easier to load and unload. I thought four doors was only good for family but it provides better visibility. There is a lot of storage in the plastic composite bed with a large tub which can be used as a beverage cooler. More storage under the rear seat. The trucks are basically a Honda Pilot with a bed so it rides like a car and comfortable. It has a naturally aspirated V6 engine not a turbo V4 like Tacoma. Only negatives for me were the auto stop start and VCM or variable cylinder management which I disabled. It has all the safety features I wanted lane assist, cameras etc. It is the Black Edition so I have almost as many bells and whistles as my Lexus so heat and ac seats etc. My Wife and I are very happy with our purchase.

Started off by turning in my 2016 Accord Sport. After going over all options ended up leasing another 2020 Accord Sport. Had such great service provided from sales to finance ended up coming back two days later and leasing a Civic Sport for my daughter. My wife already has a Pilot Ex-L. This will make our twelfth Honda purchase since moving in the area, all from Joyce Honda. Always top notch service provided. This time for sales we used Joe San Roman. Joe always provides 5 star service and is always goes above and beyond to make a deal happen. We have used Joe in the past, And is always a pleasure to work with (Great job Joe). I purchased a Black Edition in January of 2024. My consideration was for the Ridgeline or the Hyundai Santa Cruz. Both vehicles had decision making options for me that were in one vehicle but not the other. They may be minor to some people but were important to me. Neither of the vehicles had all of the options/features that I was looking for. Items that I was impressed with on the Santa Cruz that were not available of the Ridgeline were, larger touch screen, surround and turn signal cameras, more customizable tachometer/speedometer screen area, roll up bed cover, somewhat better gas mileage on the turbo engine, shifter to rest my hand on, 5 yr. 100K drive train warranty, timing chain not a belt. Items on the Ridgeline that were not available on the Santa Cruz were power passenger seat, better back seat legroom, larger under-bed storage with spare tire located in the area, larger/flatter bed area, more comfortable/larger interior, more center console space, rear HVAC passenger controls. Neither vehicle has a hybrid powertrain that I'd hoped for. Both vehicle manufacturers have good reliability histories, but the Ridgeline was a better overall fit for my needs. I've had Honda vehicles before and that helped to finalize my decision.
