I purchased my new 2014 Pure White Camry from Fred Anderson Toyota in Dec. 2013. I could not have been happier at that time with the service provided from the sales experience to my experience with the service department. That all changed when my vehicle was part of the defective paint issue they acknowledged in 2020. Trying to get it remedied became an extremely frustrating process over an almost 3 yr. period. I was ready to give up and sell the car at a loss but decided to try one more time. I called Fred Andersons Service dept. to discuss with the service manager, Bill DePriest. That was my lucky day! I was prepared for another exhausting process but Bill without question or hesitation immediately got the ball rolling to get my car repaired. He immediately got Jackson Trhlin involved in the scheduling and within 6 weeks my car was repaired and looks new...Every follow-up exchange I had with him was responsive, pleasant and respectful. Thanks to Bill I was finally heard and acknowledged. I felt the care and concern he had for my earlier exhausting experience. He made it his mission to get me taken care of as soon as possible...The level of service and responsiveness I received from him was amazing. Shoutout to Jackson too for getting me on the schedule quickly as well... My interaction with Bill and the expedient repair of my paint issue that he facilitated renewed my faith in Toyota and in particular Fred Anderson of Charleston. He represented himself and Fred Anderson Toyota well by taking their commitment to their customers to a new high. I cannot recommend them more and it's all because of Bill !!! Most comfortable pickup I have owned(extensive spine injury).hate the auto stop feature…the electronics are the worst.very difficult to sync a phone. Great mileage. I Plan on keeping this truck a very long time.also required maint.is a disappointment..never had to change diff and trans fluid in any of my previous trucks

Best first new truck. So far so good. I couldn't be more impressed with my Ridgeline. But.... I wasn't a big fan of not getting my vehicle into neutral with a dead battery to back it out of the garage to give me a jump start because I left my tailgate cracked and the lights killed my battery overnight so I had to go buy a portable jump starter cuz I was stuck face first in the garage. But lesson learned I love my new truck I'm glad I got it.

The Ridgeline is a super practical vehicle. I have the E so I love the storage in the bed area as well as as full electric. at 80,000 miles, I started having an issue with the stereo system with a crack rolling and popping first it would go away while driving. I’d have to stop the vehicle turn it off and then restart it and the radio would start playing.

Looked internet and got a return call from sales person but I had already purchased vehicle from carmax at a lower price

This is my 3rd Ridgeline, a white/black edition. I am a commited Ridgline fan-boy. While not as robust as some larger "work" trucks, this is the perfect gentlemans truck Two biggest benefits are: reliability and superior gas mileage above all others in it's class

Purchased this 2023 Ridgeline after my 2020 was totaled out. The 2020 gets slightly better gas mileage, but they are very comfortable and quiet vehicles. I have many friends with larger trucks that have poor ride quality and lack the ease of use. The best thing is that Honda last forever. I still have and drive a 92 Civic. Two things I wish Honda and other manufacturers would do in the mid size truck market; one is make the back seats recline and make a reliable hybrid. Everything else is perfect. I was going to buy a newer Ridgeline since the display controls are better, but I loved the in bed speakers that are no longer on the newer models. It’s more truck than you’ll need for 90% of what you use it for.

My situation must have been the most difficult situation ever at a Carmax, even though it was tough and the Managers and Myself got frustrated at times Ed, Dave, Eric, and Chris (Carmax Charleston Managers) never gave up on me and worked hard to make this thing happen. I came to them looking for my dream car, the Mitsubishi Lancer RalliArt or Evolution on a limited budget. They found the vehicle and brought it in, I bought the vehicle and there were a few problems with it, the guys took the car back no questions asked and found another one, even though there were some other issues that occured the Management staff at Carmax stuck by me and helped me make it happen. Anyone new to the car buying process should go see the team at Carmax, Charleston, as they will guide you through the process and explain it to you the whole way through! Bought this 2023 Ridgeline RTL used with only 4000 miles in Nov 2024, so it is essentially a new car. I was coming from a similar class, a 2018 Nissan Frontier. The new electronics suite is really nice. Turning radius is slightly less, so still getting used to that especially when backing into spaces. The tilt down/swing open tailgate is very handy, and the extra trunk under the deck is a Godsend for groceries, and the trunk also keeps the spare tire out of the elements until that rare time I have to get at it. All in all I like it a lot (price tag could have been lower), but no real complaints as yet. Only little things are that I am still reaching for a shifter (push button automatic), and reaching to turn off the key (which is now a fob in my pocket). Nice smooth ride which is really nice for some of the longer rides I take.

I bought my Ridgeline new in February 2021 and it still feels new to me. Plenty of power, comfort, and convenience to keep me satisfied and not interested in replacing it. I’ve owned several interesting new cars, like a’69 Z28, ‘74 MGB, and 2019 Insight but the Ridgeline is the first to truly keep my interest.

The 2023 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E has performed up to my expectations! The ride is smooth, the engine performance is everything that I expected, the transmission shifts without notice, the interior is extremely nice and the truck bed is great!

Love everything about this truck except the radio and android auto I have the RTL HPD version with the radio that requires smart phone interface for maps etc. It is very complicated interface and dissapointing. RTL E has built in navigation and superior radio. I like everything else.

Pros: This the best pickup for an average pickup truck owner. I have no plans on towing anything and the truck drives very good. The Ridgeline interior is quiet and spacious, is an excellent highway cruiser, has very good sight lines, excellent seat comfort, nice storage spaces in the cab and truck bed, and is well made with a solid structure. The interior materials are made up of quality pieces. Fits my garage. The Honda engineering is so good that I can overlook or accept the minuses. Cons: The Ridgeline is missing some features and the tech needs updating. I am happy with my truck. My Honda dealership made my purchase transaction very simple.

I really love driving this truck. It rides and handles like a car but you have a truck when you need it. The only negative I have is it has a lot of wind noise which is annoying.

Great experience! Purchased my second vehicle yesterday from this establishment. Caleb had the vehicle waiting on me when I arrived and showed me every bell and whistle it had. Purchased a used 2020, after reading all the reviews for all the years, and found one that had the right combo of price and mileage. I am very pleased with the ride; it's basically a Honda Pilot with a bed! I traded a Colorado (which i was very pleased with) but the Ridgeline is a different breed of cat than a small pickup truck. Now i understand why the Car&Driver etc reviewers always rate the Ridgeline ahead of all the other midsize pickups. It's kind of in a category of its own.

Can’t beat this Ridgeline for comfort and amenities. 18k miles and it’s been a pleasure other than two small issues. The CarPlay continuously disconnects and according to the dealer, there is no fix. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. It’s basically useless. Also, wireless charging does not work. It connects but never charges. Same response, no fix at the dealer. Such a great vehicle I would highly recommend but these two issues mar an otherwise nearly perfect truck.

In retirement, we wanted to get to being a one-car couple. The Ridgeline has been perfect. Rides like a car with great features and still allows you to haul large or bulky items in the bed and tow (we've done both). The dual swing tailgate is great and we use the trunk all the time. Just been a great all in one vehicle.

I was originally searching for an SUV. Trading in my high mileage Toyota Camry with way too much road noise, I was looking for the same reliability and an engine with the same "get up and go". I was attracted to the low percentage financing on both Toyota and Honda trucks, I am retired and now I can leave my funds in my IRA and pay a low interest rate and continue to gain in my investments, and not pay the income tax on a one time withdrawal. I love the quiet ride of the Ridgeline. The Honda is easier for me to get into. It is more like getting into an SUV than the Toyota Tacoma. The V6 engine gives me the ability to get around slow moving vehicles safely on two lane roads. I love the ride of my Ridgeline which is more like an SUV because it is on a car chassis not a truck chassis, but I can haul larger items than an SUV. I was also attracted to the Ridgeline because it is already set up to pull my small trailer for my ATV. I love the swing out tailgate for reaching into the back. The roomy trunk in the bottom of the truck bed is amazing, and holds so many misc items and groceries. My Honda Ridgeline will be so much help when I need to take my daughters wheel chair on trips. I have not tested out the All Wheel Drive, but I am looking forward to it's assistance in the Sand Dunes. I have put almost 2000 miles since my purchase a month ago. I Love my Honda Ridgeline

We just purchased a new 2022 Honda Accord Sport. I have owned my previous Accord for 15 years and thought it was about time to buy a new one. Michelle Dial helped us through the process. I started my truck search looking at full-size trucks, but honestly didn’t want the exterior size to be that big. Just on a side, have you noticed how a lot of the worst drivers on the road are driving the big full-size trucks? I didn’t know the purpose of having a Hemi to actually run people off the road. You know what I mean? That dude is barreling down the interstate doing about 87mph pulling a big @$$ box trailer and he’s like fish tailing all over the place? Anywho, back to the review... I drove a Jeep Gladiator, a Tacoma, a Colorado and the Nissan Frontier. The Gladiator was almost scary on the highway. Lots of wind noise and blowing me all over the place even at the lower highway speeds around 55-60mpg. For that reason, it didn’t make sense to me as a daily driver on paved roads. While the new Colorado and Tacoma have that brawny stance, neither of them have a V6. What’s the deal with the 4 banger turbo thing? It’s like Arnold Schwarzenegger in that old Christmas movie, “Jingle All The Way.” “I have to get the “Turbo Man!!” What they are not telling you about the 4 cylinder turbo stuff is that even if a 4 cylinder engine has the power of Ivan Drago in Rocky 4, it is working harder to produce that power compared to the naturally aspirated V6. Multiple mechanics I know personally have said the same thing. Inside, both Tac and Colorado were small and cramped. At first glance, you think they are going to be bigger inside than they are. This was disappointing and strange given how the outside is larger than the prior generations of those two trucks. An odd tech. thing about the Colorado was that you actually turn the headlights on using the touch screen. I also thought that the inside materials in the Colorado felt cheap. That glossy plastic stuff if you know what I mean. I liked the tow rating, but decided to keep shopping. The Frontier was actually my second favorite truck behind the Ridgeline. The naturally aspirated V6 instead of the turbo was already setting it above the other trucks. Then, I drove the Ridgeline and it was like Wow!! This thing rocks!! Honda’s proven reliable V6, smooth driving, yet flexible enough on the dirt or gravel roads, I can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood flat in the bed because there’s no stupid wheel well hump. I absolutely love the tailgate swing out! It gets my body closer to whatever goods I am lifting out of the back instead of having to lean forward. Honda nailed it with this feature! Plus, let me just say that Ridgeline’s interior almost feels like a full size truck. I have tall teenage boys and the first thing they said when they got in the Ridgeline was “Wow dad!! This is nice and big inside!” Plus, as roomy as it is, I like that Ridgeline fits in a standard garage space too! If you get heavy rains, or it happens to snow, it’s nice to be covered when you want to be. You’ve got drive settings for different terrain and that suits my needs. Another reviewer said the Ridgeline meets the needs of 80% of people driving trucks and he nailed it with that statement. it’s absolutely true. A lot of people are driving big trucks and Jeeps and they never actually use them for the purpose they are intended for. You have those folks that don’t actually need 4 wheel drive. If you’re like me, you want a truck that gives you the utility you need, want to grab some landcape supplies, sheet goods, farm or garden stuff, and rides awesome on both paved and gravel or dirt roads, this is the truck for you. Don’t you love these guys with Jeep fantasies that make stupid videos criticizing Honda trying to create skepticism like…. “Can it do any serious off roading?” You can’t criticize it for something it’s not designed for. If you want a rock crawler you get a Jeep or something similar (locking differential, higher ground clearance, a lift, bigger rubber etc,).
