Used Honda cars for sale near Glenn Heights, TX under $8,000

Bought my 2012 brand new and 12 years later it still runs great! I have put o er 304,000 miles on it and have had no problems. I have done regular maintenance on the car and it keeps on ticking. The paint is poor condition and weather stripping has deteriorated. The interior has held well! The only thing after 12 years and lots of miles is the CD player is making noises and wearing out. I am going to keep driving until it dies which at this point seems like it might be another 100-200k miles.

We had a great experience at Cransh! Found the first car for our new teenage driver. Love their policy of preventative maintenance and getting those cars that already have some miles on them ready for more! The best part, a small problem popped up with the car after we took it home, and like a boss, they were on it and made it right! Love the heated front seats. Do not like access to rear seats past seats at doors. Has great pick up. Drives thru anything. Quiet. Great sound system. Cools and Heats entire van. Large windshield must have sunscreen or summers heat blisters interior.. A/C works great

No haggling over the price is good and bad - good because you know the price - bad because they are a little high on prices, but the cars have all been serviced as opposed to most used car lots which just clean them and sell them.

I work at a car dealership in VA. A customer traded in their 2011 Honda Pilot EX-L with a little over 185k miles on it. I bought it two weeks ago from our wholesale lot and it's been amazing. I can tell the previous owner kept really good care of it but also the comfortability of the vehicle and the reliability really caught my eye. I have another vehicle I drive but this deal I couldn't pass up. Best vehicle I've ever owned even with 186k on it. It has everything I wanted and the space is great for me and my 2 year old black lab. Buy one if you can find a good deal - they are soooo worth it!!!!

I bought mine new in 2000 for 17,000 and put 244,000 on it. The usual timing chain, tires exhaust, the brake lines do rust out around 225,000 and the front cross member is prone to rust also but otherwise very fun to drive. Feels like a go cart and super smooth on highway . Trani start slipping at around 150,000 but changed fluid and it was like new. Hard to sell it but i probably will as too many cars

This car replaced my 1993 Civic when the corrosion of the midwest did in the suspension, which was not worth repairing on on a car with 279,000 miles. Now my current Civic was approaching this benchmark fast befor Covid. It had some big shows to fill and easily did so. No problems, and it has been beat to crap. This is city driving, so the engine hours are through the roof. Average maybe 20mph thoughtour it’s life. Did need it’s starter replaced once, although this was less expensive than the old timing belt tuneup on the 93. There was an issue with thinning paint on trunk and the car has been hit with enough rocks and when parked that she is far from pristine. I vouch for the safety as this is the insurance replacement of one that got totaled with 60 miles on it back in 09, a roll over. Run off road by semi whose brakes failed. I find the car quite comfortable for commuting purposes and the AC still works. It’s a DX-VP, so she’s awfully spartan by modern standards. Now that I work from home, the miles are coming slower. I assume a better conditioned one with low miles would hold its resale value pretty well. I’d like to justify getting a new car to scoot around town but it’s impossible to justify.

The salesman, Jason, was courteous, knowledgeable and low pressure. We literally bought the car (2014 Mazda 3 I Sport) in only a little over an hour, including the test drive. No high pressure tactics nor “upselling”. I highly recommend Cransh as well as Jason B.

Over all good car but 4 cyl engine lacks power. A 6 cyl should have been an option. Door locks (actuator) not reliable. Transmission ,breaks , and suspension are great.

Like most, buying a new car (or truck in my case) has always been something that made me cringe. Places like Carvana and Carmax have tried to take a lot of pain and stress out of the car buying process and to be honest, they have, however at a price. I think everybody knows you pay for convenience but should you have to pay so much for it. Why do dealers mark up cars and add unwanted and unwanted items to inflate these hidden costs? Well obviously to make more money off the consumer, but why take advantage of people? it's no wonder why "car salespeople" come across as shrewd, dishonest, and untrustworthy. Not so with Maverick Motors. Truly, the best experience with the best value. I will always go back to Maverick Motors when looking for a new vehicle and you should too. 5 Star experience is not high enough for Sam, Justin, Abe, Matt and the entire team at Maverick Motors. I agree with most of the ratings except I don't know how it gets a 4.4 for comfort. The driver's seat is terrible. No matter how I tried to adjust it I end up with a sore back.

Our vehicle now has 150,000 miles. Its performing great. Pretty good gas mileage and has had minimal service other than routine. It does have a rattle when first starting car. We had that fixed ($800) but now it's back. Dang. The one exterior design problem we face is the latch for the rear hatch. The location is poor. EVERYONE tries to open the hatch just under the window where there is a cut out and has pulled off trim and messed with the back up camera. I've noticed that has been fixed on newer models. It does not seem to do really well in the snow due to the weight distribution. Even with new tires. But its been super dependable and has been our people and dog moving car for 10 years and has really held up well.

EX coupe, I4 engine, 5 speed manual transmission Bought this car used, traded in a Subaru Forester for it. Had about 125k ish on the odometer when purchased, coming up on 143k now with absolutely zero issues. Had to get the tire sensors replaced and a remote made for it, but I haven't had any mechanical issues whatsoever. Hondas are reliable to a fault, even more so with regular maintenance. I only run Chevron or Shell fuel, and Mobil 1 super synthetic oil to keep things clean. The computer lets me go up to 7k miles between changes! Good thing for me because this is my daily all around the state driver. Sound system is incredible stock, with an 8 inch shallow throw sub in the rear deck. As usual, Honda is known for great power trains, but a fairly cheap interior. No big unless you're looking for a luxury vehicle! Road noise is pretty average for a Honda, can be loud if you're used to Toyota or Chevy. Suspension is a little stiff and clumsy, but again, reliable. Don't expect to take this car off-road unless you want it to complain the entire way 😂 All in all, this is probably the best car I have owned to date. Sporty, stylish, and almost bulletproof. Going to give her a good tune up soon and I plan to have her for years to come!

This is the first Honda I have owned and I absolutely love my car. I've always like to looks of the 6th gens and got mine for a smoken price from my co-worker. This car is super easy to work on. Especially with all of the videos that are out there. I've done all kinds of upgrades to it and parts are pretty reasonable. I just did a motor swap on it. It only had 369,000 +/- miles and it still has the original automatic transmission. Infact, most of if not all the parts I have replace where original. What an amazing car.

Amazing car, but the door windows are so large, even the slightest bit of being rolled down blows rear passengers away! Not to mention the back glass causes the rear passengers a bit of a sun burn as well! Also, the clear coat on the car literally disintegrated within a few years, even with proper care. Other than that, the Vtec is a nice feature, power everything is also nice.

Bought one with 200k on it..drives smooth solid trNs , suspension and acceleration ..nice 1.5 liter engine no oil leaks ..just needed tune up ..spark plugs and o,e cylinder coil ...glad to have it for my gas buster budget. 40 mpg on highway ..seems like it'll go another 100k. Good in snow fwd helps alot
