Used 2023 Hyundai KONA for sale near Garwood, NJ

Purchased the car a month ago and it does not disappoint. Has got a kick to it. Brakes are a little choppy but reliable. Inside is comfortable. Enough room and yet compact.

This is my second time this year dealing with this Hyundai but this review wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for Briant Rosa. Both times he’s been amazing. He’s patient, helpful and TRULY goes out of his way to help. He took care of the entire process both times. And this second time I got my car without even stepping into the dealership!!! How amazing is that! I don’t know about any of you but my time is precious and I HATE wasting my time at the dealership (btw why is this even necessary?!!!🤔) I’m usually VERY skeptical about EVERYTHING!! but having dealt with Briant in the past, I knew I could trust him to handle everything from start to finish and he delivered (literally!!)~he Delivered the car right to my driveway!! I’d definitely recommend Briant Rosa as a salesperson. He’s dedicated, friendly, understanding, knowledgeable, polite, patient, very helpful and straightforward.

The Kona is a nice car, has plenty of power for the 2.0L engine, as long its in sport mode. Gas economy is ok at around 28mpg. Sun roof is great. All the auto features are nice, but I wish that the "Turn the motor Off" at a stop was off by default. I don't like the jerk feel it does when it turns itself back on after you release the brake, I tend to manually turn that feature off, if I remember to press the manual override button. Plenty of room for normal size people. if your pushing 6 foot I wouldn't recommend this vehicle, as it would be hard to duck to get in and out of the front seats. I do like the warranty BUT Hyundai hides a few things from you, like the computers are NOT covered by their 5 year, 60k or 10 year 100k warranty only 3 year 36k. I would suggest an extended warranty to cover the 35 computers alone in this vehicle. Also These new cars are all drive by wire. meaning NO cables anymore to throttle, brakes, etc.It is all done by a computer and sensors, keep that in mind. GPS computer is pretty good, map works good. I still like that Hyundai still offers a USB for flash drives with MP3 music, Not everyone wants to use your stupid phone to play music.

My experience here was painless really, My product specialist Alex was amazing, it's like doing business with an old friend, He was honest, straight to the point, professional yet fun attitude sealed the deal for me! And your sales manager Tina was quite helpful as well too! Would definitely recommend this dealership and Alex as your go to product specialist...

I bought the 2023 SEL Kona for my wife. However, she has been traveling for work and I've driven it 4000 miles. I really enjoy the fun little car. Mileage overall 32-40 MPG. Handles/ looks great. Great experience

Cannot say enough about Howie and Motion Kia to buy a Telluride. Howie was patient, no pressure, and did not treat me like just another person. He took his time, made sure to get me the best deal and was a million times better than when I purchased a Telluride for my wife. Would recommend to all.

It feels solid on the road, handles well on turns, and when you close the doors they sound solid - no tin can sound or feel.

I was driving by this dealership and was happy to find it here on Cars.com too and now have a hub to their inventory on my favorite Car site! I am an online car shopping junkie of a sort and when I do decide to move on my next Used vehicle I will check Dover Used Car Center first because when I walked in I was treated as a person and not a target! Danielle was super nice. Very knowledgeable and understanding my Finacial situation. On the other hand. The manager was rude and very pushy for me to sign yesterday which ALMOST made me turn away from the deal. Finance was yelling through his office while we trying to finalize the deal. Rude on manager and finance guy.

She made my client experience with City World Hyundai a 10/10, she was professional, helpful, patient, and highly knowledgeable on the vehicles and its features, I recommend her for ALL sales, she definitely made me feel comfortable with the decision I made.

I always had a good experience with the service dept but today I was being taken advantage of. My 2018 Jeep Compass has only 30,000 miles and I was told by the advisor that it needs overall service and price would be $800 . I showed him the schedule that I was emailed and it was like $250 so I told him to just give me my free maintenance service that I usually get. I even showed him the pdf email. Also I brought my car in at 7:30 am on the line and he said that it should be ready by 9:30 and will call me. He never called so I just called service at 1 and it is ready. Next time I come for service and an advisor takes advantage I will ask for the Manager. I have friends that are retired from sales and service dept and I asked them and they said the advisor definitely was taking advantage of me; that there is no way 30,000 miles needs all that.

Right to the point and fast service, Came in for a simple oil change and they took me right away....Thanks.

Thanks to Bill Walsh who managed to get the car detailed the night before and get me in and out before noon on a Saturday. I love it!
