Used Hyundai KONA SEL for sale near Cedarhurst, NY

Had my car serviced at Westbury Toyota earlier this week and it was fabulous. Mike is an awesome guy, he had me in & out in about an hour.

I love my Kona, easy to get in and out of, runs great, great on gas. The only problem is the spoiler is plastic and the paint has faded. I think it is a flaw in the paint job. The paint is out of warranty but Hyundai is going to take a look at it and see if they can help in any way.

I just got a 2022 Kona Limited after having a 2015 Golf for years. I like all safety features and comfort items. The steering wheel is stiffer than I am used to and think that is due to lane assist. I haven't figured out why the nav system doesn't talk, but it must be a setting issue. I used a Garmin unit for nav in past, but Kona's screen is much better. Some people say the space is small, but just fine for me. Overall, i like the Kona

Great experience! In my opinion, the best dealership on Staten Island hands down! The showroom is well laid out and had a very positive vibe to it, unlike many others I've visited. Also, after walking in and getting my temperature checked, there was no one rushing up to me - absolutely no pressure. I was left alone to look around the vehicles and it was me that initiated the first contact with Igli. In my 25 years of experience dealing with salespeople in NY and NJ, there is no doubt that Igli ranks right at the top of the list for being the best! Igli helped find the car and set no preconditions about how far or how long the test drive could be. Upon our return, Igli sat down with us to discuss a possible lease. Again he listened to what was being said, without interrupting or steering the conversation in another direction. We couldn't agree on a deal at that time, so he gave me his cell number in case my situation changed. When I called him 2 days later it was his day off, yet he took the time to continue our negotiations and handed me over to his manager Larry. Larry called me to confirm the conversation and the process of leasing the vehicle began. Larry was great to deal with too, and by the end of the day, everything was approved. My wife and I picked up the vehicle last night. Igli had prepared all the paperwork, all I needed to do was read and sign. I'd say that took less than 30 minutes. There was no after-sales selling, nothing except handing me and my wife the keys and showing us the rudimentary functionality of the car before we left. This is by far the BEST experience I have ever on Staten island in more than 25 years of leasing. This is exactly how car shopping should be, easy and enjoyable and Island Hyundai came through in every way. I would recommend Island Hyundai to everyone that is looking for a great experience at a dealership, where I felt that being a customer was very important to every member of their staff, and everyone we met treated us as such.

Just bought a 2022 Kona SEL AWD in thunder gray, so far I love it. I traded in a BMW twin turbo with around 330 hp, and I thought this 150 hp 4 cylinder would be weak but it does its job and is peppy, quick, and merges into highway with ease. Not gonna win drag races but then again cops own the road not people with fast cars, all those performance cars will do is break my wallet. BMW. It’s more solid and fun to drive then my past cars and is backed up with a great warranty, I hope to drive this car for years and years. The all wheel drive system is better than the BMW and its apple car play is great and my model has wireless charging. I could do another road trip of 1000 miles with this and get almost 14 mpg better than my BMW. All in all if you’re not into the illusion of driving a “German” car and want something gutsy and simple I would recommend the Kona over all the bmws and Hondas I owned in the past. 5 stars out of 5.

Purchased the car a month ago and it does not disappoint. Has got a kick to it. Brakes are a little choppy but reliable. Inside is comfortable. Enough room and yet compact.

Good gas mileage. Turbo model is peppy & surprisingly responsive. All wheel drive great in upstate NY winters. Very comfortable interior, enjoyable to drive, especially long trips.

Our Kona SEL is stunning to look at. The included technology in the car and the app make it so enjoyable. It is so quiet when driving. We only have 572 miles on it and MTN VIEW HYUNDAI will check on it at 1000 miles. Great warranty too. This replaces a 2006 PT Cruiser. We are very happy with this car and dealership!

I just want to say thanks to Isiah Washington the manager of South Shore Hyundai for being a great and very helpful person, he always goes above and beyond to keep the clients coming back. Customer Service is excellent and I am very thankful to have someone like him managing, because he cares about the customers. He never let you leave dissatisfied. The Kona is a nice car, has plenty of power for the 2.0L engine, as long its in sport mode. Gas economy is ok at around 28mpg. Sun roof is great. All the auto features are nice, but I wish that the "Turn the motor Off" at a stop was off by default. I don't like the jerk feel it does when it turns itself back on after you release the brake, I tend to manually turn that feature off, if I remember to press the manual override button. Plenty of room for normal size people. if your pushing 6 foot I wouldn't recommend this vehicle, as it would be hard to duck to get in and out of the front seats. I do like the warranty BUT Hyundai hides a few things from you, like the computers are NOT covered by their 5 year, 60k or 10 year 100k warranty only 3 year 36k. I would suggest an extended warranty to cover the 35 computers alone in this vehicle. Also These new cars are all drive by wire. meaning NO cables anymore to throttle, brakes, etc.It is all done by a computer and sensors, keep that in mind. GPS computer is pretty good, map works good. I still like that Hyundai still offers a USB for flash drives with MP3 music, Not everyone wants to use your stupid phone to play music.

I bought the 2023 SEL Kona for my wife. However, she has been traveling for work and I've driven it 4000 miles. I really enjoy the fun little car. Mileage overall 32-40 MPG. Handles/ looks great. Great experience

Bought this car January 2024, I got the base model SE with AWD. The only thing I have to say is when the vehicle is in cruise control it has a habit of over revving the engine going uphill. My last vehicle pretty much had the same options (engine specs, bluetooth, AWD) this one had but my last car was 10 years old and falling apart with over 130k miles. Otherwise the Kona is great. I bought it initially because I needed and update rather than an upgrade if that makes sense to anyone. Overall 4.5/5 in my opinion.

Bought my Kona 6.24.22 and I already have 24000+ miles on it. Mine is Blue Wave/Black in color. It's been great. You definitely get what you pay for. It's small. But I'm small. It's sporty and stylish. I've been told that my vehicle matches my personality. I'm adventurous so we match great. I wish the mpg was better (my avg mpg is 26.2). No issues yet.

I purchased my Kona a couple of weeks ago and I am very impressed, this car is loaded with many features that I never had in a car. I like the cyber silver color. I feel comfortable driving my Kona and enjoy being behind the wheel each time.

I have been using my Kona 2020 for five years (almost), I am delighted except few minor problems I had. The rubber around the front left ( Automotive weather stripping) side which is on the body of the car is torn and the wipers were broken in few months. Overall I am happy with car. The driving on ice, snow etc during winter is so easy and stable.
