10 STARS I’ve been coming to this location for few years and overall, I have to say that they are very attentive. When they list and explain the problem with my van, they are always clear. Marco from Service Department always goes above and beyond…the best experience. From pulling into the garage to getting my rodder fix, to rental car, he made it a stress-free transaction. Which I believe, is how it should be. Marco is always friendly, professional and efficient. I cannot forget Carlos who helped walked me through rental car yesterday. He was very knowledgeable and patience to my questions. Then the other Marco from Service Porter did a fantastic job washing and cleaning my van. I mean, my van looked brand new…he was very thorough. I have never experienced this kind of service. My one-hour commute to this location is totally worth it. Great hire manager. Even though this facility is a first come first serve basis they can get very busy here sometimes, but when I come in when they first open or even at 9am I am usually out the door within 1-2 hours. The staff/check-out will do what they can to help speed the process. It really depends what type of work you need to be done.

I just got a 2022 Kona Limited after having a 2015 Golf for years. I like all safety features and comfort items. The steering wheel is stiffer than I am used to and think that is due to lane assist. I haven't figured out why the nav system doesn't talk, but it must be a setting issue. I used a Garmin unit for nav in past, but Kona's screen is much better. Some people say the space is small, but just fine for me. Overall, i like the Kona

Purchased the car a month ago and it does not disappoint. Has got a kick to it. Brakes are a little choppy but reliable. Inside is comfortable. Enough room and yet compact.

I received exceptionally professional service during my recent visit. The timing was impeccable, and the staff member, Jorge, who assisted me with my vehicle's oil change, treated both me and my car with great care. I commend the team for their outstanding work.

The Kona is a nice car, has plenty of power for the 2.0L engine, as long its in sport mode. Gas economy is ok at around 28mpg. Sun roof is great. All the auto features are nice, but I wish that the "Turn the motor Off" at a stop was off by default. I don't like the jerk feel it does when it turns itself back on after you release the brake, I tend to manually turn that feature off, if I remember to press the manual override button. Plenty of room for normal size people. if your pushing 6 foot I wouldn't recommend this vehicle, as it would be hard to duck to get in and out of the front seats. I do like the warranty BUT Hyundai hides a few things from you, like the computers are NOT covered by their 5 year, 60k or 10 year 100k warranty only 3 year 36k. I would suggest an extended warranty to cover the 35 computers alone in this vehicle. Also These new cars are all drive by wire. meaning NO cables anymore to throttle, brakes, etc.It is all done by a computer and sensors, keep that in mind. GPS computer is pretty good, map works good. I still like that Hyundai still offers a USB for flash drives with MP3 music, Not everyone wants to use your stupid phone to play music.

The sales person listened to what we were telling him, and did not try to push options / addon that we were not interested in. This was probably the most streamlined car buying experience that we have had.

Good gas mileage. Turbo model is peppy & surprisingly responsive. All wheel drive great in upstate NY winters. Very comfortable interior, enjoyable to drive, especially long trips.

It appears that KUNES Sycamore has recently hired a very competent Jerome Witt who, albeit after 6 months resolved my issue within a couple of days. If you have an issue with KUNES, I highly recommend contacting Jerome. I purchased a 2009 Mercedes SL550 (48,00miles) from this stealership and added a "Bumper to Bumper aftermarket warranty" which I paid for separately from the car through Kunes. After 3 weeks (1,500mls) the car developed an issue with a suspension damper. Kunes quoted a $1,500+ repair charge and of course it was not covered by the "Bumper to Bumper warranty". Multiple emails to Eddie Boliaux (GM) has proven to be futile. Please think twice before dealing with these people, especially if they try to sell you a useless aftermarket warranty. I love mine. I bought it on color Only. Not disappointed other then it could have more pep in its step. It is fun to drive and gets stares from people as it is green/yellow and really pops Green/yellow is best. Gree

I bought the 2023 SEL Kona for my wife. However, she has been traveling for work and I've driven it 4000 miles. I really enjoy the fun little car. Mileage overall 32-40 MPG. Handles/ looks great. Great experience

Gave us even a better deal than expected. Highly recommend them. No high pressure and family friendly. Kids really liked the life size Marvel statues.

Just bought a 2022 Kona SEL AWD in thunder gray, so far I love it. I traded in a BMW twin turbo with around 330 hp, and I thought this 150 hp 4 cylinder would be weak but it does its job and is peppy, quick, and merges into highway with ease. Not gonna win drag races but then again cops own the road not people with fast cars, all those performance cars will do is break my wallet. BMW. It’s more solid and fun to drive then my past cars and is backed up with a great warranty, I hope to drive this car for years and years. The all wheel drive system is better than the BMW and its apple car play is great and my model has wireless charging. I could do another road trip of 1000 miles with this and get almost 14 mpg better than my BMW. All in all if you’re not into the illusion of driving a “German” car and want something gutsy and simple I would recommend the Kona over all the bmws and Hondas I owned in the past. 5 stars out of 5.

I was there today because, as it turns out, the service team damaged a tire pressure sensor a few weeks ago when replacing one of my tires. So the fact that I was there at all was very annoying. But I was treated courteously, given a reasonable expectation of how long it would take, (that time estimate was accurate) and a clear statement that the problem was due to an error by the service department. I appreciate that acceptance of accountability. The oil change and car wash was nice, too.

Our Kona SEL is stunning to look at. The included technology in the car and the app make it so enjoyable. It is so quiet when driving. We only have 572 miles on it and MTN VIEW HYUNDAI will check on it at 1000 miles. Great warranty too. This replaces a 2006 PT Cruiser. We are very happy with this car and dealership!

Elgin Hyundai is a team that treats those who walk in like people, not customers. They aren’t trying to get you for the most money or a commission, they genuinely want to help. My wife and I’s one car broke down a week before Christmas. We needed something that we could afford and be reliable for her to get to work and for us to run errands. Went in looking at a 16 Cruze & 18 Malibu, they sold me a brand new 2025 Elantra and couldn’t have felt better about the decision Jim, Alfonso, Mike…Thank you for everything. It was a slow process but the sales team was able to come to an agreement with me and my wife. I told them it was not simply matter of getting the best deal we could, but that we flexed as much as possible and that the dealership had to adjust to meet our financial parameters which they did. Otherwise we would not have been able to leave with the vehicle.

Amazing Service one would expect when purchasing a vehicle including the amazing service department. It’s one thing to be happy with the vehicle you purchased let alone liking the salesperson involved, however what truly sets this dealership apart is its continued level of service that continues after the purchase, particularly from the Service Department. The Service Manager, Ron is truly polite and helpful and when it comes to customer service and satisfaction Jorge Quevedo is the man. This is definitely not your typical service department nor dealership as there level of quality of service separates them apart from any dealership and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle!

This is an excellent mid-size car if you're looking for something that will get you around the city. It has get up and go without even being a turbo and the gas mileage that my wife and I have achieved in this car on the highway is close to 36 miles to the gallon 😊😊😊😊😊
