I've owned about 20 new vehicles and sold cars for 22 years, did a ton on research and ended up with the Caligraphy, it gives you so many features I wanted for a reasonable price. The engine is great and has plenty of power, great stereo, great highway cruiser as well. I have 32k miles, Hyundai has covered all my maintenance, and no warranty claims so far. Great Value! I have normally owned Toyota and Honda but wanted some features they either didn't have or I would have had to go to Lexus or Acura and pay way more for what I wanted.

I am definitely satisfied with my 2011 Sante Fe Limited 😁 I have exactly 195404 miles on it, no warning lights are on, and it’s super fast for a mid sized suv. Tomorrow will be the ultimate test I’m driving from California to New Orleans Tomorrow almost 2000 miles 😳😩so I will be back with another review once I reach my destination.

I bought my 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited AWD with just over 123,000 miles in August 2022. So far I’ve put over 5,000 miles on it and have had no major issues (issues I have had will be talked about later). I only have a few complaints about this vehicle. First would be that it would be nice to either have more rear heating/air conditioning vents or dedicated rear heating/air conditioning. The other complaint I have is that I tend to press the radio buttons on the steering wheel while turning. Another complaint I have is that I’m currently only getting 16-18 mpg city (whereas EPA estimate is 20). This was a little difficult to adjust to as I was getting 22-25 in my 05 Kia Spectra I traded in but is a bit better than the 8-10 in my 99 Dodge Durango (that I also traded in). The materials are ok for what they are as well. The plastics are plastic, but not flimsy. The carpet is carpet and does what it does. It doesn’t seem like cheap carpet, but it isn’t high quality either. I’ve got all weather floor mats, so not much gets on the carpet. I’ve got “leather” seats (front are heated as well) and the material is good quality (better than the plasticky leather I had in the Durango) and are for the most part comfortable. Soft touch places on the doors and other interior pieces are mostly the same texture and “cushion” as the seats. I’m mostly impressed with the sound system. The 10 speaker infinity system sounds better than most sound systems I’ve heard, I only wish that was Android Auto/Apple Car Play compatible. Only major issue I’ve had was the alternator and battery going bad (battery was about 5 years old, and alternator seemed to be original and was a pain to change). Also, when I bought it, I knew I had to replace front struts and ball joints as I could tell the alignment was off my tire wear. I replaced the struts and complete control arms (easier than just the ball joint). These parts were all original and there were obvious signs the vehicle was taken off road. An upcoming issue that I’ll probably have this summer is it looks like I’m going to be needing to change the water pump as I can see coolant leaking from around it. Other than my 2008 Subaru WRX I had a few years ago, this is the best running & driving vehicle I’ve had.

I have owned or leased about 12 new Hyundais and about 40 new cars in my lifetime. As I am getting on in years and don’t drive that much I think this will be the last car I will own. That said, I am more satisfied with this car than I have ever owned. The only thing that I am not happy with is the push button transmission. I much prefer the conventional shift lever. If something should happen to this car, I would replace it with another exactly like this one. A niggling point is the placement of the charging pad. It is easy to lose something down there but can be retrieved with a shop vac. No big deal.

I always receive excellent service at the dealership. The entire service team is friendly and welcoming. They work efficiently and are always communicative.

This is my First time ever buying a Hyundai I sold a Acura RDX and purchased the Hyundai Santa Fe. I have no complaints. My Acura had everything in it and so do my Santa Fe. The difference is my Santa Fe is very comfortable and I really love it. As of now I have no complaints.

Cannot reach under the console, Blindspot on the passenger side and seats are not very comfortable. Otherwise, the car is a very nice car and has decent pick up power for just the four-cylinder.

This is my 3rd Santa Fe in 10 years.Great car for the price. Body integrity not so great as chips in paint appear. Same issue with other 2. Biggest complaint is heat system. Don’t expect to put in auto at start. Will never warm cab. Must manually get cab warm then you may be able to use auto. Auto directs heat to extreme downward location.

As always the service provided by McGovern is top notch. Robert is a knowledgeable and helpful service advisor. The work was done properly, on time, and my car was returned in excellent condition. The one complaint I have is the confusion on the price of the service. The work order I submitted showed a price of approximately $750. The original invoice showed price of over $1200. When I questioned it, I was told that there was confusion as the website had one price, the billing system another and a third price in another system. I ended up being charged $984, more $200 over the website price. On the future, I will only take my car back for warranty work and to independent repair shops for routine maintenance. Due to the price juggling I no longer have trust in the dealership.

I have owned probably 70 plus cars in my 70 years when counting company vehicles. I bought an old 2007 Santa Fe for my kid and loved it … got a 2023 for myself. Bought my Fiancé a 2023 Rav4 hybrid at the same time as I had one in 2021 for myself. This car is much quieter, better ride and a 20% better value. Just look at the warranty difference. Toyota will be losing market share when the word gets out. Hyundai is making a much better value.

Very comfortable, very solid feeling, love my Santa Fe PHEV, around town get about 88 mp gallon, often much more. Some controls confusing, especially heat/AC; buttons and dials would be better than touch screen. Would like forward drive gear button to be in front with rear behind, a safety issue.

Performance is not what I expected though. But everything else is very nice and smooth ride. I would buy again until the day I die.

We are in our 70's and wanted a car that had blind spot protection with great window visability, a good sized GPS map, keyless entry, and good fuel economy. Also, it has good space in trunk with fold down rear seats. At 51,000 miles we have had no issues.

We purchased the 2024 Santa Fe Calligraphy. We absolutely love this SUV. It is so comfortable to ride in regardless of where you sit. I haven’t found anything I don’t absolutely love about this SUV. Agree with the other reviewers. Great car all around. Best bang for your buck. Until my wife's car I was not familiar with Hyundai. She has a 2015 sonata sport and it was so dependable and nicely equipped that I was sold on the brand when my wife's car hit 130k and she never did anything to it except brakes, new tires, and oil changes.. not to mention that one is still going strong today as well. So anyway... Bought the 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe limited ultimate awd used a year ago with 50k miles on it for similar reasons others seem to have bought one. Dependability, comparable or better features than competitors in its class, not bad on gas mpg, tons of cargo space, great tow capacity, pano sunroof, heated and cooling seats, standard plug in trunk, second row captains seats that recline and move forward and back oh not to mention are heated, heated steering wheel, great v6 power house, privacy shades in second row, nice touch screen, awesome 10 speaker audio system with subwoofer, high intensity headlights, oh and a limited slip rear locking differential that is on vehicles like the new genesis suv or my ram 1500, both are around $50kish new with those options. The only thing I wish it had which my one year older 2015 ram 1500 Laramie longhorn has is front sensors for parking and led lit side door storage areas but that truck was $10-15k more brand new than the Santa Fe was new... So moral of the story, pretty impressive Hyundai.
