Have a 2020 Sonata SEL with convenience package and it's now 11/24. 26 thousand miles and never had an issue. Car is comfortable reliable and my wife and daughter have our their feet down when I wanted to get another vehicle. My daughter wants it in a few years as I drive carefully, service the car every 4,000 miles. She wants a free car with under 50k miles that will last 200k miles. I have taught her well. She understands a good value. So glad I got the 2.5 non turbo as I believe the engine will be worry free for another 175k miles

The car is a solid economical choice for a daily car. The mileage you get is amazing and the interior volume of the sedan is quite spacious, including the boot.

I have a 2017 Sonata SE that has been a very good, reliable vehicle. I spend alot of time on the road for my job and it had never given me any issues; very comfortable, gas mileage around 30+. As many others have said, the engine conked out at around 124,000 mi. The dealer replaced it with a new factory engine 2 mos ago. A week after I got it back, the accelerator something or other broke so I took it back and had to pay $500 to repair it. (they swore it was unrelated- I dont think so) Other than that, it has been a great car.

I have the Limited. This is my 6th Hyundai/Genesis car and they just keep getting better. The technology is fantastic and equals many features in luxury cars at twice the price. In June I took a 3450 mile trip, hit 14 states and a variety of traffic conditions and it just kept chugging along with no effort. Features like HDA help on the long days of 700 miles. Used less gas than my previous car too, 95 gallons on that trip.

I've owned a Sonata 2.0T Limited since 2011. Only major issue was metal shavings in the engine block. Hyundai installed a new engine and everything us been perfect for the next 47K miles. I'm also 6'5" and over 300Lbs but I'm always comfortable when driving or being a passenger in the front seat. I would buy another one but my wife wants something higher to stay above the traffic.

I had work done on my Hyundai Sonata on February 17, 2025 and Josh Durdaller was the Service Advisor. Josh was very courteous & greeted me cheerfully as I approached the desk to do the paperwork for maintenance on my car. Later on he let me know that certain services needed to be done on my car to keep it in good working order. He patiently explained all the work that needed to be done and how long it had been since I had had those services performed. And Josh was right - the services he recommended did need to be done. I trust Josh because I have worked with him throughout the years and he always been honest and straightforward with me. He is very professional in his work. I have had nothing but a GREAT experience, from buying the car to owning it! I went to Auto Land of Accident Maryland to look at vehicles. I had no idea whatsoever of what I wanted but I knew it was time for a new vehicle. Kerri and Chad helped me find my beautiful red Hyundai Sonata, and I fell in love immediately. Chad had me in and out fast and was such a huge help with everything! I have had it for 3 months now and nothing to complain about! It drives so smooth, the steering handles great! The gas mileage is unreal. My son and I went to Florida for a week, and as a girl who loves road trips we drove it to Florida from Maryland. Then we drove all of the way back. A 16 hour road trip, 985 miles one way and I was getting 43.7 mpg. I couldn’t believe it! That whole trip took a little over two full tanks! This car has been perfect for hauling things around in since it has so much room in the trunk and back seat. The seats are comfy so my son didn’t mind the long trip in fact he slept through a couple of states. This is my dream car! Thank you so much Autoland!

I bought new in 2015. Now over 110K miles. No issues at all except regular maintenance. It's been one of the best cars I've owned - value, comfort, MPG, etc. It has dated well and doesn't look like a 11 year old car. The 2.4 does burn about a quart of oil every 2K miles. I regularly check the oil level and do all maintenance early. I don't know how it would hold up if I drove it hard or didn't do regular maintenance.....

I purchaes my car new. And I love my car kept it service and it has been good to me. I have wsy over 100,000 miles and still going.

One of the nieces car you can get for money. Great car and very safe new cylinder ignition lock replace on all these cars so can't be stolen any more.

The car ran great for around 170k miles, then the engine had some issues, but got those sorted and its good. Comfortable, fast and looks good.
