Have loved this car! Only negative has been with towing my boat. Amy trailer causes the back to ride too low and thus lifts the front tires up so there's not enough traction to pull boat out at the ramp.

I have driven this suv since July of 2011. I have almost 160,000 miles. It is the best car I have ever owned and will drive it until it dies. I hate that it is no longer made. I have never had a moments trouble with it. Only replaced tires❤️

This car has been a great daily. It ride's like a luxury car- its suspension floats over bumps, and the shifts are smooth. Its seats are comfy, and there is much room, except in the third row. The interior aged nicely, and the car blends in, even in 2023. No unexpected repairs with the car at 126,000 miles. It's been a great car. The power is adequate for its size. She roars when you push the gas, and it's pretty impressive how she moves, especially at higher speeds. Both my wife and I agree it feels faster than her Chevy Equinox. However, we tend to use Equinox more when trying to save on gas. It has many features that still don't come standard today. For instance, our Veracruz has a power-adjustable steering wheel and 7-way power seats on both front seats, while the Equinox doesn't. The only thing I like less is the brakes; they don't stop as fast as you think, so if you get one, allow yourself more time to stop. Just keep up with the oil changes and follow the owner's manual, and the Veracruz will run great. The Veracruz was one of Hyuandi's best offerings to attract people to the new brand. The Veracruz has fantastic features that still don't come standard today. I still find more things I didn't know about the car to this day! Excellent car, sad Hyundai doesn't make it anymore

In my opinion, this is the best car I have ever owned I am almost 60 years old so I’ve had several vehicles in my life . This is the best car that I have ever driven, that I have traveled in,it us reliable, It has checked off every single box except one; when I got it, it didn’t have remote start; easily rectified. I had it taken into a place that that my local Hyundai dealership recommended…. had it installed and now it’s perfect! It’s a beautiful vehicle and it rides Wonderful…. There’s nothing bad to say about it …. I love love love my Hyundai VeraCruz !!

I have owned a Hyundai Veracruz for a long time—I love this. One of the best for its money and reliability, it dedicates itself to you. If you maintain it regularly and with quality, it will succeed. I loved its practicality and size. Veracruz is a gas guzzler, but considering his dedication, it's good to ride in the city and great on the highway if you forgive him. You do not expect crazy performance from a big, heavy SUV. He is not designed to race. However, it has enough torque and horsepower to stay smooth and quiet on highways and in cities. You barely hear a V6 idling. The steering is decent and light. For instance, you are not tired from driving this SUV. The cost of maintenance is affordable. Of course, it has certain expensive elements, as does every other manufacturer. Not delaying services and not expecting the Hyundai Veracruz to be a racing truck are the two aspects that matter most.

We have owned our '08 Veracruz since 2012 and it currently has 220K miles on her with no real issues to date. This has been an amazingly reliable and comfortable vehicle and I consider it one of the best cars I have owned including several Luxury Japanese brands. The 3.8L V6 is good power for this vehicle and while the '08 doesn't have all the techno-centric gadgets of newer cars, the interior is spacious and comfortable for extended periods of driving. 2007 is when Hyundai released the Genesis Sedan and the Veracruz was, essentially, the SUV version of the Genesis Sedan with the same engine very similar materials and features used. While Hyundai went on to create a luxury brand around the Genesis nameplate it is unfortunate that the Veracruz didn't find a home under that same brand. It should have. It is a great car that I highly recommend.

I purchased this Veracruz used. It's the GLS version. I had test driven a Limited, which was much nicer on the interior. I wished I had bought the Limited, but I got a better deal. The transmission is great, shifts very smooth. Has just enough power. The steering is a little wild for my taste, very touchy. It has taken some getting used to. The cloth for the seats is subpar, not the quality of other vehicles. Love the 3rd row, plenty of storage space. There's a good amount of leg room in the second row. If I wrecked it, I'd definitely look for another one.

My Husband recently bought this vehicle for me after my 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport's ENTIRE computer system went out . I absolutely LOVE it! It makes the 4 cyl. Rogue seem like a TIN can.
