Service was excellent. Called the dealership inquiring about a 2010 honda civic. The sales representative, Shane Heimberger, put me on hold to verify the car was still available and physically held the keys so it wouldn't be sold while we were on the way to view it. Car was exactly as described, and parked on the side awaiting for me to test drive. Shane, showed us the inspection information and basically told us everything that was wrong with the car. Purchased the car, and they delivered it the next day to my home over an hour away. Very pleased with the service, would definitely recommend them to a friend.

This car suits my everyday commute to work and also provides a nice sporty touch to it. The interior is comfortable and spacious for the size of the car

Let me add to the engine problems. Overall I really like this vehicle. We have taken many trips and enjoy the feel on the road. Maintenance has not been a major issue until recently. It started using oil on a regular basis. About a quart every two to three weeks. At around 92k miles it is now in the shop waiting to see if Hyundai will honor their warranty. It needs a new engine. It runs ok now, for a sewing machine. Hopefully Hyundai will honor their warranty and I can get another 90k miles out of the vehicle.

I love my Kona, easy to get in and out of, runs great, great on gas. The only problem is the spoiler is plastic and the paint has faded. I think it is a flaw in the paint job. The paint is out of warranty but Hyundai is going to take a look at it and see if they can help in any way.

I have the Limited version of this car. It has a very comfortable ride compared to our Tesla M3. Range is plenty for daily commuting and long drives. The car charges very quickly at EA stations and comes with 2 years of free charging. The front seats are very comfortable and fully recline plus they are heated and cooled. The infotainment system is feature rich but the controls are a complicated mess so I mostly use Apple CarPlay with works great on the large display. I suggest you test drive this car as the photos make it seem smaller than it really is. It’s about crossover size but with a hatchback. The Digital Teal and Shooting Star matte paint colors are beautiful! My Hyundai service center has been excellent but some other Hyundai dealers are not so great. Visit your local service center before buying.

I love my elantra. I haven't hardly had any problems with it at all. However I also experienced the paint chipping on my white hyundai. I was also told that it was a rock. Now reading others comments about their paint shipping I question it. I paid out of pocket because it wasn't worth going through insurance with deductible and everything. Other than that I have had absolutely no problem with my Hyundai. I also like the look of it on the outside. I thought about trading for a newer one but I also don't like the styles of the new ones. I wish they still made them like the 2016 exterior. I would love to have a newer one but I would like for it to look like the 2016 hyundai. The reason for that is you could look at the car and see it was a Hyundai elantra. Now I feel like the new launchers look like every other car on the road.

I had a oil change and transmission check. The work was done quickly. The service lane assistant Alli Smith was very professional.All work was done well.

I have a commute of about 80 miles a day to work and over the last month of ownership, I have been extremely impressed with the performance and frugal gas mileage. The other bells and whistles have just enhanced my driving experience!

Bought a brand new 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL Convenience in Sept 2021, owned it for 4 years now. With 45,000 miles, Ive had no major problems other than normal wear and tear, like brake pads, oil and tires. Very reliable, comfortable and affordable. If I were going to nitpick, I would prefer non leather steering wheel and gear shift. I keep them covered so they dont get worn out. Love this SUV!

September 18, 2025 was the second time I scheduled an appointment with the Service Manager David Gray at Shively's. I rank David Gray at the top of Service Managers. First, he is kind and caring. His demeanor rings with kindness and heart. I noticed David treated each customer as if the customer were the only one getting service. His voice is cheerful and so genuine and he listens ti customers. Second, he is extremely professional and knowledgeable about the services Shively's offers and the service a customer wants and needs. Third, it is obvious that his technicians and office staff respect him. Fourth, when I left Shively's Service Department both times, I was confident that David Gray and his technicians had serviced my vehicles with the utmost expertise and care. I have a 2024 Tuscan XRT .I bought slightly used and now has 17k miles . It has been a fantastic car. Initially wanted the SEL convenience hybrid for the gas mileage but couldn’t justify spending an extra $4-6k to save a few hundred dollars on gas a year. My non- hybrid has gotten amazing gas mileage. Averaging 28-29 mpg mostly stop and go, some highway. Way better than the estimates of 23-28mpg. The EPA estimates are way off ! The Tuscan drives so smooth and so quiet. The 8 speed transmission is amazing! It shifts quickly and so smoothly . The cabin is extremely quiet. I think there is more insulation/ sound proofing than the hybrid versions that try to cut down on weight. You don’t hear any road noise in theTuscan !The suspension is smooth and adsorbs every bump . The most surprising positive is the handling. There is absolutely no body roll and handles like it is on rails! I have owned a lot of vehicles and this handles better than anything in this price range. Handles better than any Subaru, better than the BMWs I have had. Feels like I am driving an Audi A4 which is pretty impressive. The seats are extremely comfortable, the stock radio sounds great, lots of legroom and the passenger and cargo room is amazing. Back seats hold full size adults and the seats recline! The cons. Not very many. The 0-60 could be better. However, it shifts so quick and smoothly you don’t notice any issues with speed/ power. A few reviews say 0-60 in like 9 +seconds . I don’t think this is accurate. My guess is high 7s -low 8 seconds but haven’t tested it. It doesn’t have sports car speed but it sure handles like one. For long drives and a daily driver, I would take the comfort / quietness and handling of Tuscan over a muscle car.

Ive owned an SEL Convenience from new. It has an incredible performance for a Hybrid. It has a quiet, has a fabulous tiptronic transmission (with paddle shifters) with an amazing sport mode. The thing is, that if you use too much right foot, your gas mileage goes down by about 10mpg ... but it does with any car, right ? If you drive smoothly and don't accelerate hard the gas mileage can go to over 40mpg ! At 55-65mph on level pavement, it gives great gas mileage .. but accelerating at traffic lights or going fast up gradients doesn't. Thats what happens with performance vs economy. This car is well built and has great space and grace. Those that criticize the gas mileage must be "pedal to the metal" people! The sound system and Apple/Android access is really good - better than many other car brands. The warranty is amazing and so is the service support network. I'm sad to be selling my SEL Convenience because I going abroad. I'll definitely get another one when i return.

I have a 2017 Sonata SE that has been a very good, reliable vehicle. I spend alot of time on the road for my job and it had never given me any issues; very comfortable, gas mileage around 30+. As many others have said, the engine conked out at around 124,000 mi. The dealer replaced it with a new factory engine 2 mos ago. A week after I got it back, the accelerator something or other broke so I took it back and had to pay $500 to repair it. (they swore it was unrelated- I dont think so) Other than that, it has been a great car.

I just got a 2022 Kona Limited after having a 2015 Golf for years. I like all safety features and comfort items. The steering wheel is stiffer than I am used to and think that is due to lane assist. I haven't figured out why the nav system doesn't talk, but it must be a setting issue. I used a Garmin unit for nav in past, but Kona's screen is much better. Some people say the space is small, but just fine for me. Overall, i like the Kona

The Good? Getting great gas mileage if you can stand to resist the fast lanes! The Bad? Push Button CVT transmission The Ugly? While engaging from Park to D or R, the vehicle tends to drift before engaging or requires multiple attempts to work! Dealer says they know about the problem but cannot do anything about it until a recall notice from Hyundai’

What a great experience I had at Darcars of Frederick! This was the fastest and most transparent buying experience I have ever had and this is my 13th car. I saw the car on cars.com and called the dealer. The dealer answered all my questions upfront and had the car ready for my test drive when I pulled up to the dealership. Had me driving off in MY new 2011 30 minutes after I got back from the test drive. Smoothest process ever!

Elantra 2024 hybrid is a stylish, powerful, great on gas, and nice to drive on highway or around town. Seems durable so far, no issues.

Our salesperson, Brian Van Winkle, was pleasant, professional and not at all pushy. We purchased the exact vehicle we wanted at a fair price. The finance office was exactly the same way. Bought this car yesterday and drove home 285 miles against a 25 to 30 mph wind and at 80+ mph (mostly interstate) and got 31 mpg. The trip was non-stop and thoroughly enjoyable. Dealership got my phone set up in Android Auto and my Spotify music sounded WAY better than I had come to expect after reading "professional" reviews of the 6 speaker system. I thought it was more than adequate and the equalization program was good. Seats were more than comfortable, they were also very supportive. I emerged from the car with no TB. I wouldn't have been able to say that with other cars I've owned and some cost much more. Everything about the dashboard layout and Android Auto seemed intuitive. Bought the SEL with comfort and premium package so enjoyed the sun roof, LED lights etc. The ride was controlled, the road noise and wind and engine sound was noticeable at times but at no time was any of it even close to unacceptable or intrusive. I was amazed at how quiet is was in light of a number of paid critics' views that cabin noise is so problematic. Several people commented today that they found the vehicle very attractive and couldn't believe the purchase price. They thought it must have been a much more expensive purchase. I downloaded the Hyundai app and can now read the owner manual on my phone. It also will remotely start the car, score your driving (for your eyes only unless you want them to give it to your insurance company) and perform many more functions including remote locking and provision of vehicle status reports in real time. Your maintenance program reminders and records are also provided. I think this is the most car you can buy for the money. Many safety features are standard on the SEL including lane keeping, blind spot advisories , Auto braking etc. Before you buy a small SUV/Crossover at any price you should do a lot of research. If you do, you will certainly give the Venue a closer inspection. Just because it is very affordable is really no reason to not consider it seriously. BTW, the dealership in Sioux City IA is excellent. You won't believe how beautiful this one is when dressed in Galactic Gray!! Reliability rating is unearned at this point but I am confident that it will be earned.

Overall the Elantra is a great commuter car. It has been reliable. We consistently average 35 to 40 mpg with mostly highway driving. The seats are comfortable.
