We drove our 2019 SEL from CA to OH and back in July 2021. It was a perfect ride. Our cat even got to like it. The Ionic performed better than any advertisement we saw. The sticker indicates mpg @ 57. At best we got 57.6! We didn’t get 57 the whole trip, but our 5100 mile averaged was 54. I stopped leasing after 3 cars to buy this one. Best car I’ve bought in 40 years.

We have a 1.6T. It has all of the performance we need but turns into a 40+ mpg car on long trips. It is the ultimate GT car.

On yesterday, April 24, I had the opportunity to purchase a vehicle I had been wanting for quite some time. Bought the 2012 Veloster shortly after its introduction. It has all of the trim options available, though I never learned to use them. This car has had a lot of pesky recalls, but that is like a lot of vehicles. There have been NO problems for my car, except for an inexpensive part repair in the steering column at about 90K miles. I bought this car because of 1) the great m.p.g., 2) the sporty appearance, and 3) to more easily navigate city traffic. My only complaints are: 1) the seats are not well-padded nor provide lumbar support, but they hold you great when zipping around sharp curves in the mountains, 2) it sits so low to the ground (as sporty cars do), which make it difficult for a tall and older person to get in and out. Those who desire a lot of power would probably be disappointed.

We were interested in a vehicle at CarMax about 275 miles from where we live. We paid to have the car delivered to the location near us. There was nothing specific that the CarMax dealer did other than be sure the car was moved as quickly as possible. We did not visit the location where the car was being offered and the car was not delivered to our home.

I love my elantra. I haven't hardly had any problems with it at all. However I also experienced the paint chipping on my white hyundai. I was also told that it was a rock. Now reading others comments about their paint shipping I question it. I paid out of pocket because it wasn't worth going through insurance with deductible and everything. Other than that I have had absolutely no problem with my Hyundai. I also like the look of it on the outside. I thought about trading for a newer one but I also don't like the styles of the new ones. I wish they still made them like the 2016 exterior. I would love to have a newer one but I would like for it to look like the 2016 hyundai. The reason for that is you could look at the car and see it was a Hyundai elantra. Now I feel like the new launchers look like every other car on the road.
