I love this subject. The Santa fe pulls my boat with ease, has great performance and handling. I still can't believe I get 30 mpg while cruising at 75mph on the highway all this from a roomy all wheel drive vehicle.

We have a 2013 and it has 230k on it and runs like new, body is in excellent condition, been normal wear and tear things but we have gotten our money’s worth out of it and would buy another, we have the turbo model so it’s fun to drive and has the power on the high way.

We have a 2017 Limited Ultimate that just turned 193K miles. We bought it in Feb 2016. If you change the oil at 5k miles and the transmission fluid at 60k, and this car will run forever. Never had a problem with it. Everything still works inside and it still looks great. My only knock on the car is the rattle that developed in the rear doors when driving on the highway. My wife doesn't even hear it anymore, but it bugs me.

The interior is very nice and comfortable and nice stero system heating car seats and sterling wheel heats up .Just wish would took more time on other parts of car like oxygen sensor and emission system problem with gas cap

Overall the Elantra is a great commuter car. It has been reliable. We consistently average 35 to 40 mpg with mostly highway driving. The seats are comfortable.

Bought this new, never had any major issues mechanically. I take care to give it regular oil changes with synthetic. The nav has gotten laggy so I don't bother with it anymore and stick with my phone. I've also noticed the TPMS sensors seem more sensitive lately, so it annoyingly warns me about low tire pressure, even when it's not that bad yet. This blocks the screen telling me avg. mpg, so I have to fill it up I can't just ignore it for awhile. Other than that I still love driving it, it's quick enough for me and fun to drive around town. I was expecting to change cars much early especially with the warranty now over, but I'm going to stick with it for a few more years.

This is a great car. Bought new, SE with 6 spd manual. Quite fast, 0-60, 7.5 seconds. mileage on highway up to 50 mpg. price paid OTD 14500. maintenance, put gas in it, change the oil every 10000 miles. New battery after 52 months. 30000 miles on car. No problems with car. I would recommend this car to anyone. Best mileage seen 56 mpg. worst 13 mpg., avg. 42 mpg., city, highway. will cruise on highway at 80 mph all day long and still get 40, plus mpg.

My old car had 483000km, no warning lights or repairs to the engine or transmission. Keep up with your maintenance

The only problems I've had with my 2012 Hyundai Elantra touring, has been the recalls. It's very comfortable and very economical and I love the way it looks. I get a lot of compliments on my Elantra touring.

I purchased my car used. It was a trade-in to a Toyota dealer in San Antonio, Texas. It started off as a rental in Florida and I am the 3rd individual to own it. It has been an overall good car. But, the AC control knob that controls the fan speed has gotten stuck om low. I can still control the temp, but on cold mornings, it takes forever to defrost the windows, and om hot days, forever to cool the car. Also, there are times the screen that shows the back-up camera doesn't work. There are big-time blind spots with this car, so the camera is necessary. When the screen goes out, so does the radio. I am unable to turn it on, no volume, or changing stations. It's as if there is no radio at all. I thought at first I may need a new control knob, but now I am thinking there may be a wiring problem... such as a disconnect exfed or burned wire. I don't think it's a fuse. If so, it wouldn't work at all. Any suggestions?

I had to take a car back due to unforeseen circumstances on my side and it was easy as they helped me to find something more affordable and reliable in my price range. I purchased this car new in 2017 with the intention of giving it to my daughter when she started driving in 2019. I ended up keeping it and bought her something else. I have been very happy with this car. It is approaching 100k miles and I have not had one major repair on it. I've always changed the oil on it at regular intervals. (Note-if you let the oil get low, the car may stall and the oil light will come on, especially when turning left, but that's on me.) I wanted an economical car and it continues to get great mileage--around 40 MPG on the highway. It has been on multiple trips to Florida and Georgia and it has done well. I am 6-3 and ride comfortably in the driver's seat. We are now a Hyundai family. As I think about replacing it with a small SUV, I will give Hyundai more than a fair opportunity to earn our business.

I was blown away at its performance and ability to pick up and go. The interior is whisper quiet on the freeway in heavy traffic. The comfort level is a 15 out of 10. All the electronic do-dads ... Mind blowing (for me anyway 😝) Couldn't be happier!
