I purchased my 2015 Hyundai Elantra Limited without really even knowing all the extras it has. I'm learning new things about it all the time. I've never had a car so fancy! Hey, after 12 years with a Kia Spectra, this car is FANCY! I've never had leather seats, let alone heated leather seats! I've never been able to make a phone call by telling the car to call someone! I cant really think of anything about this vehicle that disappoints me at all. I'm just grateful to Gustman Honda in Appleton and my salesman Jon Devet for being so great and helping me keep to my budget while still getting SO much car! I know she's 6yrs old but shes like new to me, and I love her. Great car!

This car might appear blend but it is fun to drive. Parts are cheap. Very easy to fix. Just a very reliable car. In february 2021 my elantra has 424 k kilometers. I love my elantra.

the 2012 Hyundai Sonata is a smooth comfortable car with a potential flaw that Hyundai has, in my opinion, addressed adequately. First the Pros: It is stylish in both the interior as well as exterior design. It is comfortable, even for me at 6'3" and is not tiring for extended periods on the highway. The fuel economy is good averaging for me about 32 MPG with mostly highway driving. The engine has reasonable power when needed and is generally smooth. The cons are that the 4-cylinder Theta-II engine that the Sonata Uses, (as well as the Santa Fe and Kia Optima and Sorento) has a known flaw that causes the #4 cylinder connecting rod bearing to wear out prematurely causing engine failure. Hyundai has recently extended the Engine Warranty to a lifetime warranty on these engines and that includes if you bought the car used. I think this is a reasonable response. My Sonata suffered this exact failure 5 months ago at 164,000 miles and the engine was replaced with no pushback. The car carried an original 100K mile warranty which is still considered industry leading so, legally, any car over 100K miles Hyundai and Kia could have stuck to their original warranty agreement and taken no action. But that is not what they are doing. One of the reasons I gave Korean cars a try several years ago was the lack of response I got on a Japanese brand known for their high quality that also had a known failure point but took no action after the warranty expired. Because of Hyundai's ultimate response I still highly recommend the car. if you have a higher mileage Sonata, my advice would be sure you have some sort of roadside assistance, so in case you experience this same failure, you will not be left stranded. The good news is that in the rare instance you experience this issue, you should receive a new engine.

I've owned a Sonata 2.0T Limited since 2011. Only major issue was metal shavings in the engine block. Hyundai installed a new engine and everything us been perfect for the next 47K miles. I'm also 6'5" and over 300Lbs but I'm always comfortable when driving or being a passenger in the front seat. I would buy another one but my wife wants something higher to stay above the traffic.

I love my elantra. I haven't hardly had any problems with it at all. However I also experienced the paint chipping on my white hyundai. I was also told that it was a rock. Now reading others comments about their paint shipping I question it. I paid out of pocket because it wasn't worth going through insurance with deductible and everything. Other than that I have had absolutely no problem with my Hyundai. I also like the look of it on the outside. I thought about trading for a newer one but I also don't like the styles of the new ones. I wish they still made them like the 2016 exterior. I would love to have a newer one but I would like for it to look like the 2016 hyundai. The reason for that is you could look at the car and see it was a Hyundai elantra. Now I feel like the new launchers look like every other car on the road.

This is on a 2004 Sonota that has 191,000 miles. I bought it new and it has never been back to the dealership for a warranty issue. It has 2.7 v-6 and doesn’t use any oil between oil changes. This by far has been the best car I have ever owned. Good gas mileage, I’m 6’3” and has plenty of leg room. Yes I would buy another.

I’m a 6’5” man and I fit very comfortably in the 2014 Hyundai Elantra GL. It is the only compact car that I could sit without my knees hitting the steering wheel and being able to comfortably extend my legs. I put my seat all the way back as you would expect which doesn’t leave much room for passengers in the back seat, but it doesn’t matter since I extremely rarely have passengers there.

The car ran great for around 170k miles, then the engine had some issues, but got those sorted and its good. Comfortable, fast and looks good.

Meets my needs and has multiple usb charges and has blue tooth and blue link and also xm satellite. Slap stick is good and 6 speed transmission is great

I bought my Elantra new. Never had to take it in for mechanical problems just front end due to pot holes. The car gave me an average mileage of 5.3/100km. I finally traded up to a newer Elantra. My old car had 483000km, no warning lights or repairs to the engine or transmission. Keep up with your maintenance

I bought one, loved it, sold it, missed it and was sad, so I bought another one exactly the same, am happy again. Awesome mid-size SUV. Good in all kinds of weather and haven't had a single issue with it. Do your oil changes as you should and keep up your basic maintenance and she will be a reliable vehicle well over 250,000 kms!

Glad we had the V 6 engine. Great acceleration and still 26+ MPG on HWY. In six years never one complaint. Regular maintenance was all and no problems. Family of four fit well on long trips. Sorry we traded it in, should have kept it for daughters to use when they started driving.

I NEEDED A CAR…I WENT ON AUTOTRADER AND FOUND A CAR I THOUGHT I MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN AT CAR NATION…I CALLED AND WENT DOWN TO MEET MIKE…MY PRIMARY CONTACT AT CAR NATION…AND TO TAKE IT ON A TEST DRIVE…I LIKED IT…I ASKED MIKE IF I COULD TAKE IT TO MY MECHANICS… WHOM I HAVE BEEN RELYING ON TO FIX MY CARS’ ISSUES OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF DECADES… TO HAVE THEM TAKE A LOOK AT IT…THE ANSWER WAS, “YES”…I PUT A SMALL DOWN PAYMENT ON THE VEHICLE TO SHOW MY GOOD FAITH…ALTHOUGH I WAS NOT ASKED TO DO SO…THE NEXT DAY I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANICS…THEY FOUND A COUPLE OF ISSUES WITH THE CAR…BUT NO DEAL BREAKERS…AND I ASKED THEM TO WRITE THEM DOWN…AND THEY DID…AND I WENT BACK TO CAR NATION AND SHOWED THEM WHAT MY MECHANICS FOUND…CAR NATION SAID THAT IF I STILL WANTED THE CAR…THEY WOULD FIX THE ISSUES AND I COULD PICK UP THE CAR AND TAKE IT HOME WITH ME THE NEXT DAY. THAT WAS FINE WITH ME. THE NEXT DAY…MIKE CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THE CAR WAS READY…I WANTED HIM TO CALL ME BEFORE I CAME DOWN BECAUSE I LIVE 60 MILES AWAY… WHEN I GOT THERE THE NEXT DAY…IT TURNED OUT THAT ONE OF THIER MECHANICS…CHRIS…WHO WORKED ON MY CAR THE PREVIOUS DAY… HAD A FEW EXTRA MINUTES ON HIS HANDS…SO HE TOOK ME ASIDE AND TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT HE DID TO THE CAR FOR ME…AND SHOWED ME PICTURES…ON HIS CELL PHONE… OF WHAT MY MECHANICS COULD NOT SEE…THE NOT VISIBLE PARTS THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEMS THAT MY MECHANICS COULD SEE…THE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES…SO TO SPEAK… I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THAT… IF THAT WAS NOT “BEING TRANSPARENT,” THEN I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE MEANING OF THE PHRASE. It is a great car with good mileage that lasts if it is taken care of. It also is good middle ground of of a day to day care and a fun car.
